For admission to a two-year M.Tech course at MIT Manipal, there is minimum eligibility criteria that is required to fulfil by every aspirant. Candidates who passed graduation in a relevant branch of B.E. or BTech with minimum 50% aggregate from a recognised university are eligible to apply for this course. It's mandatory for all the aspirants to fulfil the eligibility requirement before applying for the course. MIT Manipal M.Tech admissions are completely based on the merit of candidates in the last qualifying exam of undergraduation and scores obtained in MET/ GATE entrance exam. 

Manipal Institute of Technology accepts admission toM.Techthrough an entrance exam, i.e., Manipal Entrance Exam (MET) followed by counseling. This entrance is conducted in three phases. Admission to BTech MIT Manipal is based on a mandatory entrance test, i.e., Manipal Entrance Test MET followed by online/physical counselling sessions. This exam is conducted every year in 3 phases. Interested students need to qualify the exam with valid scores in order to get admission. The total fee for the BTech course ranges between  8.1 L & 13.5 L.
