I have wasted my time and am totally dissatisfied with the college. There is no enjoyment in the col

Placements: The placement was very good here; 90% of students will get placed in a company, but the IT company placements are higher compared to core companies. The lowest package is 10k per month, but the college brings good companies to the campus for interviews, and the placement process will be good.

Infrastructure: The college atmosphere was very good, and the teaching was very nice compared to other colleges. More than 500 Ph.D. staff are there in this college. The hostel food is very good, and both veg and non-veg are available in the hostel. However, in the hostel, there are strict rules, no using phones and no outings.

Faculty: The teachers are very friendly, and all are very qualified and knowledgeable. They will train the students and help them in all ways. The pass percentage of the semester is 45%. First, the students should score good marks in internal exams; only then can they pass the semester exams.

Other: This college has no events like other colleges. They will conduct them in one seminar hall, no going out of the hall. They will make dance and then gift distribution. There is no enjoyment in the college; only studies are good. If you come, all you can do is studying.

Review of Mepco Schlenk Engineering College.

Placements: Around 50-70% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Infosys and CTS were the top recruiting companies. Around 10% of students got internships in this course. Our college provided good machine shops and they were very useful for hands-on experience.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities were available for both girls and boys. Our campus was Wi-Fi enabled. The food quality was not good. Sports and games were not good in our college.

Faculty: Teachers were highly knowledgeable, and they teach students very well. The teaching quality was good. There were many training programs for students. Our course curriculum makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams were tough. The pass percentage was 90%, and very few students got failed.

Other: I opted for this course to know about the various manufacturing processes and also designing automation. Many events were conducted in our college. Extracurricular activities were also held.

Our college has good infrastructure, placements, and experienced faculty members.

Placements: The placements in our college are good and there are many companies recruiting mechanical engineers as well. They are also providing good salary packages. Companies like TCS and WIPRO recruit mechanical engineers as well. More than 60% of mechanical engineers will get placed.

Infrastructure: The college has a good mess and the canteen. Our classrooms are equipped with projectors and screen capture systems, which can be accessed by students at any time through Imparts software. The labs are well-equipped with advanced devices, and Wi-Fi connections are good.

Faculty: The teaching quality in our college is very good, and the teachers will help you get good marks. The curriculum designed by our college will make you learn more and more useful things related to the industry. Continuous assessment tests are conducted every month. The teachers are knowledgeable and will guide us to the correct path to get placed.

Not good but suitable for mugup learners.

Placements: Bad placement and no companies are coming in our batch. Only 20% of mechanical students got selected in placement but not in a core company. They placed in a software company and some of the students opt for higher studies because of no placement and the top recruitment company is Infosys only.

Infrastructure: Good building and drinking water facilities are always available but what is the use. No one is allowed to feel the good exposure of the college because there are a lot of rules and regulations which feel uncomfortable in our college life. A good library with lots of books but the library is allowed only after college hours.

Faculty: The syllabus is not updated. They only thought basic level and not let to know the advanced level and the syllabus is only for mark scoring with that you cannot glory in industrial work. Teachers are not well qualified. They only know the basics and the pass percentage is good because of the mentioned reason.

Review of Mepco Schlenk Engineering College.

Placements: The worst placements are provided for mechanical engineering students. College can't afford to bring the core companies, but they pressure us to learn programming to get a place in software companies. Placements will be from the worst recruiters like Garment companies, and the salary packages offered for mechanical students is poor, and it's around 2 LPA much low than total college fees. Only 30% of the students got placed including the software field.

Infrastructure: Buildings are well constructed but what is the use, it's just like a show case you cannot expose the college feeling from it. It is like a well-developed jail or juvenile for the students, and the staff behaves as warden in that education building. Quality of food is good and hygiene. Medical facilities are available for 24 hours.

Faculty: The course and the curriculum are updated, but the staff is not well updated. They are dependent on textbooks. Most of the college staff are former alumni of this college, so they take revenge on the students, what they suffer in their college life.

Other: Good question that why you chose this college, because of my fate .

Review of Mepco Schlenk Engineering College.

Placements: Only IT and CSE students got placed, but mechanical and civil students are not placed. They got placed in some software companies. Infosys and CTS are the top recruitment companies. Internships are offered in only IT and CSE departments, and 80% of the students of CSE and IT got placed. Only 40% of the students of mechanical and civil departments got placements.

Infrastructure: Canteen and hostel food is good and at hygiene condition, and different food items are provided on each day. Still, it gets bored for repeating the same food for a week. Medical facilities are available for 24 hours, but there is a lady doctor who is stubborn and always blame us for our medical problems.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college are the worst, and no one is well updated in knowledge. All of them depend on books. Most of the professors failed in the GATE exam, but they say that they are not well-updated. The course curriculum is not relevant to industrial exposure. It is an autonomous college, so the pass percentage is high. It is because question papers are prepared by them, and whatever they taught in the class would come in exams.

Other: Staff members are rude, but if they change their behaviour, then there can be an improvement. Our college staff members, HOD and principal, don't behave properly, so they need to change it.

The campus environment is bad, and no real-world exposure is provided.

Placements: Only IT, CSE, and electrical students get placed easily in IT companies, but for civil and mechanical students, the placements are poor. Infosys and CTS are the top recruiters, but the mechanical and civil students get placed off-campus because they can go to Thiagaraja Engineering College for off-campus placements. It is difficult for them to compete with TCE students.

Infrastructure: Good facilities and infrastructure are but available, but the staff are not supportive. Wi-Fi is available only to access the NPTEL course, so you can't access anything outside. The library is good, but no time is given to spend in the library. The canteen is waste, but it is hygienic, and no variety of food is provided. Only simple dishes are provided, and it is the same in the hostel. Medical facilities are available for 24 hours, but you can't get medical leave because staff think that we are lying.

Faculty: The syllabus is updated, but the staff are not much knowledgeable. The college alumni become the staff here. Exams are easy because our teachers prepare question papers. It is autonomous, so the pass percentage is good.

Other: If you are a book worm, then join this college. Otherwise, you can go for any other college.

I am dissatisfied because of the rules and regulations.

Placements: The mechanical course related placements are few. Most of the mechanical students get placed in IT companies because they only visit our college to recruit students. Our college trains us from our second year in programming skills. About 40% of the students got placed in IT companies, and 10% of the students got selected in core jobs. About 30% of the students opt for higher studies. The rest of the students are not placed.

Infrastructure: There is a good and green environment. The campus is clean. Lab facilities are good, and we should make our final year project on our own with the help of lab facilities. The canteen is the worst. Snacks are only available for a particular time, and there are no more variations.

Faculty: The course curriculum is advanced, but it is useless because staff members are not well-advanced with the syllabus. So, they cannot cope up with the syllabus. Most of the staff members are college alumni, and they are not knowledgeable. They are recruited because they are alumni of the college.

Other: Cell phones are banned in both the college and hostel.
