Miranda is the home away from home. It gives you the exposure you deserve.
Placements: Placements are not always course-wise. They are more based on experience and skills. You can join many societies, meet talented people who help you develop your skills and passion for different hobbies. There is place for every type of interest, a community for everyone.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and Campus is worth it's hype. The entire campus is all asthetic and pretty passing the correct women empowerment required. The hygiene to be maintained being a girls' college is top notch. The other aspects like the Auditorium and other space are cool and comfortable too.
Faculty: They really add value to the knowledge about your subject. The practical classes are really good, they try to teach you with real life methods rather than just making you copy. There are all types of facilities like lab and other materials required to the students for the course.

Absolutely satisfied with the campus, infrastructure, faculty members, and placements.
Placements: Placements at Miranda House College are good. The average package of 2024 to 2025 is around 9 LPA, and the highest package is around 24 LPA which indicates that students are provided with good placements here. Different companies from Barclays to KPMG visit every year and offer good packages. Placement cell also provides great internship opportunities. The highest stipend for an internship is 1.5 lakh. The college offers a wide range of roles from financial to marketing roles to roles in consulting. Placement is great for B.A. economics hons, mathematics, and computer science students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is great at Miranda House. The classes have proper whiteboards and some have smart boards as well. Library provides a wide range of books for reading enthusiasts to gain lots of knowledge. The computer labs are air-conditioned with working computers. Talking about the hostel, it is good but it can be better as the food here is okay but can be improved. The security is very tight. Canteen has affordable food and clean area. The campus also has Wi-Fi.
Faculty: Faculty members of our department are really good. Professors have deep knowledge and understanding of their respective subjects. They are also very friendly. Teachers conduct frequent group discussions, which help students to understand things from different perspectives. We have research programs here in which the teachers help us a lot. The course curriculum at Miranda House is quite good. Most of the subjects are updated and match with what's happening in the real world. Teachers also try to connect the theory with practical examples, which makes it more relevant. The semester exams are moderately tough.

This college is well maintained and very beautiful.
Placements: Only 3-4% of students got placed after graduation. The highest salary package for the last year was approximately 1.5 LPA. The lowest salary offered ranges between Rs 45,000 - Rs 50,000 per month. One of my friends got placed as company CEO with an average salary of Rs 85,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Washrooms, grounds, and all areas are very clean and well-maintained. We also have pad machines in girls' washrooms. We have all important books and journals in the library. We also have Wi-Fi in labs for better connectivity. Canteen food is also nice and affordable. In our medical room, we have all medical things for emergencies.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, understanding, and knowledgeable. They are always ready to guide and help us in any way they can. Their teaching quality is very interesting. They focus on practical learning but they should give less written assignments. We have an average level of difficulty in exams and this totally depends on our learning and preparations.

Our college is prettiest of all colleges. You will feel very safe, you can wear anything you want.
Placements: Philosophy department at Miranda House is very cheerful department and placements are also good. If you want to really get a placement you should be a part of placement cell from the very beginning and search for government internships as well.
Infrastructure: Our college is very beautiful with green lush everywhere. It's soothing to the mind and even you feel the safest Miranda. Our canteen is the best on whole North campus. Our hostel is very pretty as well and also has good-tasting food as I have heard about it from my friends. My department is very less chaotic and peaceful.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and kind. They are highly qualified with double Ph.D.s. If we talk about philosophy, it makes us understand the smallest of all things, which is the base of every creation. It provides us with the knowledge about universe, creation, god, etc. Teachers are very sweet, loving, and even the students of all three years are very helpful.
Other: Our college has one of the best fests, and every society is very active. My department also has a society named Happiness club, and as it's name says, happiness.

Amazing crowd and a vast array of opportunities.
Placements: As a Humanities course, there are no to very low placements in History Hons. The placement record for other market-related courses is very high though. You can get higher study options for abroad instead. Students getting internships were getting as museum curators or in other fields.
Infrastructure: Facilities: The campus infra is great as a government college. Wi-Fi is there but it works only at a few places. There are two Digital Resource Centers for students to access computers. The library has a large number of books from various subjects, a system to access audiobooks and find books in the library, and enough study space for students. Classrooms are not air-conditioned. There are four canteens in the college with quality food at affordable prices. The college has hostel facilities, but it's not for everyone as the seats are limited, so it is given only on marks basis. Reserved seats are also in the allotment of the hostel. The sports facilities are really great, and all major sports are there to practice with coaches.
Faculty: The faculty is really helpful and well-behaved. Only half of them are Ph.D. and others are assistant professors. Some of them are also doing research work. Most of them are good at teaching and assessment. The course curriculum with optional subjects is better than other universities in India. It is however not related to the job opportunities in the subjects. The semester exams are relatively easier, and most of the students manage to get good CGPA in exams.
Other: Bachelors in History Hons. is a great course for me as it was in the subject I loved to study. This course prepares me for research in the future and also for the UPSC Civil Services examination if I choose this as my optional subject in the exam. It can be better if they link it with job opportunities in History itself and also make the curriculum related to the competitive exams in India, as most of the students go for it after graduation. There are a lot of events and small fests going on in the college throughout the year. There are loads of opportunities for all. In the fest season of February and March, a lot of college and society fests take place with a large footfall. The campus crowd is diverse and extremely amazing though. Scholarship opportunities are a few, but if you really research thoroughly, you can find some good ones.

However, starting 2022, this scene has changed drastically. Final admission now for UG courses has nothing to do with the percentage obtained by students in Class 12. To be eligible students are only required to pass Class 12, appear for CUET UG and qualify it. Those who will meet the cutoff will be offered admission here.

A:

Students seeking admission to BA and BA (Hons) courses at Miranda Houses are required to apply via the CUET UG entrance exam and mention Delhi University as their preferred placeto study. A step-by-step process of admission is as follows:

The best a student can do is fill the preferred course & college in the CSAS registration form and try to score well in CUET UG & Class 12.

Q:   What is the BA Hons (English) cut-off for Miranda House?
A:

There is no cutoff released for BA Enlish (Hons) courses started 2022. For BA (Hons) in 2021, however, the lowest cutoff released stood at 99 per cent and the admissions closed right after the first round of cutoff released for General category candidates. While the admission process has completely changed for DU UG admissions starting in 2022 and for the academic year 2023, the competitiveness and quality of students selected for admissions have not changed. So, it can be believed that the students seeking admission to Miranda House should have scores competitive to 99 per cent marks in Class 12 to increase admission changes.
