Review of MIT Academy of Engineering, MAEER.
Placements: 60-70% of students get placed through campus placements, and others can find off-campus opportunities. Companies like TCS, CISCO, Infosys, and Wipro recruit students from our college. I am not too familiar with specific roles. The highest package offered is 25-28 LPA from our college, as per .
Infrastructure: The campus looks a bit old and small, but all the necessary facilities are available. The campus is divided into wings labeled A-F. All wings have their own Wi-Fi, toilets, and drinking water filters. There is one big library with air conditioning.
Faculty: All the teaching and helping staff are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable to some extent. The teaching quality depends on the teachers. Many of them are good at their job but there are some teachers who don't have much knowledge about the course and still teaching probably forced to teach a particular subject.
Other: I chose the Computer Science course because it was trending at that time. The college hosts placement events, and the fest is not that great but okay. Students should remember that they are in a tier-3 college and focus on their studies.

MIT Academy of Engineering, MAEER is not worth.
Placements: 40% of students from my batch have been placed. The highest package is 7 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA, with the average package around 4 LPA. Some of the top companies include JSW, Blue Star, and HNI. Sixty percent of students secured internships through the college with companies like Endurance, Blue Star, and Force Motors. Both technical and non-technical roles were offered by these companies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available only in the college library and the Internet section. MIT Academy of Engineering has built a new hostel this year, but many students cannot afford college housing. The food quality in the college canteen is fairly good, but the canteen is very small; at one time, only 70 to 80 students can be seated. There are no medical facilities available on campus, and sports activities are not provided.
Faculty: The faculty is well-qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is good, but it lacks practicality in the industrial world. Semester exams can be challenging to pass, but most students manage to do so. The mechanical department's faculty is excellent, with most teachers having obtained their PhDs from institutions like NIT and IIT.
Other: My B.Teach course in mechanical engineering.

Reality of MIT SCHOOL OF DESIGN, ALANDI.
Placements: We have 85 students in the class, after which 30-30-30 are divided per department (may vary according to the department). The college does not provide any placement as they do not have a separate placement cell for the students. As design students, we have to search for the internships and jobs on our own.
Infrastructure: The college does not provide any hostel facility for the boys. For girls, they do have a hostel around 50 meters from the college, which is exactly opposite the college entrance road. Other facilities like the playground and sports amenities are very few, or we can say, not at all present, as the college does not have any maintained ground for the students. The college does have its own mess and a private mess too.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members in the college are IIT, NID, IIM pass-outs, which is a plus point for students as they have around 15-40 years of industrial experience, and the faculty members are actual industrial experts. The courses are very practical here. The grading system depends totally on how convincing your idea is and the final output. After the completion of the semester, we have to take a jury exam as the end-semester exam, which is a single-day exam and may take 45 minutes to 3 hours.
Other: I selected product design as my main specialization. I can also choose a few courses from other departments too. After my 4th semester, I would really expect the college to improve the infrastructure on the campus, which includes roads, security, and sports facilities. Events are like once in a blue moon, so better you don't expect something like a Bollywood movie or even the bare minimum.

MITAOE Alandi Campus, infrastructure, curriculum overall review.
Placements: Approximately 75-80% of students were placed last year with an average package of 7LPA and the highest of 27LPA. Companies like Wipro, PhonePe, and Cisco are the top recruiters for this college. The placement rates for core branches are also quite good, and the college provides internships to nearly all students in their 3rd and 4th years.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus, and while the classrooms are decent overall, the desks need to be changed. MITAOE offers a well-developed infrastructure for engineering courses. The classrooms are spacious, well-lit, and equipped with projectors and whiteboards to support smart teaching methods. The college provides high-speed Wi-Fi in all academic blocks, which is particularly helpful for research and coding tasks. Each department has its dedicated laboratories with up-to-date equipment, whether for mechanical, computer, electronics, or civil engineering. The central library is well-stocked with academic books, journals, and e-resources, offering a peaceful environment for studying.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and friendly with the students. Exams are of moderate difficulty, and the papers are set by the college since it is autonomous. Semester exams pose a moderate challenge. Students who attend lectures and keep up with assignments typically find the exams manageable. In addition to written exams, the grading system includes continuous internal assessments, practical exams, and project evaluations. The pass percentage is fairly high, generally around 85-90%, as long as students maintain regular attendance and study consistently.
Other: Only one major event happened from Feb to March the name of the event was Nakshatra.

Satisfied because of faculty members, average placements, and below-average infrastructure.
Placements: Not all students get placed; around 40-50% of the students secure good internships and average placements. Meanwhile, very few students receive good packages. Although the college website claims an average package of 7.5 LPA, it is actually around 5-6 LPA. The highest package is not typically from campus placements, but I'm not sure about that.
Infrastructure: The campus is not very big; it’s even quite small, and the college lacks a proper sports ground. However, there is some construction work currently ongoing. The computer labs are good, featuring new i7 processor PCs and well-maintained facilities. Additionally, the campus has very fast Wi-Fi service with no issues. About Hostel: The hostel facilities are poor, especially given the high cost. I currently live in the college hostel, but I do not recommend staying there. The hostel charges between Rs. 90,000 and 1 lakh, yet the facilities are very inadequate.
Faculty: The best aspect of the college is the teaching staff for core subjects. Almost all of the teachers are very experienced, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good, except for a few cases. The curriculum is well-structured, but the time allotted for a semester is quite limited, around 4-4.5 months. By the end of the semester, there is a lot of pressure due to numerous assignments and assessments to submit. The exams are moderate; if you start studying a week or two before the exams, you can easily achieve an 8-8.5 SGPA/CGPA.

Absolutely satisfied with teaching but infrastructure and campus are not satisfactory.
Placements: 60-70% of students got placed. The lowest package is 3 LPA, and average package is 7 LPA to 8 LPA. The highest package is 10 LPA to 12 LPA. Recruiting companies are Cognizant Technology, etc. Our course relates to most of the industry relevant. Most of the syllabus is added in the curriculum, as industry sponser project that students do.
Infrastructure: Some buildings have Wi-Fi but some don't. Classrooms are okay and labs are also okay. All practicals in the lab are done properly. Canteen is also good and food available is fresh and healthy. Sports and games are not that much. College hostel is too much costly. College library is also satisfied.
Faculty: Our college teachers are so good and helpful in nature. Teaching quality is brilliant, also curriculum is industry-relevant. Exams are very strict and no cheating option. Curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Passing percentage is 40%.
Other: Campus is small and very few fest happen.

Admission FAQs

Q:   Can I get MIT Academy of Engineering, B.Tech with 88% in JEE Main?
A:

The eligibility criteria for B.Tech admission at MIT Academy of Engineering (MITAOE) require a minimum aggregate of 60% in the 10+2 examination or securing 60% in Physics, Mathematics, and any one of the optional subjects. The eligibility criteria and the admissions process indicate that a score of 88% in JEE Main, which roughly translates to a high percentile, is competitive and may make a candidate eligible for the counseling process. Shivaji University's DoT is more affordable for B.Tech, with total fees around ?3–3.5 Lacs including tuition.
MITAOE Alandi Pune is costlier, with total fees around ?5–7.5 Lacs including hostel.
If budget is a key factor, DoT Shivaji University is the better choice.
