    On Comparisons
Q:   Are the facilities provided for the MIT School of Engineering and Sciences M.Tech students worth the premium fee?
    A:

The MIT School of Engineering and Sciences M.Tech campus at Loni Kalbhor offers world-class amenities, including specialised labs for Aerospace and Robotics, which are often better than those at smaller city-based colleges. While the lifestyle and sports infrastructure are excellent, the semi-rural location means students spend more on-campus, so budget for extra daily living expenses accordingly.

Q:   What are the realistic placement prospects for an M.Tech at MIT School of Engineering and Sciences compared to other Pune colleges?
    A:

MTech students have reported an average salary package of INR 6.5 - 7 LPA. The highest package was INR 60.5 LPA. Although this is an impressive average package for any private university, colleges like PICT Pune usually provide even higher packages for M.Tech in Computer Science. This course is recommended for those who favour industry-oriented projects to theoretical research.

Q:   Is the higher fee at MIT SOES worth it compared to more affordable options?
    A:

It depends on what you value. If you want modern labs, high-tech infrastructure, and a more "corporate" campus feel, the premium at MIT might feel justified. If your main goal is getting a degree with a strong academic foundation without a heavy loan, institutes like Fergusson or Pune University offer much better "value for money."

The best top college in Pune.
Placements: There was no percentage limitation for placement. It totally depended on your skills and knowledge. The highest package was 10 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. There were top recruiting companies. There was no need to fill any criteria for the job. The only criteria applied were for passing to the next semester.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure facility was very good. Wi-Fi connection, labs, classrooms, and the library were very excellent. The quality of food was very good and interesting. There were medical facilities in the college and nearby also. There were many sports activities, like badminton, cricket, dance, swimming, singing, and many more.
Faculty: Teachers were very excellent and knowledgeable. They were well qualified. Exams were conducted by their own body, which were moderate in level and a little bit tougher compared to other universities. There was a limitation on passing marks, 35 and above marks were required to pass.

Dissatisfied due to noise/roads/being in a construction zone.
Placements: Good placement opportunities are available. One of my friend got placed with a package of 5.5 LPA, while other students got up to 13.8 LPA. You can get placed in different roles like Software Engineer, Data Analytics, etc. Some students from our previous batch got placed in big companies like Microsoft, Infosys etc.
Infrastructure: The college is still under construction and studying in a building which is under construction since past 3 years is not a good experience. The noise of the drill machine is annoying. The Hostel fee is 1.85 lakhs per annum which is quite expensive according to the facilities. Food available in the hostel is not good. Those who are planning to join this college should stay in a flat instead of hostel as per my suggestion.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive and environment is good. First semester is tough especially Mathematics. We had Mathematics up to 3rd Semester. You need to get good marks in the first 3 semesters else it becomes difficult to get good marks/grade later on.

If you are willing to pursue your M.Tech in transportation, I will suggest this institute.
Placements: Ours is the first batch of M.Tech transportation, so we are not sure about placements. Few of our batchmates got internships in reputed companies related to traffic engineering and signal design and also in laboratories for testing solutions.
Infrastructure: The civil engineering department has different testing laboratories for every particular subject. The laboratories include all the required machinery and instruments for testing.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and intelligent. All the faculty members are knowledgeable and very helpful. Various field visits are arranged as per the requirement, which helps students to understand the actual practical concept, excluding the book knowledge.

I have a wonderful experience. It is a great college for learning.
Placements: The current coronavirus outbreak and the response have complicated things for students across the globe. Taking admission during the pandemic and being not able to visit the campus is a great loss. I heard a lot from my friends about the college, and the placement record was one of the reasons for the admission into this college. Almost 70-80% of the students got placed, with the highest salary package of 8 LPA. However, our college assures 100% placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is one of the best things about the college. It is 125 acres and lush green campus. It has a well-equipped digital library with an internet facility and well-versed laboratories. It has an excellent infrastructure for a quality learning experience. Hostels are well-furnished with free Wi-Fi, and laundry facilities are also provided. The quality of food is good, and proper hygiene maintenance is the top concern.
Faculty: I highly appreciate the efforts that faculty members of MIT are taking to deliver virtual lessons. They are well-versed in their field and are experts with abundant experience. Advanced software like STAAD Pro and Etabs are used to train students as per industry requirements. Apart from the syllabus, our college also conducts various workshops and seminars to make students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because the feeling of rush and satisfaction, which structural engineers with their designs taking the shape of reality is above everything. We create record-breaking structures, and our work has an everlasting impact.

MIT ADT is an excellent college with high quality of teaching.
Placements: Placements are good in our college. Around 75%- 80% of the students got placed from our course with the highest salary package of almost 20 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. The salary package may depend on companies. The top role offered in our course is transportation planner.
Infrastructure: Every department has its own separate classroom, which is well furnished. Our college infrastructure is great and up to date, with cutting-edge technologies and research equipment aiding students to pursue their interests. Wi-Fi is great with great speed and has unlimited access.
Faculty: The teaching quality is very high here. Teachers are very polite and much friendly with their students. They try to solve the problems and difficulties of students at any time. There are highly knowledgeable teachers from top institutions like IITs and NITs. The course curriculum is also updated as per the latest subjects.
Other: I am interested in a road network, planning and design of the road, so I chose transportation engineering. Students are disciplined and well-mannered. The campus connectivity is good.
