Candidates are required to follow the steps given below to get admission to NIFT Srinagar:
1. Candidates must take the NIFT Entrance Exam in order to be admitted to NIFT Srinagar.

“SARTHAK” NIFT Financial Assistance Scheme - To provide financial assistance to meritorious, needy and deserving students, belonging to the economically weaker sections of society.
It will be applicable to all the regular students of NIFT fulfilling prescribed criteria -
Under this Scheme financial Assistance to undergraduate students shall be provided as follows -
A) Candidates whose Parental Income ceiling per annum is Upto Rs. 1.5 Lakhs will be awarded with 100% of the Tuition Fee as Financial Assistance.
B) Candidates whose Parental Income ceiling per annum is Above Rs. 1.5 Lakhs upto Rs. 2.5 Lakhs will be awarded with 75% of the Tuition Fee as Financial Assistance.
C) Candidates whose Parental Income ceiling per annum is Above Rs. 2.5 Lakhs upto Rs. 4.0 Lakhs will be awarded with 50% of the Tuition Fee as Financial Assistance.
