The best college for B.Des in Textile Designing.

Placements: As a current student pursuing a B. Des in Textile Design at NIFT Kolkata, I can provide insights into the placement scenario. Approximately 80% of students from our course were successfully placed with reputable companies. The highest package offered was around 12 lacs per annum, while the lowest package stood at 4.5 lacs per annum. The average package offered was around 6.5 lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies include FabIndia, Raymond, Arvind Mills, and Welspun.

Infrastructure: NIFT Kolkata boasts excellent infrastructure for textile design students. Nift Kolkata is good for Textile design course and I am happy with it.

Placements: Nift Kolkata is renowned for its textile design program, offering excellent placement opportunities with a success rate of over 90%. Additionally, all students in our department are guaranteed an internship opportunity.

Infrastructure: The college boasts excellent infrastructure, with top-notch facilities such as quality hostels and a well-stocked library. College builds career .

Placements: 80% students were placed in my course. The highest package offered in my course is 11 LPA, Average package is 7-8 LPA, and the lowest package is 4.5 LPA. 20-30% students got internship from our course. Top recruiting companies are Hoffman, Zara, Arvind, Raymonds, Das style, Toretto etc. Top roles offered are as Garment Construction, Stylist, Graphic Design, Designer.

Infrastructure: In our college has Wi-Fi facilities, modern technology related classroom, sick room, healthy food, well equipment lab, new trending journal and magazine collection in library, Hostel for students, and sports and game arranged for students. Classroom has projector to understand theory class.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and also knowledgeable, some teachers are doing Ph.D. also. This course curriculum is relevant it make the students for industry type. Semester exams are not too much difficult it is moderate for students. 90% students were passed easily.

Other: I'm passionate in this subject that's why I chose this course. College arranged fashion events, fest, connectivity. College provide Scholarship for merit students. Extracurricular Activities also there for students.

Placements: NIFT Kolkata is the best choice for a textile design course because 90% of students secure placements. The course offers a package of 12 LPA, with an average package of 8.5 LPA. In our department, all students secure internships, and prominent companies like Raymond, Welspun, etc., actively recruit from our program.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is excellent, providing all types of facilities. All classrooms are equipped with AC, and the entire college area is Wi-Fi enabled. I am currently visiting this college, which is, in my opinion, the best college in Kolkata.

Placements: This course is famous because the college gives almost 85% placement support and recently they broke their record and gave 100% placements in 2023. The highest package last year was 30 LPA and the lowest package was 3 LPA. Top companies like Arvind, Raymond, etc. In this college, internship facilities are available but it is better to get a job than a job. The role offered are in weaving, Sprint design, embroidery, etc.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very good. They regularly solve the problem. The Wi-Fi speed is very good. Classrooms are LAN connected, and projectors are connected. Also, the computers are LAN-connected. All lab rooms are AC. The library is online and both are available. The college has a hostel facility and a food court inside. Sports and games are arranged per year.

Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful and provide us with all types of guidance to complete our assignment. Our department has experienced professors, and the same professor achieved the award. They are very knowledgeable. The exam can be challenging but it is definitely not difficult. Almost 99% of students are placed.

In my opinion, NIFT is the best college in Kolkata.

Placements: This course is famous because the college has an 85–100% placement record and recently they broke their record in 2023. The highest package was INR 20 LPA and the lowest package last year was INR 3 LPA. Internship facilities are available, but at low salaries, it is better to get a job. Compare an internship with top companies like Arvind, Raymond and many more. The role offered was to create fabric designs and patterns for woven, kritted and printed materials for clothes.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very good. The Wi-Fi speed is good. Also, the computers are LAN-connected, and the classrooms are also LAN- and projector-connected. All the lab rooms have AC. Library features are available online and offline. The college has a hostel facility and food court inside the college and the medical facilities are very helpful. Sports and games are arranged per year.

Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful and provide us with all types of guidance and processes to complete our assignment. Our department has experienced professors; some of them are gold medalists. They are very knowledgeable. 99% of the students passed.

Other: This course can allow me to develop my skills while also providing me with opportunities to receive accreditation and pursue my passion. I believe this course could give me a great head start in my career, providing me with opportunities in the future. Set goals for the course and provide clear details and instructions. Our college organizes a festival every year, and scholarships are available for meritorious students.

The worst sanitation in bathrooms.

Placements: Overall placements are average. I am facing a serious communication problem because most of the students are non-Bengal. They are not friendly. Our course started 2-3 months ago so I do not know about the placements, but I know that they provide very good placements and the placement percentage is 75% or above like that.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good but the bathrooms are not clean. The worst sanitation during rain it creates a food on the campus and the bathrooms are very dirty. I feel very comfortable using the toilets and bathrooms. Wi-Fi is good. Some classrooms are still old type. Food is hygienic in the canteen.

Faculty: The only good thing is faculty members. Otherwise, the infrastructure is very bad. They help us with textbooks, pdf notes and reference books. They apply more practical things compared to theoretical things. Students are preparing themselves very well. Cultural the college is quite good.

Other: Seniors are very helpful.
