College is decent. You can go for it if you are really passionate about designing.

Placements: Accessory Design is doing quite well than other departments, especially for Jewellery Design people. The placements are also going decent. A lot of brands come for college placements as well. We have got labs too. The lab assistants are very good and helpful as well.

Infrastructure: Not so good, hostels are ***. The food is bad, the facilities are poor, you have to share rooms and you only get hostels in the first year, after that it's all luck-based. The infrastructure is also very average, I won't recommend it at all. If you have other options, don't opt for it.

Faculty: Like every other college, you will have to learn things on your own, the college only helps in networking. Some professors are very good, and some are very lenient. They will just come, read the PDF, and go back. You have to learn things and upgrade your skills.

Other: Events are very few but happen from time to time. The only good fest is Spectrum, which happens once a year.

NIFT has the best facility for making a career in fashion design.

Placements: Almost 100% of placement is offered to students. The average package is from INR 71k to 3.6 Lacs per annum. Companies like Arvind, ZARA, and skybags, have hire from NIFT. Companies visit the campus to hire students directly. Students participate in placement drives organized outside the campus.
