Dissatisfied by the infrastructure, Cse have good placement, but campus life is poor.
Placements: Placements here at NIT Uttarakhand are quite good for CSE and ECE. Even the highest package recently was received by an ECE student. The overall package is 18-20 LPA for CSE companies. Companies like Accenture and Cognizant visit the campus. Also, NVIDIA and Intel , companies like Microsoft and Google, are rare, but overall placement is good for CSE and ECE. Other branches have a low placement rate.
Infrastructure: There is no permanent campus of this college. Yes, there is one main building which has a mess boys hostel and classrooms which we call lecture halls. There is no AC , even the library is not maintained properly. There is no sports facility here. Even the school grounds are bigger. The canteen is not available and the Wi-Fi is average.
Faculty: Teachers here are well qualified, and some of them are helpful, but they burden you with a lot of assignments, tests, and the semester exams can be difficult based on your studies. The curriculum is totally irrelevant here cse student don't have any course related to cs in the first semester, so most of the things you have to do by yourself.
Other: I chose this college because of the CSE branch; otherwise, a private college would be better than this college. The festivals here are like school functions; faculty interferes too much in events; even budget approval is a big thing here .

If you love mountains, valleys and spritual temples you should take it.
Placements: In Electronics and Communication its around 70-80% get placed who were eligible. Highest package is 25lakh this and overall its around 40-50lakh. Top recruiting companies are Google, amazon, Accenture, Optym, Global Foundries, Samsung E&A, Samsung R&D, BEL, etc. Associate Knowledge person, Semiconductor Engineer, Software Engineer SDE-1
Infrastructure: Wifi and lan connectivity is very fast around (10-40Mb/s). Labs are good enough and equipped with latest machinery, devices and latest version software for RTL design ,TCAD and Cadence. Latest computers with high speed processors. Classrooms are small but equipped with AC, fans and Projectors. Hostels are modern design newly build with 24/7 high speed lan, hot water and modern almiras. Each room have separate balcony. Mess food is average not that good. Medicals facility is fair. Games are average. There is only one canteen.
Faculty: The teachers are very friendly in nature. Faculties are minimum top IIT post graduate most are from IIT Roorkee. Teaching quality is above standards. Projects are given by almost every faculty in each year. Students are made industry ready like for VLSI some additional post graduate courses are personally tough in lab sessions according to the student interests. The semester exams are difficult but according teachers taught at that level also. Passing percent is recently changed it is minimum 45marks should be there for each subject from 100.
Other: Semiconductor is future of India and there will be a job boom in this engineering branch. Electronics in Nit Uttarakhand from my side is better than any other branch if you want to get in core company and higher studies. This year Cliffesto announced its fest will be organized every but after Corona this year it is heading. Sarman Foundation will be there from 2nd year students whose family income is less than 1lakh and who fell into top 10 of the college.

Pros and cons of taking admission in NIT Uttarakhand.
Placements: More than 50 percent of students were placed each year. The highest package is 24 lakhs per annum and the lowest package is 10 lakhs per annum. Samsung, BEL. I don't know much about the internship statistics. Right now, I am in the 2nd year, 3rd semester. I also don't know about the roles offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department is very good; all things are available. There is Wi-Fi availability. The infrastructure of our college is not so good because we are living in a temporary campus and our permanent campus is still under construction. Mess food is average. There is no canteen inside the college. Medical facilities are good and sports and games are also good.
Faculty: Faculty members are top-notch in my department; all have done their PhDs from IITs. All are very knowledgeable and their teaching style is very good. They are preparing us for the GATE level test. The course curriculum is also very relevant. The semester exams are a bit difficult because each month there will be an exam and in mid-semester, we need to give 2 to 3 papers in a day. Except for 5 to 6 students, no one passes.
Other: When I cleared JEE and after my Jossa counseling, I got Electronics and Communication Engineering. At first, I wanted CSE, but after knowing this branch and its future outcome, I loved this course. My interest started developing in this field. The best thing is real-world applications like making circuits on the breadboard and making circuits on the FPGA board with the help of Verilog. Events are happening from time to time, but fests are not happening at a good level. It's not a crowded place, but that is the benefit of this college. This campus is situated in Uttarakhand, so the surroundings are very beautiful. Extracurricular activities also happen from time to time.

College doesn't have its own infrastructure, but it has good academics and bad mess food.
Placements: I am a CSE student, and almost 90% of the students got placements. The average package in CSE is 12-13 lakhs per annum, and the lowest average package is somewhere around 8 lakhs per annum. I don't know which companies the students are placed in, but companies quite often visit the college.
Infrastructure: The faculties are good and younger in age. The infrastructure is under construction. Students are quite competitive. Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are quite good. The library isn't that good; it's very small. The canteen is also unsatisfactory and small in size, and nowadays, it's not in operation as well.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable, and qualified, and most importantly, they are very friendly. Every month, there are mid-term exams; in total, there are two mid-term exams and one final exam in one semester, along with lab evaluations. Semester exams are of mid to high levels.
Other: Infrastructure needs to be improved.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the college.
Placements: Approx. 60 to 70 percent of students got placed last year in the civil engineering branch and this ratio is the same as for previous years also. 6 to 10 lakh per annum is the range of the package that is offered every year. Top recruiting companies are TCS and L&T. There is a very low percentage of getting an internship in civil engineering.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in each hostel and labs are small but overall well structured. The same is true for the classroom and there is no good library. The quality of hostels is better, but food quality can be changed by some efforts. No canteen is there. Medical facility is average. Sports and games are very few.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and perfect in their skills or subjects, so overall it is good. Semester exams are good enough. Passing percentage is 90 percent. Overall, there is a good pattern of exams.

The college infrastructure is not good, but professors are good and helpful.
Placements: Only a few students are placed. The highest package is 20 LPA, and the lowest is 60 K. Samsung, Infosys, Accenture, Microsoft, etc., are some of the recruiting companies. Till now, only one person got an internship, and that was in Accenture. Roles offered include data scientist, ethical hacking, software developer, AI, and ML, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good; it is on lease, and only a small area is provided. Wi-Fi is in good condition, labs are also good, but the library is not that great, and classrooms are average. There is no canteen in our college, and the hostel is good, but the mess food is not good. Sports and games are available here.
Faculty: In our department, only three assistant professors are present; the rest are trainee teachers. Semester examinations are different and are not too hard to pass, but scoring a good CGPA is a little bit harder, with a passing percentage of about 96%. The courses are curriculum-related and prepare the students for the industry.
