- The JAC Delhi 2026 round 3 seat allotment result for admission to the BE/BTech and BArch courses will be announced on Jul 7, 2026. Students can also withdraw from the admission process until Jul 12, 2026. The Round-3 result will be declared on Jul 7, 2026. In Round-1, CSE (AI), Computer Engineering and CSE Data Science were the top 3 competitive specialisations with the closing ranks of 2943, 3438 and 4440, respectively.
- The last date to submit application at CMAC portal is Jul 8, 2026 for MBA IEV programme. The university will release the list of selected candidates for case study and personal interview on Jul 13, 2026.
- The UCEED 2026 Round 5 seat allotment results for admission to the BDes course will be out on Jul 9, 2026.

If your Class 12 marks were only 60%, it is very difficult to get into NSIT for a B.Tech programme unless you are in one of the reserved categories.
For B.Tech admission, NSIT has very high cut-offs based on JEE Main rankings.Cutoffs for General category students typically fall below rank 2000, requiring a JEE Main score of 99+ percentile.
The cut-off ranks for reserved SC, ST, and OBC categories are less than 10,000, necessitating a 95+ percentile.
Therefore, earning 60% on your 12th board exam is insufficient. You need to have a very high JEE Main rank.
The eligibility requirements of 60% are merely the minimum. The 12th grade is not directly taken into account for admission by NSIT.To have a chance in the General category with 60% in the 12th grade, you would need a JEE Main rank below 500.

If we talk about the reviews, DTU is better than NSIT. Students have shown great interest in the DTU placements and quality of education over the years. Whereas, NSIT is also gaining popularity among the students. Which is better or best depends on the student's preference.Â

With 98.28 percentile in JEE first attempt, you can get admission branches, such as ECE, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering in DTU, NSUT, IITD, and NIT Delhi. Top branches, such as CSE are difficult to get in these top universities and institutes. The cutoff also depends on the student's category.
