NICC 2026 syllabus - The National Institute of Creative Communication (NICC) is responsible for drafting the NICC 2026 syllabus.

The syllabi will be designed separately for the UG and PG design courses. The syllabus will be released online at the admission portal of the institute. NICC 2026 syllabus will include the subject-wise topics from which questions will be asked in the design entrance exam.

Important topics that candidates need to prepare for the NICC 2026 entrance exam include topics like Visualisation, Observational, perceptual & reasoning abilities, Drawing, and Ideation. Candidates were supposed to start their preparation months before the exam. It is recommended that the candidate carefully go through the NICC 2026 syllabus and also refer to the updated exam pattern.

Questions in the interview round are typically based on a candidate’s

• Understanding of the structure and operational framework of NICC

• Understanding of the programs offered at NICC

Portfolio Evaluation Round

For UG candidates: The portfolio of candidates applying for UG courses should consist of work such as drawings, paintings, sketches (digital or hand-made), collages, sculpture, design concepts, photographs, animation, hand-crafted objects, design models, computer artwork, web presentations, videos, scripts, articles, poems, and so on.

For PG candidates: The portfolio of candidates applying for PG courses should mainly consist of work that is relevant to the integrated design program they have applied for. However, candidates can also include some other creative work just as candidates applying for UG courses.
