My college review: Absolutely satisfied because of good placements and faculty members.

Placements: I am from the 2026 passing-out batch. I am from the civil engineering branch. Now in my batch, placements are not started yet, but from last year's batch, 80 out of 58 students got placed and others have their different plans like higher studies and government exam preparation. In my course, the highest package is 14 LPA. The average package is 7.5 LPA. The lowest package is 4 LPA. Top recruiters are Everest, JSW, KPMG, Tata Projects, Godrej, Mahindra Lifespaces, and many more. 70 to 75% of students got internships.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the whole college is good especially the civil department infrastructure is good. It is a 2-floor building. It consists of spacious classrooms and large labs for various civil subjects. Wi-Fi facility is there. In my college, there is a common library which has a large section in the civil department. The college does not provide a hostel facility directly but it is type with other hostels.

Faculty: All staff members are well-qualified. 90% of the faculty are Ph.D. qualified. All faculty members are very helpful. They have their connection with industries. The teaching quality is the best. The course curriculum and site visits are specifically designed to make students industry-ready. The difficulty level of the semester exam is medium to hard.

Other: I have an interest in civil engineering, so I chose this course as my B.Tech degree. Gandharwa is the technocultural event of my college.

Placements: The need for percentage is according to the stream or field you choose like Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science require more marks in MHT CET, but Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering require comparatively fewer marks. The highest package, according to my knowledge, is 32 Lacs from the Aids department, and the lowest is 4.5 Lacs. Top recruitment companies are Tata Motors, IPAC, and L&T.

Infrastructure: There is no official hostel at Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology, but around the college, there are many private hostels, PGs, and flats available. The sports room is good, and all the equipment is in good condition, but there is no sufficient ground for sports like football and cricket. Wi-Fi is available in every department building, and it's free to use for students. The speed is good, and there are no restrictions.

Faculty: Honestly, I don't know about other faculties, but the Civil Engineering department faculty is very supportive. They encourage students to explore new things, not only in study but also in sports and other activities. They all have master's degrees in their respective fields from IITs and NITs.

Other: I am from the Civil Engineering department. I chose this field because there are many opportunities, such as: I can do a government job because, as we know, there are a lot of vacancies for civil engineers when compared to other departments. I can join private builders, contractors, or private jobs. I can start my own company or consultancy related to construction.

The truth of the college.

Placements: The core branches of the college rarely get placements. In the civil branch, only one company is part of the placement. However, IT branches such as CS, AIDS, AIML, etc. have a very high placement rate and up to 70% of students get placed through campus placements.

Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi in every building, and the library is very well equipped. We can find almost every book that you require in relation to the course that we have opted for. The classrooms are well ventilated and spacious, providing a good learning experience.

Faculty: The teachers that teach at this college are very well qualified and quite knowledgeable. They are keen to help students with their doubts regarding their subjects. The course curriculum is relevant for today's date as advanced techniques used in industries are also taught. The level of difficulty of the examinations is medium.

My opinion about Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology.

Placements: Placements at Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology, Pune, are good, especially for civil engineering, compared to many reputed colleges in Pune. The average package is approximately 3 LPA for civil, and the overall average package is 6 LPA to 7 LPA. It ranges from 2.5 LPA to 16 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology, Pune, is good. The department has facilities such as labs, classrooms, and also Wi-Fi facility. There is a common library in the college, which is big enough and has a large variety of books. The hostel facilities are okay, or can be said average.

Faculty: The faculty at VIIT is very experienced and qualified. The quality of teaching is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant and also helps students to be industry-ready. The semester exams are not that hard. It is easy to clear with minimum study.

Other: The course choice is due to interest. Everything is up to mark, or needs slight improvement. The events are excellent.

Absolutely good institute, specially for computer Science and IT branch.

Placements: Placements for the civil department are very disappointing. Hardly 3 to 4 companies have come for campus placements for the civil department, and they are offering less than a 3 LPA package. The only companies that came are Accenture, Shapoorji, and Patil Construction. Roles given by companies include site engineer, cost engineer, and material testing.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good, and there are no compromises in facilities. There is a special Civil CAD lab in the Civil department, a Strength of Materials lab, a Survey lab, and an Environmental Engineering lab. All labs are well-equipped with modern equipment. The department building has high-speed Wi-Fi for technical purposes and internet use. Mess food is very unappetizing, and the hostel also has average facilities. There is a small sports room for indoor games and a medium-sized ground for outdoor games.

Faculty: The course is excellent, and teachers are enthusiastic. Faculty members are very knowledgeable, and they always behave very professionally. Faculty members have very good relations with industries, and some of them have worked in MNCs as well. Also, there is the addition of various topics that are necessary for placement. Passing exams is not challenging at all because of the combined passing of internal and written exams.

Other: I chose this course because of my geniue interest in civil engineering field. I am very passionate about innovation and learning new things and I am planning to go for Masters degree abroad. Things should be improved in placements. College arrange annual fest for students which includes technical and social, cultural activities.
