NIT Goa MTech Eligibility & Highlights 2026
NIT Goa offers MTech at the PG level for two years. The Institute offers respective course in full-time mode on the basis of minimum aggregate in BTech and valid scores of accepted entrance exams. General/ OBC/ EWS category candidates must secure 60% aggregate, whereas, SC/ ST/ PwD category candidates must secure 55% aggregate. For final admission, candidates must qualify GATE and CCMT counselling.NIT Goa offers 3 specialisations in MTech, Computer Science & Engineering, VLSI Design, and Power Electronics & Power Systems.

The components included in the NIT Goa fee structure are tuition fee, admission fee, library fee, student activities fee, etc. There is a refundable security deposit of INR 4,000 as well. NIT Goa MTech fee can be revised from time to time based on guidelines from Ministry of Education. The GATE registrations 2026 are ongoing. The exam dates have been announced. The GATE 2026 registration last date is September 28 (without late fees) and October 9 (with late fees).

The seat allotment for MTech course is done through CCMT Counselling. This counselling body releases cutoff till all the seats are filled in the course. After seat allotment, candidates can get document verification done and pay the required fee amount. Its admission fee is INR 1,000. However, the candidates may have to pay the first semester fee as well after allotment.
