Overall, satisfied with the infrastructure, faculty, placements, but labs needs to be improved.

Placements: The placements were not very good for M.Tech students, but after getting status of IIT, placement improved a lot. Approximately 50% to 60% of the students got placed in various colleges, coaching institutes and companies. The highest salary package is 10 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA, and the minimum of approximately 4 LPA salary has been offered. The job roles offered are like an assistant professor, PG engineers trainee, lecturer in coaching institutes etc. We have a placement cell and also one placement representative from each branch, here TNP is very efficient.

Infrastructure: The amenities like labs, a library is fully available with Wi-Fi facility, and hostels are LAN connected. There is a health centre for medical facilities for students and college staff. There is a student activity centre (SAC) for games and sports, we have one upper ground, and lower ground (stadium), volleyball ground and basketball ground. The quality of the lab is not up to the level compared to other IIT colleges. There are ten hostels in total, 7 for boys and rest for girls. The food available in the canteen is not very good, but food in hostel canteen is pretty good. I didn't face any infrastructure related issue in my tenure.

Faculty: The teachers are very qualified and knowledgeable, but some teachers are helpful, there are only very few who are not. We have around 308 members of academic staff, with 7455 total students strength, out of them, 3269 are UG students, and the other 2537 are PG students and 1649 are doctoral students. I didn't get any industrial exposure in this college, and the course curriculum is beneficial.

Other: Various events are happening throughout the year like workshops, seminar, technical events etc. Basant and Srijan are the two annual fests. The campus is surrounded by a market, and hence the connectivity is very good. About scholarships, if you are eligible, then you will get it for sure.
