NIT Kurukshetra College Review.
Placements: Mechanical engineering at NIT Kurukshetra has good placements as well. Around 86% of students get placed. The average package is 9 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the highest reaches 18 LPA. Top companies like Tata, Hero Motors, and Mahindra visit the campus. Around 80% of students also get internships in core companies.
Infrastructure: The department provides Wi-Fi, and the labs are well-maintained. The classrooms are spacious, and the library has an excellent collection. The hostels are generally good and kept clean, but the food in the mess and food street is just average. There are basic medical facilities and plenty of sports and recreation options too, so you won't really feel bored.
Faculty: The faculty, staff, and teachers play a very important role in helping students learn. They are not just helpful but very supportive, and they try their best to provide a good education. Their teaching style prepares students well for industry needs. Overall, the faculty members are good and approachable.

NIT KURUKSHETRA - My 4 years of journey.
Placements: There is a strength of 120 students in CSE in B.Teach. Currently, the median package is going on 21-22 LPA. Placement of CSE is at the top level as compared to all other branches. An internship is also good. You can crack placement/ internship off-campus ( I mean, there is a huge scope. Many students crack Google, Microsoft off-campus). Placement as an NIT is good.
Infrastructure: Hostel rooms are good if you are adjustable until you are living in the H6 hostel. Washing Machines are available. Laundry man is available, but he is costly. Bring your iron also. Table tennis, chess, volleyball, badminton, cricket. TV screens are available in each hostel. In the seniors' hostel, a gym is also available. Talking about messy food, it is like okay. H3 mess food is good (best). The rest of us have to survive like you. No Wi-Fi only Lawns connection.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and friendly. Examination criteria are a little bit too strict, like two mid seem serious? The rest of the curriculum is excellent. All teachers will clear your doubts. You can take extra classes from them. Your solo time. Is cheating possible in exams?
Other: I had chosen this from all my available options because of the internship opportunities. We can do an internship from here from the 2nd year onwards. I want campus life to be better. More fests and more famous personalities come to campus, and take 1 mid seems not 2. Connectivity with other College students is good. Everyone respects you when you are in NIT KKT. Scholarship scheme, you can check that on the NIT KKR official website.

College review of NIT Kurukshetra.
Placements: Placements in mechanical department are decent every year, statistically around 70 percent of students are placed. The highest and lowest might differ each year but on average, the CTC could be 7.5 LPA. Major recruiters for mechanical engineers are Tata, HUL, Maruti Suzuki, Honda, Hero, etc.
Infrastructure: All classrooms have digital boards for a better learning experience. As for hostels, the occupancy is decent for accommodating all students. Mess food is fine. Technical fests are pretty interesting, and the ambience of that is good too. All necessary facilities like hospital, etc., are accessible 24X7.
Faculty: Professors are helpful, and they are supportive towards new ideas but the encouragement is still less. There is not much scope for research but academics are good. 2 mid-semester and 1 end-semester exams are held each semester. So, it might seem too much in the beginning but it's manageable.
Other: I personally enjoy learning about machines, hence the mechanical branch. As for the course curriculum, I think it's fine, it's already evolving each year with the new batches coming. There are more interesting branches related to robotics and automation too. Fests are the loveliest part of any college. The people here are very friendly. I would say, they all love spending good time together, and they are all helpful in times of need.

It's a good college. It has all the facilities, but weather makes it difficult, though manageable.
Placements: Placements have been quite sound this year with companies like Uber, Meesho, and Make My Trip already picking up students and giving around 15 LPA for students of major branches like computer science, electronics and communication engineering as well.
Infrastructure: The availability of network services is not fulfilling even mobile network of some SIMs do not work. The hostels do not have Wi-Fi. They have LAN service which does not allow WhatsApp to run as well. The quality of food is not that great. The rotis are made from machines and are mostly raw and incredible though. The medical facilities are top-notch. Sports facilities are also maintained well. Due to the extreme heat, sometimes the ACs feel worthless.
Faculty: Most of the professors are very helpful, and they encourage students to solve doubts as well, though some faculty members face some language barriers that do not hamper their quality of teaching and providing education. The course is relevant and helpful, and contains a considerable amount of everything which also helps for placement.

The honest review of NIT Kurukshetra.
Placements: About 71% of students are placed in our course. The highest package is 51 LPA, the lowest is 5.6 LPA, and average is 14 LPA. Top companies include Amazon, Flipkart, and Meesho. Many students got internships in 3rd year on basis of their skills. The roles vary as per individual choice, some may be in embedded system i.e., hardware side while some in software technical jobs profile.
Infrastructure: All the classes are air-conditioned but some of the ACs don't work properly in our class. Our institute has a big central library which has a lot of books but as a student we don't have enough time to read those books. All the apparatus is in good condition, and performing the experiments by yourself is very enjoyable. But when the lecture is given about how to proceed and what the theory is about experiments are very boring. Hostel facilities are also decent. Sometimes mess food may not be too good. Every sports facility is present.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified when it comes to studying for the exam one night before our one and only best teacher is on YouTube. Curriculum is the same outdated one, which consists of more theory but it is still improving to engage more practical application. All brilliant minds came here after qualifying for the JEE exam so the level is decent. But to only qualify i.e., getting a passing mark is not so hard. Almost 90% get passed.

Absolutely right review of my college.
Placements: 75% of B.Tech students are placed in 2024. In CSE branch 78% of students placed. The average, median package offered is 12.68, 9LPA, and the highest package offered is 64.28LPA. The lowest package offered is 4LPA. Top recruiting companies include Microsoft, Amazon, Godrej, Meesho, and other top companies. Top roles offered are SDE and embedded system engineer. Although internship opportunities are limited, they totally depend on your skills. My branch is new, so its placement has not been done. This branch has high potential for futuristic programs. It comes between CSE and ECE.
Infrastructure: Our course infrastructure is nice. AC equipped classrooms with smart boards. All computer centers are also equipped with a LAN. There is Wi-Fi in the library, but it does not work properly. Hostel are of old style but with proper hygiene. Mess food is good, but here, chapati is not that good. It also has large grounds in the hostel with the security of Dogesh Bhai. There is a health center and sports complex with all the games.
Faculty: Teachers are mixed, some of them exhibit neutral behaviour, some are rude, and many of them are helpful. Mostly are knowledgeable with great experience from their own and other international universities, but some are Ph.D. scholars whose teaching style is not that good. The IIOT branch, as the name suggests, makes students industry ready with practical knowledge. Mid sems are of 15 marks each, and end sems are of 50 marks. Difficult level of mid sems are easy to moderate, but end sems are moderate to difficult. 90% of students get the desired marks according to their preparation.
Other: IOT includes many futuristic things like Machine Learning and Data Analytics, etc.
