A few more updates are given below:
- The MAT Dec 2025 registrations are now open. For PBT mode, the last date to register is Dec 7, 2025, and the exam is scheduled for Dec 13, 2025. Moreover, for CBT mode, the registration closes on Dec 15, 2025, and the exam date is Dec 21, 2025.
- The CAT 2025 exam for admission to MBA/PGDM courses is scheduled to be conducted on Nov 30, 2025.
- The NIMCET 2026 application process for admission to the MCA course is projected to commence in March 2026.
- The CMAT 2026 registration has started for admission to the MBA, PGDM, and MMS courses. The deadline for registration is Nov 17, 2025, and the exam date is yet to be released.
- The CSAB Special Counselling 2025 Round 3 has concluded with the announcement of the seat allotment results for admission to BE/BTech courses.
- The CCMN 2025 counselling process for admission to MSc/MSc (Tech) courses has now ended with the release of the National Spot Round seat allotment results.
- The GATE 2026 registrations are now over for admission to Ph.D. and ME/Mtech course. The GATE 2026 exam will be conducted on Feb 7, Feb 8, Feb 14, and Feb 15, 2026.

NIT Kurukshetra campus spreads over 300 acres. It has been divided into three functional sectors: the instructional sector, the residential sector for the employees, and the residential sector for the students (hostels). Students can find lodging in hostels because they are residential institutions. The MTech students are accommodated in PG hostels. NIT Kurukshetra has a very spacious library with a good collection of documents, including text and reference books, video cassettes, CD-ROMs, and many print and online journals and books. The infrastructure facilities include eight blocks and a workshop. Each block has offices for the staff, lecture halls, tutorial rooms, and various laboratories.
Admission to the BTech CSE course at NIT Kurukshetra is done through JEE Main, which is conducted by NTA every year in two sessions. With this low rank frankly speaking it's not possible to get admission in any branch of BTech in NIT Kurukshetra. When I went through previous results of NIT on their official Website I found that the closing rank in any branch was around 6000 in all disciplines. But you can try with OS categorises

You can get CSE in GFTI as per the JoSSA counselling cutoff last year. You cannot get any branch, like CSE, ECE in NIT at this rank.
