- The MAT 2026 May session registrations have started for admission to the MBA course. For the PBT mode, the registration deadline is May 25, 2026, with the exam scheduled for May 31, 2026. For the CBT mode, the last date to register is Jun 8, 2026, for the exam taking place on Jun 14, 2026.
- The CAT 2026 registration is expected to start in the Aug, 2026 for admission to the MBA course.
- The NIMCET 2026 application process is now over for admission to the MCA course. The NIMCET exam 2026 will be held tentatively on Jun 6, 2026.
- The GATE CCMT 2026 counselling registration for admission to the MTech course is ongoing, with the last date for the same being Jun 5, 2026.
- The JEE Main 2026 session 2 result has been announced on the official website for admission to the BTech, BArch and BPlan courses.

NIT Kurukshetra BTech admission is based on the entrance exam. Candidates who want admission must first meet the basic criteria for eligibility and then take the entrance exam. NIT Kurukshetra BTech admissions are based on JEE Main scores, followed by JoSAA counselling. Candidates must secure a 90% or above percentile to get admission to BTech courses offered by NIT Kurukshetra. The basic eligibility criteria to get admission to NIT Kurukshetra is to pass Class 12 with a 75% aggregate in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology or Technical Vocational Subject.
NIT Kurukshetra gives BTech and MTech programmes, as well as MBA, MCA, and PhD programmes across Engineering, Sciences and Humanities and Social Sciences streams. The exam-conducting authority (IIT Roorkee) will decide the GATE cutoff 2025. It is conducted across the country jointly by IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, IIT Roorkee, and the Indian Institute for Science, Bangalore (IISC Bangalore), on a rotational basis on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB-GATE), Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource & Development (MHRD), Government of India. No, students can not get direct admissions to BTech courses at NIT Kurukshetra. For BTech course students need valid JEE Main score. Students are allotted seats through JoSAA Counselling.
