Our college is the best and has great value for money. It is an affordable college.

Placements: Almost 80% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered for our course is 21 LPA. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. The top recruiting company is Tata Motors. About 30% of students got internships from our course.

Infrastructure: The quality of the food in our hostel is not above average. There are 3 canteens in our hostel, but they keep only some general snakes in their canteens. There are no medical facilities inside the campus. Our college provides a bus and an ambulance, which are ready to take patients immediately to a nearby hospital. Sports and games facilities are very good.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They qualified from top institutes like IITs and NITs. They are much knowledgeable. Their teaching style is average. Our course is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are a little bit difficult.

Other: I opted for this course because I like physics mechanics.

There were good placements in 2021 and really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Microsoft has offered the highest salary package of 44 LPA in CSE. Samsung has offered a salary package of 14 LPA in electrical. TCS and L&T are top recruiters here. In NIT Manipur, in 2021, the average salary package offered was 9 LPA. It is a decent amount. It is a government institute, so you can consider this because it got a tag of NIT.

Infrastructure: There is high-speed internet here. There is a good library, which has 24,000 books. There is a good computer lab. The hostel has both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. The campus has its own bank.

Faculty: It is not very difficult to score marks in mid-semester and end-semester exams. About 10 marks are allotted to students, while 10 marks for the exam how they write. About 10 marks are allotted for viva. Teachers here are very good, and they all are PhD holders from NITs or IITs. They are very supportive.

Other: NIT Manipur has conducted a fest named Ourgi. The highest salary package offered in 2021 was 44 LPA. Our institute also provides scholarships like the national scholarship portal and many others.

Life at NIT, Manipur- good , bad or worse- A review.

Placements: The students have to go for other NITS for placements. Some of the companies recruit the students from the college itself, but the number of students selected is very few. Apptitute and technical tests up to some extent are done in college. Civil students struggle for good placements, but the records of placements is satisfactory.

Infrastructure: Frankly, this college lacks good infrastructure. There is good security no doubt, but the classes are taken on temporary arrangements which the college has made. There are two campuses till this date, but very soon they are going to combine both campuses. There are playgrounds but are not satisfying.

Faculty: The faculty is not so good, but they okay. The college has few faculty from other states rather than Manipur. But this college needs good faculty who are not just assistant professors. There is need of some good lab assistant as well who can make students work hard.

Other: One can join this college for the namesake and the reputation it has but not for good studies and adventurous college life. Life in this college is not so good. Students miss home and homemade food. But yes, one can have more fun when compared to other collages as there are fewer restrictions.

The institute is growing. Yet, the placement percentage is above average and good infrastructure.

Placements: The institute is still growing and despite all this, it is giving good placement packages to its students. The average package is around 6 lakhs. 7 to 8 lakh is the maximum package offered to its students. The college has a good placement cell and proper facilities to facilitate placement procedures and attract more companies to offer jobs to its students. Various companies like Capgemini, Wipro, LnT, TCS and many more are coming.

Infrastructure: The institute has good classrooms with proper facilities. They all have Wi-Fi installed and are equipped with proper projectors to make the things clear. There are also labs for different streams as far as the mechanical branch is concerned. The institute has many sophisticated labs equipped with heavy machines like for tension test, brinnel hardness test, lathe operations, etc. The food quality is awesome and hostels are quite spacious and comfortable. The institute is a baby institute but it is growing in two folds and everyone knows the importance of a degree from an NIT.

Faculty: The teachers are highly knowledgeable and all have done their PhDs from IITs and other renowned institutes. The teaching methods include proper basics and with the help of online classes, the students are made to clear their concepts. The student to faculty ratio is acceptable and moreover, the institute has jumped in its overall ranking to 87th in all India ranking, 15th in NITs' ranking and 2nd in the north east in MHRD ranking of 2017.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not good. Our college has good environment. It has a good ground. The hostel does not provide good food. The hostel is not good.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful in studies. They teach us understandably. The semester exams are conducted strictly. The pass percentage is 40%. Exam papers are very difficult. There are around 8 invigilators in the exam hall.

Other: Games are held every year in our college. It is a very good college in terms of education.
