It is a good college. Teachers are good. But if you love CS then it's good.
Placements: Our college has good placement but internship is so bad. You need to put your efforts that's all. You need to work if you don't put your time here. If you put 100% your efforts, then no one can stop you in life. I think this is the best college in Kolkata in the private sector and that's it.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi doesn't work anytime. Labs, classroom, and library are too good. Overall, you can feel good here. I think if someone doesn't ask you donation, then it's the best college. I think you can consider it as a future college.
Faculty: All teachers are good. Some teachers even speak Hindi, English, and Bengali. They are so talented but few teachers are not good. Pass percentage is 5%. I think you don't think about the teacher, just put your efforts. You can get marks easily and learn coding also as a side job.
Other: Hackathon is too good.

College has qualified teachers who can guide students. The infrastructure is really good.
Placements: There are several students from several states who take admission to this college. The highest package offered this year (2025) is 42 LPA from the CSE department. Top recruiting company is Accenture, mainly for the CSE department as well as others. Students can get internships easily.
Infrastructure: High-speed Wi-Fi is available at the college. The classroom and library are neat and clean, as well as the labs are too good. There is a big playground for outdoor games and also facilities for indoor games. The cafeteria is too good and students can also chill out there.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Before every semester college take two mock tests to improve the knowledge of students. It is really helpful for us. Semester exams are not that difficult, just you have to concentrate on the class lectures and real properly, you can easily get a good score.
Other: I chose B.Tech in computer science and engineering course. I like this course so much, and I wish that I could improve myself.

NIT - Ranks among 150 best colleges in India.
Placements: Placement record is very good. Different companies like HCL, Asian Paints, L&T regularly come here to hire students. Around 50-60% students got a chance to do internship from the college. The average salary offered is 2.4 LPA. So the placement record is very good. Students are happy with their placement cell.
Infrastructure: The classrooms just wow! Fully air-conditioned and Wi-Fi enabled. Labs are very well managed. Sports & medical facilities are quite good. Hostel rooms are very clean. The food quality of the canteen is poor. But we did not face any infrastructure related issues.
Faculty: The course curriculum is according to WBUT syllabus. Faculty members are well educated and experienced. They help us every time. Their teaching method is very good. Faculty-student ratio is 1:15. The course curriculum is very useful. We are very happy with our faculty.

Satisfied with the college.
Placements: 80 to 90 % of students were placed. Big MNCs and small IT companies come for recruitment. The students are required to score decent marks to get an internship in any company.
Infrastructure: The facilities for my course are decent. There is a canteen in which good quality food is available. Sports are also available and if you interested you can participate.
Faculty: The teachers are very qualified and their teaching ability is very good. They know how to connect with the students. We get quality of knowledge from them.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:   Is NIT Narula Institute of Technology good for B.Tech in CSE?
A:

It seems that NIT Narula Institute of Technology provides students pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) with an unequal experience. Renowned firms like Microsoft, Amazon, and Juspay come to recruit and provide competitive salary packages up to 51 LPA off-campus; the college has a respectable placement record. Concerns around disparate placement rates and students choosing to forego college internships in favor of greater prospects elsewhere are present while this is happening. The campus has a number of sports facilities, immaculate classrooms, and Wi-Fi, however the catered food's quality and quantity need to be enhanced. Although teachers emphasize completing the curriculum on time and possess knowledge, students' assessments of how consistently they are taught vary.

Q:   Can I take admission in NIT Narula Institute of Technology, without JEE in B.Tech?
A:

NIRF ranking of Narula Institute of Technology is between 200 to 250 it oscillates in this range the average placement I would say of B.Tech is good not very good if you compare with Jadavpur or NITs.  You can take admission in Narula Institute of Technology without JEE by giving WBJEE direct admission is not possible it is a government-registered college you can take admission only by appearing in WBJEE and getting a decent rank-clearing exam according to your category. you can check the required marks to get admission on Shiksha itself.
