Boys hostel should be made available for all the years.
Placements: I am Suraj Burnwal from Haldia Institute of technology B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. The placement is above average in our college and this year the highest package is of approximately 14 LPA from the AEIE batch and the average package is 4 to 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Wipro, Byjus, Haldia Petrochemical, TCS, Accenture, etc. Internship is also provided by the college to the students more or less. If you are capable you can make it.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite good or average you can say. Playgrounds are regularly maintained and the sports instruments are also well equipped. The labs are also average. Some are damaged but can be ignored. Library is quite big and there are lots of books which students require for their curriculum. The hostels are also well maintained and cleaned every week and the food is also average. There is one issue that only first year boys have access to hostels and rest outside.
Faculty: Teachers are helping nature well qualified and most of the PhD holders are very knowledgeable, but the CSE teachers are most hated by the students as this is a new subject not easy to understand. The course is curriculum relevant, and it makes the students ready for the industry. Semester exams as told by the seniors are not that hard and the students also get the question bank from the faculty to prepare.
Other: I have secured a good name and I have heard about Haldia as a good college in West Bengal. I have chosen CSE at Haldia. Most students choose CSE for better placement so my motive behind this is the same. Events are quite irregular due to the interruption of seniors, and campus life is average but better than the other private and some government colleges of West Bengal. Swami Vivekananda Scholarship is given to the students of West Bengal, and there are extracurricular activities like sports, music, media worker etc.

For a bright future, come here and also value for money.
Placements: This is a nice college. 93 per cent of students get placed here every year. If you are an average student, then you will also get a very good placement here. The highest placement is 75 LPA, and the lowest placement is 4 LPA, which is a very good overview. Top companies like Wipro, Technical companies and especially chemical companies come here and hire a large number of students.
Infrastructure: Very good greenery campus, but the weather is polluted too much. If you have any lung disease, please don't take admission, the air quality goes above 150 sometimes, otherwise, this college is too good. Wi-Fi is available in each and every hostel, the food is decent, and the quality of food is too good.
Faculty: Here, teachers give us 24-hour call support, which is very rare in colleges, and also they give 1:1 mentoring support. Semester exams were hard, but teachers will guide you. Very strong discipline and infrastructure, seniors were very good, if you behaved well.
Other: My particular course placement is too good, the teachers were just amazing. Our college is full of events, masti and especially on your birthday, teachers arrange a surprise party for you.

Best 4 years of my life and I loved it.
Placements: 80% of the students got placement. Major hiring companies are Accenture, Wipro, Cognizant, and Infosys. The highest package is 16 LPA, and the lowest is 3.36 LPA. Average salary is 4 LPA. Analytics and system engineers are the top roles. 70-80% of students got placed on campus placement, and some of them also went for higher studies.
Infrastructure: Our college has best infrastructure and course with top-notch hostel. I loved the place. There are multiple separate hostels for girls and boys. Both can enjoy their campus life on their own. There are some prohibitions on girls hostels for their safety.
Faculty: Exams are not that much tough but fully based on GATE syllabus. Faculty members are coordinating and supportive. You can ask whatever you want to ask from them. They always try to help you with any issue you face. Exams are not that hard, you can prepare for them in last month of the examination.

Great campus life with strong placements and supportive faculty members in cyber security.
Placements: 80% of students got placed in CSE (cyber security). The highest package is 18 LPA, the lowest is 3.6 LPA, and average is 6.5 LPA. Top recruiters are Amazon, TCS, Infosys, and Wipro. 70% of students got internships at TCS, IBM, and DRDO. Top roles offered are developer, analyst, and security engineer.
Infrastructure: Modern classrooms with smart boards, well-equipped computer labs, 24X7 Wi-Fi, and a rich library are available for CSE (cyber security). Hostels have clean rooms, good security, hygienic mess food, sports grounds, medical care, and a student-friendly canteen.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified, supportive, and well-versed in cyber security. The curriculum is updated and industry-relevant with practical exposure. Semester exams are moderately difficult, students who attend regularly can pass. Pass percentage is around 85-90%.
Other: I chose B.Tech in CSE (cyber security) due to my interest in ethical hacking and digital security. The best part is the hands-on learning, live projects, and lab infrastructure. Improvement is needed in industry exposure and specialized workshops. Our campus hosts tech fests, hackathons, and cultural events. Crowd is diverse and friendly. College is well-connected and offers scholarships based on merit. Extracurricular clubs and sports are active and engaging.

Balanced experienced with good campus life.
Placements: Around 70-75% of the batch got placed, especially computer science engineering and information technology. The minimum package is 4 LPA, and the highest is 12 LPA on campus. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, and few startup companies come.
Infrastructure: Hostel is good and budget-friendly. They are equipped with fast speed Wi-Fi, cool drinking water system, and camera for security purposes. The rooms are big and well-ventilated with air. Hostel has a ground for playing sports and is surrounded by trees.
Faculty: Exams are medium-level hard and you can maintain good CGPA. Teachers are good and friendly and have good command of the subjects that are in our syllabus. Many professors hold masters or Ph.D. degree in their field. The pass percentage is generally high that is 80-85%.
