Decent for placements and poor for campus life. Good for opportunities.

Infrastructure: Hostels are very limited. Only the students with a good percentile in JEE get a hostel in the first year. Second year onwards the hostels are even more limited and are allotted based on merit. Wi-Fi is available everywhere. All departments are in the same main building. The infrastructure of the ECE department classrooms and labs is good. Classrooms are okayish. Hostels are rarely allotted.

Academically excellent with supportive faculty, but hostel accommodation facilities are limited.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is available. The library is very small, like a big room, instead of a proper building. The infrastructure is still under development. There is a shortage of hostels, so about 90% of students live outside the campus in PGs or rented apartments. Life is mostly like that of a day scholar, and vehicles are allowed. Hostels are good, but only a few merit-based students get hostel accommodation. Food, canteen, and medical facilities are good, but they are a bit far from the academic buildin...

Actually pretty satisfied with faculty and placements, though the infrastructure is not as good.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and library are available. Overall, facilities are average. A sports complex, medical facilities, and a canteen are available on campus. The food quality is average. Additional food options are near the campus. The campus is not very large and mainly consists of a single building that accommodates all branches.

Absolutely worthy regarding my department, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good. The infrastructure is good for our department with sufficient labs, classrooms, and library facilities. Hostel facilities are also good, including food quality, rooms, washrooms, and overall management by staff.

Absolutely satisfied with the college because of placements.

Infrastructure: It is not a very large college in terms of infrastructure. Expectations should be kept low as it mainly lacks in infrastructure. There is not even basic hostel facility available for all students. Only a few students get hostels in the first year. Hostel allocation is based on JEE rank and reservation norms, and later depends on CPI/SPI.

Average placement and campus life.

Infrastructure: Metallurgical labs are good. There are a few smart classrooms as well. Accommodation like Sirpur Hostel offers merit-based housing. Food quality is average. Since everything is connected under one building, moving between classrooms are quick and easy.

Decent college, not too good, not too bad.

Infrastructure: The college provides Wi-Fi, but the network is very weak. Labs are fine and have almost all the required instruments, and students enjoy lab classes. Classrooms are also okay; some are air-conditioned while others are not. The library has a very small seating capacity.

NIT Raipur curriculum is awesome, but the worst part is the low number of hostel seats.

Infrastructure: All kinds of facilities are provided in the college, including a library, playground, Wi-Fi, ethernet for hostel students, and a large computer lab. There is a dedicated building for computer labs called CCC. The only drawback is the limited number of hostel seats for both girls and boys.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty and college life.

Infrastructure: Facilities are very good. The only thing is that till now, the infrastructure is not up to NIT level, but new buildings are under construction for new classrooms and hostels also. A central library is also there, and the classrooms are decent. Hostel facilities include mess food, games, and I am not sure about Wi-Fi because I am a day scholar.

NIT Raipur has good placements.

Infrastructure: For my department, hostels are available, but it can be a problem for students in the lower department in the first year because hostels are allocated based on ranks in the first year, and in the second year, they are based on CPI in the first semester. LAN is available in hostels. Food quality depends on hostels, but they are eatable. There is a new sports building and a gym is available, opening time is 5 PM and closing time is 7 PM, only 2 hours, which should be increased by them because of t...

I’m dissatisfied by infrastructure and facilities.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is horrible, for an NIT at such a name, or stood nowhere to my expectations. I am in my 4th semester right now, but till today we haven't had any air conditioning in our classroom. It heats up too much in summer. Faculty members have personal ACs in their cabins, and other branches, such as mining and IT, have air-conditioned conditions. This college gets a good amount of maintenance money, but invest minimal. I don't live in hostels, but what I have heard is that they don't p...

Living a good college life at NITRR.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is quite good, as I have visited the college of my friends, which does not have many facilities, like here. The hostel is available, but we can get it if we score a good CPI in the semester. Only a few students get a seat in the hostel.

It is a good college. It is decently good in terms of placements.

Infrastructure: The college lacks basic infrastructure. It is well-established. There is a lot of sports equipment and other facilities. Hostels are a problem here. For first-year students, hostels are not enough for everyone in the college.

NITs are best for everything.

Infrastructure: There are a total of 10 rooms per floor per block. There are 5 blocks. Almost all areas of the campus have Wi-Fi facilities. There are 12 labs. There is a library full of books. There is a Pai-Chain Cafe where people go to hang out with their friends.

A decent good college with decent placement.

Infrastructure: The 100-acre campus is currently being developed, with a new high-tech main building under construction. Due to a hostel shortage, many students live off-campus, facilitated by restricted exit rules. However, onsite facilities are solid: fast Wi-Fi, quality food (non-veg twice weekly), and a dispensary supported by a nearby AIIMS. The college also features decent classrooms and a well-equipped gym and sports complex, though access hours are restricted.
