The college doesn't provide a good way for internships and also, the branches like chemical and metallurgy have a very low placement ratio.

Satisfied with college as you know location and its connectivity to other parts of India.
Placements: Placement is improving significantly year by year and every year. A few more firms and tech giants come here for the recruitment of students. You have to gain some decent skills on your own by ignoring the mediocre crowd here.
Infrastructure: Every room has 5 person occupancy. Wi-Fi is restricted and there is a single LAN port provided in every room. Department of top tech branches is good but not sure about the lower branches and the mess food here is below average.
Faculty: Teachers are not fully inclined some are good, but some are bad in terms of expression. They may have knowledge of the subject but they do not know how to express it. During exams you have to learn the topics and key points on your own and study from YouTube.

Life of students at NIT Srinagar.
Placements: Nearly 84 percent of students got placed with an average of 13 LPA, and the highest is 36 LPA. Oracle, Nvidia, and Google are top recruiters. Most of the 90 percent of students get internships. Most of the students who get placed here are more, and a few students are placed off campus, so no worries.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good, but not very much. The Wi-Fi is sometimes available, and the library has good books and a relatively smaller area and seating too. The food is not too good, but those who wanna become clean can come here. Most of the food served is north indian thali, and south indians must bring their own pickles and powders to survive. All medical facilities are above average, and the canteen is a better option for spending more money and time with friends. Sports and games are okay, and there is a gym for both boys and girls.
Faculty: Not only here, every college student has to learn on their own to improve their skills, and most of the teaching is done in Hindi. 75 percent attendance is a must to appear for exams, and the level of examination depends on the paper setter, and it depends on the students, too, to study and to get good grades. The password percentage is 95 percent maximum, as far as I know.
Other: Computer Science engineering is a good course and has more demand too, and therefore I chose this, and many students here earn money through freelancing and all.

Absolutely a great college with a lot of nature and good infrastructure.
Placements: Placements are decent, and the chance of getting placed is very high. Every year, many companies visit the college, providing more opportunities for students. The internships are also good. Many of my seniors also got placed, and there is nothing like non-technical branches getting fewer placements, everyone has equal opportunities. At the end of the day, it’s you who should have the talent.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good, and the nature is awesome. You can enjoy the climate, nature, and everything, for nature lovers, this is the one. Many events are conducted, and for sports lovers, there are many opportunities, including inter-NIT leagues and all. The administration here supports the talent every student has in a very good way.
Faculty: Faculty is awesome, and the way they teach is brilliant. The exams are held in a proper way, and you get to learn everything in the class itself. The professors are very experienced, and the way they encourage the talent in you is awesome. Not only in academics but in every aspect, they are very supportive and encourage you to shine in everything.
Other: Fests are good, and the vibe is nice. The administration is also nice. You can see a good campus life and, of course, the memorable moments.

Beautiful college but decent placements.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course recently is 24 percent. The highest package offered is 8 to 9LPA and the average package offered is 36LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course are ONGC IOCL Infosys Samsung and Vedanta. Percentage of students who got internships is 30 percent in the companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our hostel is not so good. Rooms are crowded with 5 students and Wi-Fi is available in all rooms but it did not work. Some classrooms are also not but the library is decent but crowded because of less space. There are labs of computer chemical Physics etc.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well qualified and their teaching quality is good but sometimes we are lagging due to a language barrier. The course curriculum is also relevant which makes quality engineers for the industry. The level of semester exams is difficult.

Overall, a decent NIT with an average package.
Placements: There are better placements than some branches. Top recruiting companies are JSW, HDFC, Vedanta, and Tata Steel. The highest package is 37.33 LPA, and the average package is 9.01 LPA. The lowest package is 5.24 LPA. Around 60% of students completed their internships.
Infrastructure: Good hostel room, but the room is crowded with 5 people. Wi-Fi is available but not with great speed, and only one Ethernet per room. Many ongoing infrastructure projects are still under construction. There are many sectors where they can improve and provide a better experience to students.
Faculty: Professors are good with qualifications, but somewhere they are strict and there are a lot of assignments and work given by them. They are helpful, semester exams are good, but there are no gaps given between exams. Courses are relevant according to the demand in the sector.

Absolutely satisfied because of name of NIT and good environment.
Placements: The highest package is 35 LPA, the medium package is 15 LPA, and the lowest package is 10 LPA. We got internships in the 3rd year, and we also find good and helpful seniors in our college. 99.9% of candidates are doing their internship and all got money for the internship.
Infrastructure: Good labs, but classrooms are not so good because there is no microphone in class. The hostel is good but no option for changing rooms. All the physical things are good, but the food at the mess is bad. Games are available on our grounds, but it's only during the day at night, there's no option.
Faculty: Teachers are the best, and all teachers have a great degree and are helpful. Semester exams are fine. My college pass percentage is 33.33% and it seems tough to give the exam in the first year, but it is not difficult, as so much balance, like money, which is important for us.
