Absolutely dissatisfied with the hostel maintenance and the mess food maintenance.

Placements: I think the placement criteria depend on the CGPA, the skills, communication skills, and confidence of the student. So, the ones with skills, good CGPA, and confidence will get the placement, and the ones who do not will not get it. It's not in our hands, but the companies that come here are not that bad.

Infrastructure: Coming to the hostel, it is a nightmare. Really. The cleaning and hygiene are not up to the mark. The food in the mess, we shouldn't really talk about this. I mean, they are providing the same food every week without any change in the menu, and moreover, they don't taste good. They taste land. We really can't continue eating this food. And moreover, we have to pay each and every time to eat non-veg. It was not informed while paying the mess fee that we would be provided only with veg food.

Faculty: The faculty, I think, should improve their teaching skills. Not everything can be understood by just scrolling through the slides of a PowerPoint presentation, reading it, and feeling like explaining everything and assuming we understand everything. They also need to pay attention to every student.

Other: Everything is not that bad, but I can't say it is really up to the mark.

NIT Warangal College Review.

Placements: NIT Warangal really stands out as one of the top engineering colleges when it comes to placements, boasting an impressive average package of about 88 LPA. Now, if you were looking specifically at the B.Tech CSE branch, the average package there was around 26 LPA. Its pretty cool because major companies like Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, Samsung, TCS, and Infosys actively recruit from our college. Uber even offered internships with a sweet stipend of 1LPA. Overall, the placement percentage was quite promising, too.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi across the whole campus, as well as LAN in the hostels, was available. The labs were fully equipped and excellent. The library had more than 200,000 books of all kinds. I would rate the food 2 out of 5. Medical and sports facilities were good. The hostels for second year students were not great, but the others were fine. The food was also good.

Faculty: Teachers have good qualifications and a long teaching career. Our course was suitable for our environment. Our schools semester exams were very hard, and to get a good grade, we had to work significantly. Overall, the faculty members are good and approachable.

It is one of the best engineering colleges.

Placements: NIT Warangal is among one of the top engineering colleges in placements with an average package of 88 LPA. In the B.Tech CSE branch, the average package is 26 LPA. Top companies like Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, Samsung, TCS, Infosys, etc., visit our college for placements. Uber provided the internship with a stipend of 1 lakh per month. Overall, the percentage of students who get placed is also good.

Infrastructure: Newly constructed buildings such as the biotech and chemical department buildings are nice. However, old buildings for other branches need renovation. Labs are good with air-conditioners. Hostels are good. Some new hostels have been built for second-year students. There is a little issue with hygiene but we can manage. Mess food is okay, but we can eat it daily. Sometimes, they don't make food in the correct way, but it is manageable. However, the quality of the food is good.

Faculty: All the teachers at NIT Warangal are well-qualified. They are good at teaching and are also supportive of students. But some teachers are well qualified and still do not teach properly or don't support students and we will definitely find these types of teachers. However, there are few such types of teachers so we will not face any difficulty. We will just have to manage with them.

Other: There are two types of events that are held in NIT Warangal. First is Techfest named Technozian and second is Sprinspree which is a cultural fest. Sports facilities are okay. The gym is available for everyone so we do not have to miss our exercise.

Pros and cons of NIT Warangal.

Placements: In biotechnology, last year, 30 out of 59 students were placed, with a maximum 30 LPA package and a median of 15 LPA. There are not many core companies for biotechnology like Biotechnika, so people get placements in non-core fields like software, data analysis, and data scientist-like fields.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is much better in my college compared to other NITs and colleges. We have Asia's biggest hostel and library available. The mess food is average, but for South Indians, it's good. We have proper Ethernet and Wi-Fi available. In sports and medical, all facilities are available.

Faculty: All teachers are Ph.D. qualified and have good knowledge. They are well-versed in their subjects except for some faculty. The courses are well-structured, and we are learning many things, but some unnecessary things are also included. Yes, it makes us ready for the industry. Semester examinations are fair and moderate; some teachers make tough question papers, but we have a relative grading system. If you have more than half of the average class marks, then you will pass.

Other: NIT Warangal has very good lab facilities for biotechnology. It has two fests in a year: one cultural and one technical.

Ground reality of my college, NIT Warangal.

Placements: In the biotechnology specialization, placement is sufficient compared to other colleges for the same branch. Placement percentages are around 70 percent, with an average package of around 14 lacs per year. In this course, many people prefer to do higher studies, such as M.Tech and Ph.D.

Infrastructure: The largest hostel of Asian, which is 1.8k, is here. All the first-year boys have to stay here for two semesters. There is a mess named IFC A for the first-year students, which serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. For internet in the hostel, there is a LAN connection in each room.

Faculty: For each semester, there are the following exams you have to take: 1 end sem examination, 40 marks 1 mid-semester exam, 30 marks 2 minor examinations, 15 marks each All the teachers are highly qualified. You have to maintain a minimum attendance of 80 percent for the examination.

Other: Each year, two festivals are organized by the college. One is technical, namely, Technozian, held in the month of December. Another one is the cultural festival, namely, the Springs Spree, which is held during the month of April.

Hi, Yes there are good amount of placements at NIT Silchar for Electrical engineering. The highest package may go more than 25 LPA while the average package is around 4-6 LPA. Many companies like BPCL, IOCL, Philips etc come for recruitment and the placement percentage is over 90 percent.

Truly speaking there is no chance in any NIT or in any IIITs at this rank. You may get GFTI colleges but can't get CSE or ECE.
