Good college for Mechanical Engineering.
Placements: Internships are there. A lot of companies are tied up with NITW, and Siemens Research Center is inside the campus. Many clubs exist, and students are motivated to do projects and help get patents if needed. National Institute of Technology Warangal is famous for its placement percentage in core and tech side. Everything in detail can be found on the NITW main site, like placement percentage branch-wise and average package.
Infrastructure: Hostel costs are affordable. There is an ethernet connection, electricity, fan, and cool mineral water in every hostel. The campus is very good. A big library is available for students for free. Good sports facilities and grounds are there. Gym is available for everyone. Many events and festivals are celebrated well. There are lots of clubs students can join to explore and learn. Gym is available. There are also coffee shops in campus, a food street where you can have food or buy necessary items, and a book stall inside campus.
Faculty: NIT Warangal is famous for Mechanical Engineering among NITs. There are sufficient faculty for learning and helping in academics. There are workshops and industry visits for students. Faculty are always helpful, friendly, and professional. They are highly experienced. There is no faculty that is disliked; everyone is good. Exams are 70 marks: 30 marks mid-term, 40 marks end-sem, and other 30 marks are under professors’ control, which may include assignments or special tests.

College is good only in terms of image, but actual scenarios are the worst.
Placements: Almost 85%- 90% of students are placed by the completion of 4th year. The highest package for the core role in mechanical is about 28 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Bajaj, Exonmobil, Tata Motors, etc. About 10% of the students secure internships at top companies on campus. Roles offered are core mechanical roles of design, modeling, and simulations, and other roles offered are of management.
Infrastructure: All the college buildings are equipped with Wi-Fi, there are no AC in classrooms, but labs are available. In the library space, there is PC and AC for students to study. Hostel infrastructure and facilities for the living area are very poor. No options for a canteen kind of monopoly are there. Sports and games are few, and on practical notes, accessible only to a few.
Faculty: Very few professors are well known about their subject, others are just being egoistic by nature and difficult to communicate with. The course curriculum is not relevant and doesn't help with any practical industry knowledge. Semester exams are not so difficult.
Other: I chose the course because I have an interest in power generation devices, which are very important for human logistics. The academic curriculum is followed in the same old style, which is not modified for the current world. Events and fests are decent. College is very focused on academics and restricts students based on grades for extracurricular activities.

National Institute of Technology Warangal College.
Placements: We had a 90 to 95% student conversion into actual placements in our course. The highest package was 64 LPA, and the average package was roughly 10 LPA. Top recruiters were Larsen & Toubro, Tata, Mahindra, etc. Students have intern offers across the board as well.
Infrastructure: The hostel and mess were good enough to manage. Wi-Fi was available in classrooms, and LAN was available in hostel rooms. We can get anything you want on campus only. Classrooms were well ventilated, and every classroom had a projector. There was a big stadium for cricket and football, and an indoor stadium for badminton.
Faculty: Faculty members were good. You need to be regular in classes. Almost all were passing the exams. The syllabus here was somewhat random dots, we need to connect them to become industry-ready. Semester exams were at a good level, you need to prepare well to pass the semester exams.

Food is better for the North students than the South. Though it is South NIT, everything is good.
Placements: Above 85% of students get selected in campus interviews. A lot of companies come to conduct placements. Many companies collaborated with the NIT. There is a good aluminium for NIT, and we can always check more information on the NITW official page or Instagram for full knowledge.
Infrastructure: New hostels and academic buildings are very good, but not average, in the old hostels and buildings. It has good medical facilities because there is a free dispensary on the campus. Mess food is so good for the North students and below average for the South people. The campus life is good. For sports, there is a huge place. The only thing is that there is no swimming pool.
Faculty: Professors are good and friendly. Academics are good. They help us very much. They always take students' opinions on everything they want to do. They give priority to students. There is no choice in examinations, and 100% attempting is required to get full marks.

Good placements, but the environment is still not that great.
Placements: In the latest session, my percentage was 81%, which is quite good, with an average of 15.6 LPA. The top recruiters were from PSUs and core companies, including Honda, among others. 12% of students get internships, and the top role was a mechanical engineer.
Infrastructure: If I tell you about the 2nd-year hostel, it is quite good. It is called Block, which is very good in its natural habitat, full of greenery and birds chirping, making it a great experience. There is no Wi-Fi. Only LAN is provided for each student.
Faculty: The curriculum is very outdated and lacks practical things, mainly focusing on exams and classes. It could be good if they focussed more on practicals. As I said, it is difficult to get good grades because the grading system is relatively challenging.
Other: I chose it because it's a top NIT with a good average package. The best thing is the peaceful environment in our college. I think the fests and extracurricular activities could be improved, if they could change something.

It is informative, positive, and academically inclined.
Placements: In my course, everyone gets placed either on campus or off campus. We certainly get this here that we'll eventually get placed from this college. The highest package offered is 22 LPA, and the lowest package is 6 LPA. The average package ranges from 10-12 LPA in the mechanical course. As for the internships in the third year, it is quite competitive. Around 15 out of a batch of 140 students got internships in the third year. However, the certainty of getting it in the fourth year is really fair. Companies like Bajaj, Maruti Suzuki, ITC, and Tata Motors are regular here.
Infrastructure: We have access to LAN here in the hostels, along with Wi-Fi facilities inside the central library and some classrooms. Hostels are quite viable here. Some of them are in poor condition, but many of them are being renovated. Most of them have already been improved. Food here is more likely to be priced products. It is fairly made but lacks the North essence (for the North students).
Faculty: Teachers here are certainly qualified. Many teachers are IIT graduates, and some hold a degree from prestigious foreign universities. Some professors are really qualified, generous, and knowledgeable, with a lot to learn from. Some of them lack the sense of teaching. The course curriculum is centrally opted, but in some cases, it lacks modern requirements like artificial intelligence and modern-day software for designing. The level of toughness of the exams depends entirely upon the professors, and hence, the pass percentage.
Other: I qualified for this specific course through my rank in JEE Main, so I opted for it. I am to a certain level interested in Mechanical engineering, for it being a practical subject rather than switching code day and night on our PC, and we get hands-on experience. This, such as better software being taught in the college itself, would help a lot. The college organises two main fests, one technical named Technozian and the other cultural named Springs Spree. The campus is full of positive vibes and entirely surrounded by trees and greenery.

I am satisfied by joining this college but there are a few cons.
Placements: According to our college placement data, 86% of students got placed last year. The highest package is 34.1 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. The average package is 13.59 LPA. There are more details about the placements can be seen on the website www.nitw.ac.in. The top recruiting companies of our branch are Tata Motors, Oracle and Tata Electronics. About 70% of students got internships from various companies like Tata Motors and Bajaj where official reports of internships are not provided. The top roles offered in our course are automation engineer, researcher, and development engineer.
Infrastructure: Facilities in our department are quite good. We are provided with Wi-Fi for internet services. The equipment in the labs works very well. Classrooms are clean and every class is spacious. Projectors are available in every class. The library is very large and contains more than 2 lakh books. Medical and sports facilities are very good. Hostels are old and infrastructure is not good for 2nd-year students but good for rest. Mess food can be rated 2 of 5. This is the only problem I observed in this college.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and have a lot of experience in teaching. They are very helpful. The teaching quality is really good. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not too easy as well as not hard. They are moderate. The pass criteria are obtaining half marks than the class average.
Other: I chose this course because I like mechanical engineering and I am interested in it. The best thing about my course is that I enjoy the workshops and labs. Air conditioning can be improved in classrooms. The main fest of our college named Springs Spree is held once a year grandly. Tech fests and many other activities by clubs are conducted.

NIT, Warangal - A launchpad for ambition and growth.
Placements: The highest package is 69 LPA in the mechanical department, and the average is around 20 LPA. Overall the highest package is 88 LPA and the average is around 16 LPA. Most placements are either consulting or software. Core companies will come only during the placement season.
Infrastructure: The hostel and mess are good enough to manage. Wi-Fi is available in classrooms, and LAN is available in hostel rooms. We can get anything you want on campus only. Classrooms are well-ventilated, and every classroom has a projector. There is a big stadium for cricket and football, an indoor stadium for badminton.

Other: Mechanical engineering is very good, it is the oldest branch in NITW. Faculty members are very experienced but the class timings need to be improved. Events and college fests are good.

Your expected JEE-Main rank is above 200000, While the last year highest closing rank was 32328 in Bio Technology under HS quota in general category for neutral gender. Hence yours chances for NIT Warangal is very less.
