NIT Goa has shifted to the new campus.
Placements: Last year and the year before the placements were not that high but generally a lot of companies visit our college for placements and hire a good number of students. In 2022, the campus placements for CSE, ECE, and EEE were almost 100%. Almost all students got internships but it is generally off-campus.
Infrastructure: NIT Goa has shifted to the new campus in 2023. So everything is new and it has fresh infrastructure. We have a 2-floor library, one with books and one as a study hall. Lab equipment and classrooms are brand new. I would rate 2.5 out of 5 for the quality of mess food. Medical facilities are great. We have a separate building for it and a 24x7 ambulance near hostels. We have a very big ground for games. We have a basketball ground and a volleyball court. Inside the hostel, we have a badminton court.
Faculty: All the teachers are PhD holders from top IITs and NITs so they are great at teaching. The course is carefully designed for each department and is very relevant to the corporate market. NIT Goa follows relatively grading. The difficulty level of exams can be rated as 5 out of 10. Almost 90% of the students pass all subjects.

Great Place to Study and Enjoy.
Placements: I am part of the 2019–2023 batch of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering B.Tech. course. Most of the students who sat for placement were placed. Top recruiting companies include Samsung, Oracle, Nokia, BillDesk, JSW, Adani, Jio, and BPCL. Most of the students were placed in IT-related roles.
Infrastructure: NIT Goa is currently operating from a temporary campus in Farmagudi as of 2023, but it is shifting to its permanent campus in 2024. So facilities were limited there. Limited means all these above-mentioned things are there, but on a limited scale. The hostels are good and provide cheap and healthy food.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers there are very helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is top-notch. Course relevancy is an issue at all government colleges. But as far as I have heard, it is going to be improved. Semester exams are not that tough if you study. There is no fixed percentage of passing; it is based on the marks obtained by everyone.

The average salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Samsung, Nokia, Tutlemint, BPCL, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides us with all facilities. Labs are well-equipped with air-conditioners. The library has many books. It has a good sitting arrangement. Our college is Wi-Fi enabled. The girls' hostel is good. They provide single rooms for girls. The boys' hostel is average. Around 3 boys can stay in each room.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, friendly, and well-qualified. The course curriculum is good. After 2nd year, they let you choose your electives through which you can pursue knowledge of your interest. Semester exams are the perfect combination of questions to test knowledge. It makes students ready for real-life problems.
Other: I opted for this course because I got EEE through JoSAA counseling. I liked this course and learned about electrical and its real-life applications and problems. Students together celebrate every festival. Our college surroundings are good. Our college crowd is helpful and friendly. Our college has good surroundings.

Our college has excellent placements and encouraging teachers.
Placements: In our college, almost 84.6% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 5.2 LPA and the average salary package offered is 9.7 LPA. The top recruiting companies like Samsung, Capgemini, Jio, etc., visit our campus. Top roles offered are SDE, research engineer, deputy manager, and analyst. Almost all students get internships at Siemens and the National Institute of Oceanography.
Infrastructure: Our college facilities and infrastructure are limited. Our classrooms are air-conditioned and equipped with projectors. Wi-Fi is available. The library is equipped with reference books related to undergraduate courses, newspapers, inspiring magazines, and books for other entrance exam preparations. Laboratories are good. Hostel rooms are limited. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is average. Medical facilities are available. There is a huge playground for sports and other cultural events. Our college has a badminton and volleyball court.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-qualified and helpful. They are Ph.D. holders. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum primarily helps in providing theoretical knowledge, but the course laboratories impart practical knowledge, which is required for the industry. Semester exams are average. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because it provides solutions to many real-life problems. The course gives you an analysis of how modern equipment and machines have evolved and how to improve their efficiency. Our college organises various cultural activities, events, and festivals. Our college organizes the biggest event every year, like Saavyas.

Review of NIT Goa - National Institute of Technology.
Placements: Placement cell is working hard for better recruitment. More than 125 companies visit our campus to hire students. Almost 100% of students got placed in our course. The average salary package offered was 10 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 44 LPA. Placement coordinators help us during placements.
Infrastructure: This college is working on the temporary campus located at Phona But all facilities are available. Laboratory is well-equipped. There are 5 departments like computer science, electrical, electronics, mechanical, and civil. There are 3 departments for masters like CSE, PEPS, and VLSI.
Faculty: The course curriculum is very good. We have a credit-based system for exams. Mid-semester and end-semester exams are conducted very well. Around 75% of attendance is required in this college.

It provides good placements and campus life is great.
Placements: Placements are very good. Around 100% of EEE students are placed. The IT placements in the previous season are record breaking. Students can visit the official site of NIT Goa to take a look at the placements records. This year NIT Goa's first CVE and MCE placements are also there, and the students get placed in both IT and core.
Infrastructure: The laboratories are well-equipped with the instruments students need. The only drawback is the quantity of them. Students have very good air-conditioned classrooms and a hostel with shared rooms of 3 students. This college and hostel are well-equipped with a Wi-Fi facility and guards.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and have a lot of knowledge. But some teachers are not good at teaching. They know but fail to deliver the information sometimes. The semester exams are difficult if students do not study regularly and study just before the exams. There are some subjects like power electronics, and LIC which cannot be covered a day before the exam. Although it is easy to pass but difficult to score.
Other: The campus life is excellent. Though the campus is small, it is worth it to live here. Faculty members are supportive and students have a lot of events that held in this college regularly.

Review of NIT Goa - National Institute of Technology.
Placements: Around 80% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA, and the lowest salary pacakge offered is 7 LPA. The average salary pacakge offered is 15 LPA. Samsung and Shadings are the top recruiting companies. Students get internships in many companies, and the highest salary package offered is 24 LPA.
Infrastructure: This college has huge and lush green. Students will be shifting to our permanent campus shortly. The hostels are good and the library has almost all the books needed by the students. The food served in the mess is also good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and elaborative. The course curriculum is industry-ready. The passing percentage is 90%. The faculty member is top class and very helpful. The campus is small but self-sufficient with a hostel, library, and mess all nearby. There is institutional transport for traveling also.
Other: The NIT tag is a brand in itself. Students are currently on GEC campus, will be shifting in next academic year to our main campus. Many events are there, and the annual event Savyas is very famous in this college.

The lecturers in our college are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable.
Placements: Nearly 80 percent of students were placed in our college. The highest package was 18 Lakh per annum and the lowest package was 5 Lakh per annum. Wipro, Capgemini are the top recruiting companies. Nearly 30 percent of students got an internship from our course in Wipro, Capgemini, SAP.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by our college are not bad. They provide Wi-Fi with slow speed. Labs are congested with limited experimental modules. Classrooms are fine. Library is also congested. The food in hostel is not tasty and low quality. Our college provides medical facilities. For the next academic year, our permanent campus will be ready.
Faculty: The lecturers in our college were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is above average. The course curriculum is very much relevant. I think this course curriculum does not make the students industry-ready. Only the students who have in-depth knowledge of the subjects become industry-ready.
Other: I am interested in being an electrical engineer. From childhood, I used to play with electric toys. The best thing about this course is the experiments.
