Very satisfied with teaching as well as my college life.
Placements: Almost 100% of students got placed. 18 students out of 18 are placed. Very good packages are there and all are in a core company. The highest package is 16 LPA, and the lowest package is 5 LPA. The average package is 8 LPA. Top company that gives the highest package in our department is Wabtech. All students got roles like design engineer, CAE engineer, and FEA engineer.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is available on campus. All books and research papers are there in the library. Infrastructure is very good and very silent. All people there are going for serious study. I was in 1.8k ultra mega hostel and it is very big 9th floor. All the facilities are good. There are two gyms on 1st and 2nd floors of hostel and canteen also. Outside hostel and medical facilities are also there on campus. It is around 700M from the hostel. We will get all medicine free and sports and games facilities also there.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. All teachers have done post-doctoral from reputed university. Teaching quality is also good and some teachers use only PPT to understand. Some old teachers who actually have too much experience use blackboard to understand the subject topics and other things related to students as well as job life things how to think about the industry, productivity, innovation, growth, and all the things. Course is difficult because questions are hard at the end semester. Papers are checked very sincerely so getting good marks are very difficult.

Absolutely happy with NIT Warangal in all aspects.
Placements: If you are in NIT, you do not need to worry about placement. Our cell is very dedicated towards student support 100% of the students in our batch get job in reputed MNC. Dassault system, Capgemini, Tata technologies, Mercedes-Benz, MG Motors, etc. 3 students placed in vinfasf Vietnam. Package depend on company and role; the average package offered was 9 LPA. Roles are different many designs and tire simulations.
Infrastructure: The college campus is spread over 250 acres. It is a beautiful campus. Lift gets a problem, and several power cuts distrub the student. The college library has AC, and a and a lot of books, journals, and study material are available. The seminar hall has a speaker and AC. The college is lacking in sports facilities; even sports kits are not available. In hostels, we do not have AC, no theatre for hot water, and sometimes washrooms are not clean. Mess only provides South Indian food, only vegetarian, no non-vegetarian food is cooked.
Faculty: The college faculty is very experienced; they have passion for teaching; they do not like a 9-to-5 job. Teachers have masters and doctorates from NITs and IITs. College security is a little rushed towards students, and they disrespect us. The college schedule is very hectic, and strict rules are applied to boys and girls. I think the course curriculum is really good, given the in-depth understanding and core concept of machine design. We have 3 minors and 1 main exam; all exams have credit. Minors are easy due to the smaller syllabus, but majors have many marks and are very hard.
Other: NIT is a brand every individual has a dream to complete a Masters from; there is no way to choose another college over NIT.

I'm satisfied with NIT, Warangal, as it is one of the oldest NITs and far better than new IITs.
Placements: In the machine design course, 10-12 students out of 18-22 students got placed. We can assume that to be 60%, and the packages vary from 3 to 12 LPA. Don't get your hopes high on placements. It is the same for internships too. PPOs are offered by a very few companies.
Infrastructure: The campus is great. It has huge hostels. This college has almost everything a person can need, and there is a lot to learn. All the campus area is Wi-Fi enabled. It has a huge library with many books, and we also have an e-library. You will enjoy the campus life here for sure.
Faculty: The faculty members in NIT Warangal are highly qualified and are PhD holders. They are from old IITs and other top foreign universities. Most of the teachers are very helpful in solving our doubts, and we can also discuss our personal problems with them. They are very kind to the students. Not all are the same, there are some teachers who don't have to do anything with students, and they don't even care about the students.
Other: I chose machine design as I want to get a white-collar job. Machine design students can apply for a lot of companies and get good jobs.

The campus is good as compared to most of the NITs. Overall it's a fabulous experience.
Placements: Placements in our college are good as compared to most of the NITs and some IITs. Almost 70% of M.Tech students are placed. Around 95% of B.Tech students are placed. Most of the companies are core companies which offer decent salary packages. For B.Tech, PSUs also visit the campus for placements. Overall placements are good here.
Infrastructure: The college is situated 15 km away from Warangal city. The campus is lush green. The hostel facility is okay. The rooms are spacious. Regarding sports, indoor badminton court, volleyball courts, football ground, cricket net with mat, 400 m running track, etc., are available here.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable and experienced, but they are very egoistic. Won't expect everything to be taught by faculty as they are lazy. They are friendly and polite. The course curriculum is mostly similar to the curriculum of other NITs and IITs.

Review of NIT Warangal (NITW) - National Institute of Technology.
Placements: Placements in our college are very good compared almost all NITs and some of the IITs. Most of the companies that visit the campus are core companies and offer decent packages. CSE, ECE and EEE departments have 100% placements. The mechanical branch has around 80% placements. For B.Tech, PSUs also visit the college.
Infrastructure: The college is situated in the main city of Warangal. The campus has a lot of greenery and new buildings. We have a world-class swimming pool.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly knowledgeable and experienced. A few of them have ego issues. Some of them might ask you for personal favours too, like to attend the labs as an invigilator during exams.
Other: Overall, the experience on the campus will be amazing.
