Our college is good, but it is costly than other NITs.
Placements: The placement record for the M.Tech automobile branch is good than other engineering branches. The highest salary package offered in 2020 was 5.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3.8 LPA. Companies like Valeo, Cummins, Tata, General Motors, etc., visit here. A disadvantage of the automobile engineering course is it is not up to the mark in today's automobile industry.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good for other branches, but for the mechanical branch, it is very poor as the building is too old. Labs are good, but Wi-Fi is not available on the campus. The best place on the college premises is the library, which is very good and situated in the center of the college. Classrooms are up to the mark as it has a projector and a green board.
Faculty: Teachers here are highly qualified and knowledgeable. There is a problem in the mechanical engineering department that not a single teacher is going to help you in any circumstances. Teachers here do not understand students' feelings. The automobile engineering curriculum is way too old according to today's industries.
Other: I have chosen the automobile course because I am much interested in this course. The best thing about this course is that whatever you learn, you can easily visualise, and you can also see in day-to-day life. I think NITW introduces some new subjects to courses like electric vehicles, machine learning, IoT, etc. Events, fests and campus crowd are way too good than other colleges. Many extracurricular activities are also organised.

Satisfied as the placements are good and faculty are cooperative.
Placements: Placements in our college are good. On comparing B.Tech and M.Tech, B.Tech students have more placement opportunities. The highest package offered was 39 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 5 LPA. 60%-70% of the students got internships. The highest stipend offered was Rs. 35,000 per month and the lowest stipend offered was Rs. 20,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available all over the campus, and 10 Gbps LAN cable is also mounted all over the campus. Labs are pretty good. Classrooms are digital. The library has more than 1 lac books. A dispensary is available on the campus. Different sports courts and a huge stadium are available. Gymnasiums are present in hostels and also the college.
Faculty: The faculty are very good, well-qualified and knowledgeable. The digital platform is used for teaching so that students should not face the shortage of books. We got industry exposure. The course curriculum is well designed according to the industry requirements, and practical implementation is more focused.
Other: Many extracurricular activities are conducted in the college. Main events like Technozian, which is a techfest and Springspree, which is a cultural fest are conducted in the college. The college has different associations. They organise plenty of activities and workshops.

Its an exceelent institute in terms of placement, acedemics and research.Overall percentage of 2018
Placements: In our batch total placements till march 2018 is 60% some more companies are still coming. The highest package was 6.25 lacks per annum. The lowest package was 4.5lacks per annum. Two students among 15 from our batch got internships in G. E. India Ltd. Total 8 srudents out of 15 have been placed.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite nice here. Seperate department buildings are there with seperate stadium library computer center music center Innovation garrage workshops etc. We have dedicated stadium and physical department along with a gym. Internet faciloty is there with LAN and wi-fi connection.
Faculty: We have 12professors, 18 associate professors and 21 assistant professors in the Mechanical Engineering department. The institute have a large number of Ph.D. scholers who are associated with several project works. The institute provides education in the field of B.Tech. M.Tech. M.Sc. MBA and Ph.D.
Other: We have around 5000 students in our campus. Its an I stitute of National Importance. We have several cluns which organizes various activities throughout the year.

Really good college to join. Overall everything is satisfied.
Placements: The placement statics of my batch is pretty good. I am from mechanical engineering. In my batch 12 out of 18 got placed with the highest package of 8.75 Lacs in Bajaj Auto and the lowest package as 5lpa in a college. The average package is about 6.25lpa. For my seniors the status is also good. The maximum package was approximately 9.5lpa in mercedes benz and average package is about 6.5lpa. The companies which are visited this years are Bajaj Auto, GE, Cummins, Bombadier, Caterpillar, Cyient Hexagon, Renault Nissan etc. The most companies offered the Post Graduate Engineer Trainee (PGET) post.
Infrastructure: The facilities in the college is pretty good. The Library has mostly all books needed, a reading section and a digital room with AC. The labs are also properly maintained. Sports courts are available for approximately all sports like Badminton, Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis, Basketball, Volleyball etc. The classrooms are big enough and fully ventilated. The capacity of boys hostels are more than required but the girls hostels has less capacity.
Faculty: Yes maximum of the teachers are helpful and knowledgeable but 1 or 2 exceptions are everywhere. The teaching method is also good teachers use board and presentations according to the need. The course curriculum is good first you will get the basic subjects and then advanced which has the practical applications in industries. In my 2 year course I visited 3 companies Diesel Locoshed, Mahindra and Mahindra, Valeo as industrial visit.
Other: Campus is very green. Also campus has a food street where you can get the snacks of your choice and a canteen if you don't want to eat in mess. Throughout the year many events used to happen. And two fests, Technical fest and Cultural fest.

I am absolutely satisfied with my M.Tech with good placement and also with good teachers.
Placements: Hi Guys, I am Aalok Aggarwal and I passed my M.Tech from NIT Warangal in Power System Engineering. It was wonderful experience in NIT and faculty are very good specially senior faculty. And about placement there are good placement in electrical branch but not very good in Power System. If you are interested then you get admission in Power electronics but if you are interested in Power electronics. There are very good placement of Power electronics branch. There are so many company like GE, Alestom, Bombardier, Siemens, TCS and many software company. Also Placement is depends on your batch placement representative (PR). Overall it's good experience, if you want to go for higher education then go for IITs and NITs. Our batch got atleast 60% placement and PED get 80% placement.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good of NIT Warangal. All department have own building and also rooms available for study. Library is aousem because it contain all variety of book especially good authors with text books. Medical facilities is also very good because it give you medical facility free of cost and if you have some major problem then you goes to private hospital and the bill is paid by college. One more thing the boys hostal for M.Tech guys is very good. In first year there are room for two student but in final year separate room for each student and 24 hours wi-fi, light, and water facility is there. The hostal alloted for M.Tech guys is Ultra Mega Hostal (1.8K) which is the biggest in Asia. And mess is also not B.Ed but it is very good for south student but for north student it is okay.
Faculty: As I told Faculty is very good and experienced. All faculty are Ph.D. holder with good teaching experience. Junior faculty are also good. Teaching quality is also good. Men if you go for Ph.D. then go for M.Tech from NIT Warangal but if you go for core field job in electrical or you think other study like GATE in M.Tech then I have to say that it is not very good option. From my point of view you have to prepare first separately then if nothing happen then go. And I also suggested those student who have less then 60% in there any academics (like 10th ,12th, B.Tech) those student don't came to NITs because at the time of placement all company ask 60% throughout all academics.
Other: In NIT Warangal so many events is there just like Tech- Fast, Technozion. Especially Technozion is very good in NIT Warangal, In Technozion students are coming from different college and perform, and big star like TVf team, some singer etc. Are also come. And every Saturday there id DJ night and on Sunday they will show you movie in auditorium, in auditorium you fell like seeing movie in multiplex. Games is also played means tournament like cricket, tennis, badminton, football etc. Scholarship is also there for M.Tech student as 12400.

NITW, an institute of national importance.
Placements: Since this is one of the premier institute in the country most of the big brands come here to recruiter graduates and postgraduates. Here placements are quite good as compared to other NITs, according to stats more than 90% students in B.Tech. And more than 65% in M.Tech. Students are placed. This is the average data of last 3 years. Companies provide rather better package to graduates as compared to postgraduate. Max. Place was approximately 34 LPA in amazon and the lowest was approximately 4 LPA. Average packege is 7. 0 LPA for B.Tech. And 5.0 LPA for M.Tech. Most of the big brands like Microsoft, Google, cognizant, rolls royce, mercedes, Tata, GE, bajaj, psus like bpcl, iocl, etc. Visit regularly. For the internship so many companies visit, the above brands also hire interns as well as other Premier companies belong to Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad come here to recruit interns. Approximately 30% students get internships here. Companies mostly prefer postgraduates for internship. There is a placement cell but completely managed by students. And placement coordinators are effectively handling it.
Infrastructure: Here college provides good infrastructure, but truly it lags some of NITs in terms of infrastructure but its quite better. College provides wi-fi in whole college area, there are well-equipped labs, Nice modern hitech classrooms, huge library is there, there is proper place of study inside library, college provides complete medical facility, and ambulance is there also college has Tie-ups with some good hospital like max-care etc. These hospitals provide cashless treatment. There is a huge stadium and other games courts and gyms. It has several canteens inside college. They provide good and hygienic food, apart from it there is food street where one can have almost energy snacks. And just outside the college so many restaurants are there. Its has big hostels, the biggest in the country Ultramega hostel of capacity 1800 students. Rooms are spacious and well furnished with beds, table, chair, almirah, proper huge window, dampered doors etc. Only there is lack of its own swimming pool.
Faculty: No doubt, teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They help all the students equally. All the facilities have doctorate and postdoctorate degrees from premier institutions across the globe. They provide highly effective theoretical as well as practical knowledge and they provide industry based knowledge also. Here for every 20 people 1 faculty is there. They use chalk and board, as well as projector based teaching as per requirement. Labs are highly equipped for ex. In mechanical lab there several kind of engines of different companies are there of study its functionality. Lab technicians are highly learned. And the course curriculum is set by keeping industrial requirements in mind. And its highly effective.
Other: This college has so many cultural and technical groups that organize different programs almost every day, so many events going on in daily basis, two major events that are tech fest and a cultural fest organize every year that has its own way and highly joyful. Campus has a time square, a huge Auditorium, one more auditorium is going prepare. College is well connected with the railway route from Nagpur to Chennai route and also nearby Hyderabad. College is just on the Warangal-Hyderabad highway, college offers some talented students scholarships to go abroad. Some state and central scholarships are also provided.

Placements: The placements depend upon the student placement coordinator and also the class, and the type of specialisation chosen. There will be various type of placements. You may be placed not only in the specialisation you choose, but you may also be placed in IT companies and also in coaching institutes from all over the nation.
Infrastructure: The excellent infrastructural facilities are available in the campus. The infrastructure is comparable with IIT. They worth more than 500 crores. The hostels are remarked as one of the biggest of the Asia (boys hostel). Very good civil, mechanical and also other engineering disciplines are here.
Faculty: The college has excellent faculty. Most of them are from IISC, IIT and NIT. Almost all of them have completed their Post-doctorate except the ad-hoc faculty. The course curriculum and laboratories are comparable with the Indian Institute of Technologies.

Placements: The placements are very good in B.Tech as well as for M.Tech students. Till now, approximately more than 50% of the students are placed. The companies are coming here like Tata Steel, Mahindra Auto, L&T, ECC, Bombardier, Cummins, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Caterpillar, Thermax, etc.
