My honest review of my college.
Placements: In the year 2021, we faced the pandemic problem, and still, more than 9 companies visited our college for internships like Nvidia, Microchip, Intel, MediaTek, AMD, Qualcomm, Marvel Semiconductor, etc. Every company will have a different way of conducting their exams, and some may directly shortlist based on our M.Tech CGPA for the interview. Some will have multiple stages like (M.Tech CGPA, then their respective exam cutoff + then the technical round, then HR) but almost every company followed the multiple shortlisting criteria method for the selection.
Infrastructure: Hostels are one of the best with a 1,000-1,800 student capacity with all facilities and continuous maintenance to be done. The mess food is not up to the mark and is unable to resolve due to various people all over the country.
Faculty: Teachers of our college are well qualified and helpful to students. They are mainly from NITs and IITs. They teach in a good mood and in a healthy environment. The course curriculum is 60% relevant, and the rest depends on an internship to be industry-ready.
Other: I chose the advanced communication systems course, which is more maths-oriented, so it is quite hard compared with other M.Tech branches such as VLSI and Embedded. So if anyone is going for an M.Tech in communication stream I would suggest brushing up on their maths and random variable topics before joining. The main disadvantage of the course are faculty members. There is no single faculty specialized in our courses compared to other department faculty members. However, they try up to their level.

It is a top-class institute for undergraduates and a very good institute for postgraduates.
Placements: It is a premium institute of India with excellent placements for students pursuing B.Tech and M.Tech courses. In 2018, more than 60% of the students were placed in various corporate companies including Intel, Qualcomm, MediaTek, Dell, and some other government PSUs like C-DOT with an average salary of 6 LPA. Every year, nearly half of the students have been offered internships in various companies.
Infrastructure: The college provides separate hostels for boys and girls with an individual LAN facility for each person. Wi-Fi facility is yet to be offered in the departments. There is a very good library available for all the students with a number of books available for students from all courses. There is a separate department of physical education for students who are interested in sports and games. Playgrounds, badminton, tennis, and basketball courts are available for students. The dispensary is available within the campus, and medical reimbursement is also available for students.
Faculty: The quality of teaching is quite good as all the faculty are well qualified with PhD degrees. Our faculty members also have a good experience. They use digital techniques to teach. There are enough faculty to teach all the courses. Moreover, the college also hires ad-hoc faculty members to handle 1st-year courses.
Other: The college organises two annual fests certified by ISO. They are Technozion and Spring Spree. Technozion is the biggest technical fest in South India, and it is a 3-day fest conducted during August. Spring Spree is a cultural fest organised for 3 days in the month of March. Apart from these, a lot of student activity clubs are available for the entertainment of students like Film committee, Radio club, and Quiz club, etc.
