Review of NIT Warangal - National Institute of Technology.
Placements: Since it's NIT Warangal and the computer science branch, we have a 100% placement rate every year. Recently, only the biotech department saw a CTC of 13 LPA offered from Citi Group to one of our seniors. Apart from companies like Novartis and Dr. Reddy’s Labs, we also have non-core placements in our department with companies such as UBS, United Health Group, TCS, IBM, FIIT JEE, MuSigma, Infosys, OFSS, EXL, Immuno Shop, iQuanti, Teach Mahindra, GEP, and others. Placement packages ranged from ₹3.25 LPA to ₹10.5 LPA
Infrastructure: The course curriculum is a bit challenging, requiring students to work hard in every subject, as the college uses a relatively strict grading system. Each subject has one faculty member and two teaching assistants. All facilities are staffed by Ph.D.-qualified personnel with comprehensive knowledge of their subjects. Exams are moderate to difficult, with three minor exams and one end-term exam. The hostel has nine floors and can accommodate 1,800 students. Our hostel, named Ultra Mega Hostel Rs. 1,800, provides LAN-enabled rooms which are spacious enough for one or two persons. Hostel allocation is handled by the college at the time of admission.
Faculty: Generally, instructors teach the subjects during their assigned periods. The curriculum is up-to-date and highly dynamic. Compared to other branches of IITs, BITS, and NITs, the biotech curriculum that we follow has met all the international standards however, would like to mention that the labs need a lot more funds to match the international level, but they are working towards improving the quality as far as faculty is concerned the newly appointed faculty is highly dynamic have to follow the schedule.

My honest review of my college.
Placements: NITW was good at placement companies like ONGC, Reliance, Tata, etc. Packages depend on the students. Further, apart from Novartis, and previously Dr Reddy Labs, we usually had non-core placements in our department ranging from UBS, United Health Group, TCS, IBM, FIIT JEE, Sigma, Infosys, OFSS, EXL, Immuno Shop, Quaint, Tech Mahindra, and GEP. Others the placements range from 3.25 LPA to 10.5 LPA previous year. Here, I would like to mention, biotechnology was a course focused on higher studies.
Infrastructure: There was plenty of time, and everyone got a well-furnished single room with internet facility and very low cost. There were mega and ultramega hostels with 1,000 and 1,500 rooms. World-class hostel food was contracted to an outside party.
Faculty: Exams were well scheduled, not too overloaded. All subjects had quizzes, mids, and exams total of 8 semesters relatively grading not so difficult to score good CGPA in my branch. Faculty members were simply awesome. The curriculum was a bit outdated. In my branch, there was very less of electronics which was the biggest drawback. I feel that else was well suited for the industry. Many core electrical companies will respect your knowledge. Highly qualified faculty members and staffs with average experience serve the college with average experience of over 20 years. Curriculum has 2 year duration. Course design was industry-oriented, and there were many companies referring to our college. The student-to-professor ratio was very high which was 1:27. There was a high number of doctorate experts in various branches of science, technology, engineering, and management.

I am fully satisfied with facilities available in college.
Placements: Placements are pretty good, last time almost all of the students related to our department were placed in top companies in mechanical departments. Almost 80 percent of our seniors are placed with a good package, and most of the roles are related to post-graduate trainee and management trainee in top mechanical industry companies.
Infrastructure: Hostel, labs, and classrooms are fully equipped with LAN and Wi-Fi facilities in all rooms, and lab facilities are good with industry-oriented labs and classrooms. Our college also has CRIF and Siemens labs with all facilities. The quality of hostels and food is moderate, containing both north and south mess.
Faculty: Faculty are fully experienced with a lot of research knowledge. The quality of teaching and facilities are perfect and industry-oriented. Semester exams are somewhat difficult, and there is no gap between exams. Time is very crucial here, and we have to manage our time perfectly to get knowledge and grades.

My honest review of my college.
Placements: In the year 2021, we faced the pandemic problem, and still, more than 9 companies visited our college for internships like Nvidia, Microchip, Intel, MediaTek, AMD, Qualcomm, Marvel Semiconductor, etc. Every company will have a different way of conducting their exams, and some may directly shortlist based on our M.Tech CGPA for the interview. Some will have multiple stages like (M.Tech CGPA, then their respective exam cutoff + then the technical round, then HR) but almost every company followed the multiple shortlisting criteria method for the selection.
Infrastructure: Hostels are one of the best with a 1,000-1,800 student capacity with all facilities and continuous maintenance to be done. The mess food is not up to the mark and is unable to resolve due to various people all over the country.
Faculty: Teachers of our college are well qualified and helpful to students. They are mainly from NITs and IITs. They teach in a good mood and in a healthy environment. The course curriculum is 60% relevant, and the rest depends on an internship to be industry-ready.
Other: I chose the advanced communication systems course, which is more maths-oriented, so it is quite hard compared with other M.Tech branches such as VLSI and Embedded. So if anyone is going for an M.Tech in communication stream I would suggest brushing up on their maths and random variable topics before joining. The main disadvantage of the course are faculty members. There is no single faculty specialized in our courses compared to other department faculty members. However, they try up to their level.

Review of NIT Warangal - National Institute of Technology.
Placements: Placements are good. A lot of companies visit the National Institute of Technology, Warangal, for both full-time placement and internship opportunities. All kinds of companies visit the college such as software, core, etc. Students who are interested in other sectors can also apply.
Infrastructure: Hostels are pretty good but the distance from the hostel to the mess is too long that we have to walk for around 800 meters. All kinds of facilities are available in the college such as sports, gym, canteens, medical facilities, etc. The quality of food is good but we have to follow the mess timings.
Faculty: The exam curriculum is good and we can cover the syllabus a lot. Many advancements have been added to the syllabus. Faculty members are very helpful, especially in the projects. They guide us well. We can get all kinds of resources that we need for our project and to write a paper.

I would recommend joining this college if you want placements.
Placements: In my course 90% students got placed in the top companies such as L&T, TATA projects, Shapoorji Pallonji, WSP. Arvee, AFCONS, and V Construct. Top roles offered are management trainee, etc. The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Around 3 got an internship out of 27 remaining got through offline.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are old. There are cracks in the campus building, but the infrastructure is good. The lab facilities are also good. Wi-Fi facility is available in the hostel. We have open Wi-Fi. The food served in the mess is not good. We have street food on campus but everyone goes out for food. Medical facilities are good. They provide insurance. Our college provides sports facilities. We have a good indoor stadium and big ground. The library is an old building with no sufficient capacity for study if more students come at a time.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified but our branch has a shortage of faculty the standards are low we choosing electives from other departments due to the shortage, but the curriculum is very hectic 9- 5 classes in my first-year exams are also a little tough they are following 60: 40 rule 60 internal and 40 end exams internal mostly ppts and assignments. The pass percentage is 100%.
Other: I chose this because it contains 100% placements. They should recruit more faculty if possible compared with other colleges. A few events are conducted in our college. We have our cultural fest springs spree once a year no roaming places around campus we have all clubs it depends on your interest to participate no restriction.
