The B.Tech eligibility criteria of NIET is below. Eligibility: Candidate must have passed 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognised Board / University and securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) without grace in required each compulsory subjects and one optional subject was taken together. Admission criteria: JEE Main.

Admission to NIET for BTech courses can be possible via JEE Main exam. The candidates need to appear for JEE Main exam however, there is no specified percentage needed to get appear at NIET. Candidates can check here the detailed eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2025 prescribed by the NTA for appearing in the exam. All candidates must ensure their eligibility before applying for the exam, failing which their candidature will be cancelled.

• Candidates must have passed class 12 in 2023, 2024 or appearing in 2025.
• There is no minimum percentage required to appear in JEE Main however, candidates must secure a minimum of 75% marks in class 12 or get admission in IITs, NITs or IIITs. 
• Candidates must have Mathematics as a compulsory subject in class 12.
• There is no age limit to apply for JEE Main.

The NIET Noida UPTAC Cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the BTech courses for various categories under the All India and Home State quota. 

For the General HS quota, the cutoff ranged from 530529 to 1460325, wherein B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering was the hardest course for admission. 

Note: Other categories, rounds, quota, etc., cutoff will vary accordingly. 

The NIET Noida cutoff varies for each BTech specialisation. The most competitive cutoff in 2023 was for the BTech in Computer Science and Engineering course - 228214. Yes, the NIET Noida accept CUET scores for admission to its undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The university offers four undergraduate courses through CUET, which are:

• BBA
• BCA
• MBA/PGDM
• MCA

Yes, NIET Noida offers scholarships to SC and ST students. All the ST students who have appeared in the JEE or state-level joint entrance exam can apply for a scholarship.
