The B.Tech eligibility criteria of NIET is below. Eligibility: Candidate must have passed 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognised Board / University and securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) without grace in required each compulsory subjects and one optional subject was taken together. Admission criteria: JEE Main.

The candidate needs to appear for the JEE Exam and appear in online counselling of UPCAT. Candidate needs to opt NIET as the preferred choice in any of the branches offered by the institute. The college may conduct admission tests/on a merit basis/other criteria defined by the college admission policy.

Admission to NIET for BTech courses can be possible via JEE Main exam. The candidates need to appear for JEE Main exam however, there is no specified percentage needed to get appear at NIET. Candidates can check here the detailed eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2025 prescribed by the NTA for appearing in the exam. All candidates must ensure their eligibility before applying for the exam, failing which their candidature will be cancelled.

• Candidates must have passed class 12 in 2023, 2024 or appearing in 2025.
• There is no minimum percentage required to appear in JEE Main however, candidates must secure a minimum of 75% marks in class 12 or get admission in IITs, NITs or IIITs. 
• Candidates must have Mathematics as a compulsory subject in class 12.
• There is no age limit to apply for JEE Main.

The NIET Noida UPTAC Cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the BTech courses for various categories under the All India and Home State quota. 

For the General HS quota, the cutoff ranged from 530529 to 1460325, wherein B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering was the hardest course for admission.

Yes, direct admission is possible at Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology. Eligibility for admission to the various courses, intake, reservations, and admission process/procedures to the courses offered by AKTU is as per decided by the CAB/AKTU.  A total of 15% of the approved intake of a course is filled under this category as per the Govt. of UP and AKTU guidelines. Further, students must meet the eligibility criteria set by the institute.

CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted in May/June for 37 subjects. The mode of examination is CBT (Computer Based Test). NTA did not release official notification for CUET UG date sheet. Candidates can know exam details through CUET UG information bulletin. NTA will conduct CUET UG 2026 exam in multiple phases depending upon the number of candidates registering for the exam. Registered candidates can know the exact CUET UG exam on hall ticket. Candidates will have to report at the alloted exam centre on the day of the examination. The exam will be held in two slots each day depending upon the subject combinations chosen by the candidate.
