Odisha University of Technology and Research MTech Placements 2024

The highest package offered during Odisha University of Technology and Research Placements 2024 stood at INR 42 LPA. Further, a total of 576 offers were made during the placement drive in 2024. It is a bad college to study because of bad faculty members and no labs.

Placements: If you are pursuing M.Tech here, then you will not get a job. The only good thing about this college is it is situated in the capital city of Odisha, and it is a government college.

Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility for M.Tech students. There are no labs to do experiments, only study and imagine. If you are good at remembering page by page, then this college is for you. I stayed outside as hostels were not available, and I used to bring food from outside.

Faculty: There are no teachers for the M.Tech course except 1 or 2 teachers. Our college brings teachers from outside who are superior to these teachers. Those one or two teachers are gems, and they know the concept. I thought it would be fun to study these subjects, but all my money and interest was gone.

Other: I have chosen this course because I was very much interested in those subjects. It could have been more fun if there were good faculty members. There are no labs for M.Tech industrial engineering and management. They will not help you in your project work.

Improving year by year with quality education and facilities.

Placements: Most of the students from this course is joined higher education and research oriented programs and some of the students joined as a lecturer in different institutions. Major company comes for placement are IT services. Recently our junior has got some opportunities for internship programme.

Infrastructure: The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled with labs and library facilities. Separate study rooms also available. Hostel is fully Wi-Fi enabled with library, gym, indoor game hall. Mess food is good. For sports both indoor and outdoor play ground are available. Different sports events and groups are regularly conducted.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well qualified. Most of the faculty are qualified from national level institution like nits, IITs, IISC. This course is a very powerful research oriented course in electrical engineering. As in M.Tech paper publication defines the advantage of the course.

The best institute for technical studies in Odisha.

Placements: Very good placement records for the past 10-12 years. MNCs like TCS, Infosys, TVS Motors, Capegemini recruit almost 350-400 students every year. Special training classes along with curricular studies are maintained for better performance of students.

Infrastructure: This institution is one of the oldest and premiere organisation for engineering studies in the state. It has a state of art library with digital facilities and well-equipped laboratories for every subjects. It has different buildings for engineering studies, management studies, laboratories and administration. There are three canteens available inside the campus with stationery shops and fast food shops. The college has four different buildings to provide accommodation to students. Both boys' and girls' hostels are under cctv surveillance all the time. The campus has Wi-Fi network all over the places and GOT indoor gaming place as well as a dramatic hall.

Faculty: This institution is autonomous and afflicted to AICTE. This college provides seven streams of engineering studies for graduation as well as post graduation. In addition to that you can find integrated (5 years) courses for physics, chemistry and mathematics. This is the best college in Odisha to study architecture and planning (UG/PG). MBA is the new stream that is introduced by the institute to the existing MCA course. Certified courses by CTTC are provided to students over the year. Proper facilities for research and development are given by the college. The best thing about the college is the faculty members. One can easily find the best professors in the market inside a single campus that are ready to help you anytime.

Other: Scholarships are available on merit basis as well as the government scholarships are awarded to deserving candidates. The fee structure is very low and simple as compared to other institutions. Every year college organizes cultural fest, sports events and annual function. The college arranges study tours for students on a regular basis.

A review of CET, Bhubaneswar.

Placements: The college didn't provide any placements for post graduation courses. Only B.Tech students get placed in the college. Companies like TCS, Infosys, etc., recruit the majority of students. Very few students get placed in core companies like Maruti Suzuki and Tata Steel. There are no campus placements for M.Tech students. The course is only valid to increase your qualifications as you won't get any job from the college by pursuing M.Tech course.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. There are all kinds of labs available. But there are less number of faculty members in the college, and mostly guest or contract based lecturers take classes. The college charges a very high fee. There are a CAD lab and free Wi-Fi facility available across the campus. The college also provides hostels at cheap rates. The meal offered in the canteen is good. Faculty members in the college are very good and have a positive attitude. All staff members in the lab are helpful.

Faculty: All the senior faculty members are best in class. They have a vast knowledge of the subject matter. The course covers all necessary subjects that are required for a structural engineer, like composite structure, bridge engineering, advanced reinforced concrete design, etc. Faculty members also provide you notes of the topics. There is also a library in the college where you can issue up to 4 books. The faculty to student ratio is 1:30. There was a seminar on major or minor projects every quarter.

Other: My course is a self-funding one. The fee for M.Tech structural engineering is double the fee for other courses.

As this is a government college, you can rely on great and good future.

Placements: As for now, the placements are not yet conducted to our batch and our senior batch, it depends on the college requirement, and the campus placement department still has to work on placements. For B.Tech candidates, the placements are very good and pretty sure that the college will provide you with some offer. The placements are not provided for M.Tech in this college, the opportunity is less in terms higher education, and well it depends.

Infrastructure: The college has all the facilities including the hostels. The quality of desk is little old in this college. Sports ground is available in this college, and it hosts many inter-college sports like cricket, football, and some indoor games as well. I am happy with what they did to the environment, and pretty sure that there would be no such atmosphere to be around.

Faculty: The college has very qualified teachers, but professors are few depending on the courses offered. There are many faculty members in this college, but very experienced is needed because one who is very experienced are switching to other colleges where they are provided with better salary compared to this college, and that can be sorted out.

Other: This college is a happening place, depends on your interest, but the college has all sorts of activities.

If engineering in Odisha, only in CET and nowhere else. The best college of Odisha.

Placements: 80% of the students were placed in the previous years while the rest were preferring for higher studies. The students who got placed were having a salary more than their expectations. If we go for 3-4 years of placement records, they it is increasing every year.

Infrastructure: Our college provides Wi-Fi with secured by individual user ID and password. We can access the journals and can learn more from the e-library. It also contains high-tech AC smart rooms for every department individually. There is one central library as well as an individual library for each department. A reading room with AC facilities is available for every student. A lab is available for all modern facilities. Overall, it is the best college in infrastructure.

Faculty: The faculty members are highly educated. All are passed from various NITs and IITs and are having a vast knowledge of theory as well as practical. The best thing is that they are very cooperative. I would like to refer all colleges to be like this, well-behaved and always in the preference of students.
