DAT evaluates a candidates' aptitude for creativity, drawing, design ability, power of observation and imagination, sensitivity to environment and communication skills.

Pearl Academy Rajouri offers PG Diploma with a duration of two years in Accessory Design, Advertising & Marketing, Fashion Design & Technology, Communication Design & Technology, Fashion Communication, Fashion Styling & Image Design, Interaction Design (UX/ UI), Interaction Design (UX/ UI) and Media. Aspirants must pass graduation in any stream from a recognised university to apply for PG Diploma courses. Additionally, admission to PG Diploma courses is based on entrance exam conducted by the academy.

The academy provides 'Who's Next Scholarship' to meritorious students. This is a merit-based scholarship. Applicants will be offered the Who’s Next Scholarship based on their performance in the Pearl Entrance Exam which includes written exam, personal interview, and portfolio showcase. Pearl Academy applicants of academic year 2023 are eligible for the Who’s Next Scholarship. Applicants are not required to apply for the Scholarship separately. All students who have applied for admission to UG & PG courses, have taken the Pearl Academy entrance examination, and have met the following stated criteria shall be eligible for consideration for this scholarship. Scholarship waives payment of tuition fees for the entire duration of the course. However, the scholarship will only be continued in the subsequent years subject to the student/ awardee maintaining prescribed standards of achievement .

Step 4: Personal Interview (including portfolio evaluation / material handling skill test for Design streams). Step 5: All candidates are required to undergo a Personal Interview after the Written Admission Test at their respective Entrance Examination center /Personal Interview center's mentioned on their Admit Card. Step 6: Applicants may apply for any or multiple admission cycle simultaneously by applying separately by filling a fresh application form for each cycle.

Students willing to apply for admission to any of the UG/ PG courses at Pearl Academy may apply provisionally but they need to produce a self-attested copy of the mark sheets/ degrees. In case, they are unable to submit the required documents by the stipulated deadline, the provisional admission is liable to be cancelled and they have no claim to the fee paid as per the Pearl Academy's refund policy.
