As my college has just become autonomous, it has many good things.
Placements: In my college, approximately 80% of the students get placed, and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA, the highest is around 30 LPA, and the average is about 5-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Wipro. Top roles offered in my course are software developer, data analyst, and data scientist.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is good, but sometimes it does not connect well. Labs also have the equipment that is required, and classrooms are good, but in the summer, they are a bit hot. The library has all the books that are required. The facilities of the hostel are good, and the mess food is pretty much good, but sometimes I do not like to eat.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful in many ways, and the teaching quality is very good. As the college has just become autonomous, they have added C+, OOPS, C, and Python in programming languages. Assignments are given in each semester, which are good. Semester exams are not that difficult.

The college is good, and I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: 40% of students in the 1st-semester pass, 55% of students fail, and 5% are arrested for cheating in my batch. I am included in the 40% who pass. The average package is around 3 to 3.5 LPA, the highest package is 15 LPA, and the lowest package is around 2.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The library, classrooms, labs, and Wi-Fi are all available. The quality of the facilities in hostel life is very enjoyable. However, the quality of food in the mess and canteen is not good, but medical facilities are available. Sports and games are held on many days, and grounds are available.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly with students, and the quality of teaching is very good. The teachers are knowledgeable, and many of them have passed out from IITs and are qualified with an MS. The first semester is difficult compared to the second semester, like Maths.

This college is good for placement and industry training for students.
Placements: Around 60 students are placed in this course. The highest package is around 30 LPA. There are many recruiting companies, and around 80% of the students get recruited from this college. The top role offered by our college is head manager in the software department to a fresher. There are somehow Tata companies for placements, like TCSion.
Infrastructure: There are many facilities in the college, like a library where we can issue books without any cost. The hostel quality on campus is good, and the food quality is also good. There is a small medical facility, but there is no medical room, so we have to take anyone to a nearby hospital for any issues. There are also some kind of sports facilities in our college, including a personal ground for students to practice.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful on campus and are very qualified. The course curriculum is also relevant and makes students industry-ready. However, the semester exams are somewhat tough for students. There are subjects like BEE and Engineering Physics, which are hard to pass. The pass percentage is 33.33% in all exams, and you also have to pass the internal and external exams.

About college and infrastructure.
Placements: The college provides good resources and placement preparation. The teachers are also supportive. The top recruits are Celebal Technology, Flipkart, Capgemini, TCS, GVK, IBM, etc. The lowest placement lies between 2.5 and 2.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: About the infrastructure, it is quite average. You have access to a good Wi-Fi connection on the college campus. Sports facilities are quite good. You have access to games like cricket, volleyball, etc. Mess food quality is quite average.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and supportive. They have good qualifications and sufficient knowledge of their domain. They make the students industry-ready. Semester exams are not as difficult as they appear. In college, 75% attendance is mandatory to sit in exams.

Placements are good on average; it all depends on the student's skill in his/her profession.
Placements: Approximately 40-50% are placed in my course. The highest package is 40-45 LPA, the average package is 5-14 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.5 LPA. Amazon, Flipkart, Infosys, and TCS are the top recruiting companies for my course. 60-70% of students get an internship from our course at BOSCH, NTPC, etc. A software developer is the role offered in my course.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are almost good. All the labs and classrooms are also maintained. The books are available in the library, which are sufficient, so that we can prepare for the competitive exam and clear the exam. The hostel facilities are good, but the food available in the mess is not tasty at all; it's okay. The canteen has all the good things. The medical facilities are there, but in case of emergency, they do not have things like bandages, dettol, a strap so that we can self-bandage, and sports and games facilities are also good.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. They have done a Ph.D. in their own subjects, but some teachers' way of teaching is not satisfactory. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are a little bit harder, and 60% of students qualify for these exams.
Other: I just want to say that in my course, there is no need for Electrical, Mechanical, Physics, and Chemistry, so it is unnecessary to study them.

Q:   Can I get admission in Poornima College of Engineering for B.Tech with 60% in Class 12th?
    ShikshaGPT says
    A:

Poornima College of Engineering (PCE) is a reputed engineering institution in India, known for its academic excellence and high standards of education. The college offers undergraduate programs in various disciplines such as Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering.

The admission process for B.Tech at PCE is based on the marks obtained in the JEE Main or JEE Advanced exams. However, the college also offers lateral entry admission to students who have completed a Diploma or B.Sc programme in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates).

In your case, since you have scored 60% in Class 12th, you are not eligible for direct admission to B.Tech at PCE through JEE Main or JEE Advanced. However, you can consider pursuing a Diploma or B.Sc programme in a relevant discipline and then applying for lateral entry admission to B.Tech at PCE.

The Diploma programme in Engineering (3 years) offered by PCE is equivalent to the first two years of B.E/B.Tech programs. The Diploma programme covers the basic principles and concepts of engineering and provides students with practical skills and knowledge required for higher studies or employment. The college also offers B.Sc programs in Computer Science and Information Technology, which provide students with a strong foundation in computer Science and information technology principles and concepts.

The eligibility criteria for Diploma programs at PCE are:

    - For Lateral Entry: Students who have passed 10+2 (HSC) or its equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics/Chemistry as compulsory subjects and obtained a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) are eligible to apply for lateral entry admission to the second year of the Diploma program.
    - For Direct Admission: Students who have passed 10th standard with Science stream and obtained a minimum of 35% marks are eligible to apply for direct admission to the first year of the Diploma program.

The eligibility criteria for B.Sc programs at PCE are:

    - For Lateral Entry: Students who have passed 10+2 (HSC) or its equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics/Chemistry as compulsory subjects and obtained a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) are eligible to apply for lateral entry admission to the second year of the B.Sc program.
    - For Direct Admission: Students who have passed 10th standard with Science stream and obtained a minimum of 35% marks are eligible to apply for direct admission to the first year of the B.Sc program.

In conclusion, while you may not be eligible for direct admission to B.Tech at PCE through JEE Main or JEE Advanced with your Class 12th score, you can consider pursuing a Diploma or B.Sc programme at PCE and then applying for lateral entry admission to B.Tech based on your performance in the diploma/B.Sc program. This will provide you with an opportunity to gain practical skills and knowledge required for higher studies or employment while also improving your chances of securing admission to B.Tech at PCE through lateral entry.
