I'm satisfied with the college life in PSG College of Technology.
Placements: Around 50% of students are recruited on campus while several others choose higher studies. The highest package is 25 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. The recruiting companies are Siemens and Cipla. Around 20% of students got internships in top companies.
Infrastructure: The college is provided with free Wi-Fi in every nook and corner. The department has its own library and labs are provided with clean equipments in good working conditions. The hostel facilities are good. The management solve most of the problems we put forth and the food is also good both in mess and canteen.
Faculty: The teachers are strong in their domains and deliver the concepts correctly. The course curriculum is relevant and students are well prepared to work in industries. The semester exams are moderate but given the input students are able to tackle the examinations.
Other: Biomedical at PSG College of Technology molds students to adapt to the fast-changing future. More practice with real equipment could help us learn with interest. Events are rare and almost no celebrities are being invited for events but other career-related events are frequent.

Learn a lot and enjoy your hostel.
Placements: TCS and Infosys are the leading firms that pick our students. Core placements are very rare. 40% of the students got placed and remaining went for higher studies. Majorly students get placed as programmer analyst trainee. Since our coursework has more programming courses.
Infrastructure: Hostel is phenomenal with best food as compared to other colleges. Department is good with great library and internet. Hostel has great facilities for all sort of sports like volleyball, sepak tekra, football, tennis, handball, etc. You can also participate in multiple competitions which hostel conducts.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and will help you work with them and publish journals if needed. Teachers are well qualified. Course curriculum has to be improved in order to match to GATE syllabus. You can pass easily if you observe all classes and study just before exam.
Other: Course need to have more syllabus from GATE. I have chosen the course based on the suggestion of my father. Coursework will really help if you want to do MS abroad. There are vast number of clubs which can make you a better personality.

Be it hostel or college, it is a great place to be in.
Placements: 40% of students got placed. The average package offered was around 5-6 LPA. Recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Zifo etc. The internship percentage was around 60%. Internships are provided in startup healthcare companies. Most of them got placed in non-core companies. So, if you are good at coding, the placement is 100% guaranteed.
Infrastructure: The department is very good in terms of labs and classrooms. Labs are hi-tech. Hostel accommodation is extremely good. Food is the best as compared to the other colleges. Sports facilities are good, including some rare sports like Sepak Takra.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful if you are ready to study extra hours and put in your efforts. The course curriculum includes C, C+, Python etc. So, in case if you are interested in analytics, then you can delve deep. Semester exams are easy for those who listen to classes.
Other: Most of the students aim for Masters abroad. Events in PSG are phenomenal. There are several clubs in which we can take part. NCC, NSS, students union, etc., are also present.

It is a good college in Tamil Nadu.
Placements: A core company named Zifo and IT sectors like CTS, TCS, Infosys and Wipro visited our college. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA. Placements are comparatively less in our department. Nearly 75% of the students got their internships during the 8th semester, and other students did their project work in college.
Infrastructure: Our college and hostel infrastructure are good. It has well-furnished labs and a library, and all the equipment are in good condition. The quality of the food is moderate, but you cannot expect home food. Bathroom cleaning is done once a week. Ground and indoor stadiums are available.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, and they guide us in the right direction. They help us with internships and projects. The course curriculum is relevant, and it is executed. Separate sessions are available for C programming. Placement programs are also available.

Best college in TN. Hostel is the heaven i'd say. Can learn all the things. Best place to study PSG.
Placements: For this department, only one core company will come for on-campus. They will select 3-5 students. Otherwise you can get placed in a core company where you did your internship for your final year project. Then IT companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro, Infosys, accenture etc. Will come for us. Musigma, mckensy, temenos, Zoho will come also. Other than this you can try off-campus.
Infrastructure: Labs and instruments are good. Superb library facility where you can get any book. Canteen food is good. Canteen food is good quality. Hostel in here is the bestest thing. Hostel for is very good on non-veg day. We will have hostel day in every year where we will conduct ask the events for hostellers as well as day scholars. Dance competition, big buffet, music concert, etc. I You will have all the fun on the world. Best infrastructure.
Faculty: Staffs are very friendly, helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching is good. Class room teaching is there. Course curriculum is not that much good. They should change it. Classes will be very fun and interactive. You will have industrial visits for two semesters. You can visit the core companies and learn the important of our department.
Other: Best thing in here is all the events and club activities. Scholarship is available. College is inside the city not located on a remote area. We can get all the extracurricular things.

Absolutely satisfied with faculty and placements, but infrastructure needs to be developed.
Placements: The placements for our batch and our senior batch were better from our previous batches, where 90% of the placement opted students got placed. The salary packages offered was 24 LPA, 3 LPA and 9LPA as the highest, the lowest and average packages respectively. Well reputed MNC's visited our college this year. The main roles offered were a junior engineer and research assistant. The students who don't have arrears are eligible to go for an internship. Most of the students will go for an internship. Some companies intake students as the unpaid interns, and some may offer stipend up to 30K per month. The placement cell in our college is hyperactive, keeps on conducting the placement classes and training sessions that are very useful for us.
Infrastructure: In the infrastructure, we are little backward when compared with other colleges. But we have well-sophisticated labs and modernised library, a separate playground and clinic for us. Most of the labs in our college were sponsored by MNC's so that we are up to date in technology. Quality of food in our canteen is very good. Our campus was surrounded by blocks, no trees and free space that makes little hard for the students.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and well qualified. The teaching quality will differ from one teacher to another, but most of them were good. The board and chalk, powerpoint if needed and with practical sessions were conducted. The student to faculty ratio will be 30:1. Our college is attached to industries hence we get a lot more industrial exposure than others. Our curriculum will be revised every year so that recent technology will be updated yearly.
Other: We conduct many events in our college, but participants should be from our college only for most of the events. We conduct events like Dramatix (film fest) and Tech Music (music fest). The scholarship will be provided for students under government norms, and we have so many clubs on our campus to conduct extracurricular activities.

College campus too good. Your course is completed 2 months after the convection.
Placements: My college placement is very good.
The students are only selected based on the performance. The placement training will be provided.
Placements will be coming by the 7th semester onwards, the starting companies are management companies and after that, step by step, core and IT companies will be coming.
Actually, my course is biomedical. Core companies are coming, but most of them are IT-oriented.
Before placements, instructions will be given.
Slot sharing companies offer 3.5 lakhs package, and 6 or 7 days continuously, companies will come.
Big package companies have a 3 or 4 days gap between them.
Top MNC companies are only allowed for my college.
Placement is 100% which is good in my college.
In the 6th semester, students who have no backlogs, extra subjects are only given for that, means fast track courses. If you fail the 8th semester in 2 subjects with the project also studied, you can pass the 7th semester, take one subject extra then in the 8th semester, go for internships in top MNC companies.
Infrastructure: PSG infrastructure is too good.
It is a Wi-Fi campus.
Students can easily understand the subjects, faculties are senior professor.
Smart classrooms are also there.
Each semester has 2 presentations for each subject.
If you are interested in sports, join the sports club also. The class will be over then you can go to play the game.
There is one building as the library block with department subject books, GK, stories and aptitude books available.
You scan your ID card take minimum 7 or 10 books, which you need to return within 15 days otherwise fine will be added to your name.
Laboratory subject-wise, well-known faculty members will be there. At the time, any doubt will be clarified.
A medical facility also provided for evening 5 PM to 9 AM for any problem and to check your health.
The hostel infrastructure is good. Room-related charges will be collected.
You need a 2-members room to pay for that amount. Otherwise, 5 or 7 members rooms are also available. If you need an attached bathroom, you need to pay a higher charge amount. Bathrooms are cleaned all day, and faculty members will be available. Morning canteen will be open for 6.30 am to 10.30, afternoon 12 to 2.30 and evening 7 to 10 pm, otherwise, it is closed. The tea break is in the evening 3 to 4 with milk, tea coffee, sugar and snacks provided and biscuits puff, samosa is also given. Movies are screened once every 2months. It shows new movies after disco dance with friends. The hostel life is the most memorable day. Wi-Fi is also provided in the hostel.
Faculty: My course is biomedical engineering, purposly to apply mathematics,science, engineering and biology. Each subject has well-known faculty advisors. If any doubt, the faculty members will clear my problem. Teaching is totally different in my college.
The students are easily understanding the method which is practical-oriented teaching.
Biomedical has one subject for hospital-oriented teaching which is a weekly Monday and Thursday visit to the hospital for learning about the biomedical equipment(EXCT, MRI, X-ray etc). Many biomedical equipment are available in the department laboratory. Any time, technical staff members are available in college time if you inform them before.
Biomedical equipment and how to handle, use and troubleshoot them, a workshop for that will be conducted.
Other: Extracurricular activity is the best in the PSG campus.
Club activity is very useful for placements.
Many workshops will be conducted, you can pay the charges and attend the workshop which is very useful for subject knowledge.
You can join the hostel for more information and gather information from friends(ex.subject or placement-oriented).
PSG college is the best college for UG courses.

Placements: Great opportunities for jobs with high packages per year are available. The campus brings many top companies for interviews. Skills are very important in campus interviews. The college helps in every way to improve the skills of students by organizing and conducting many placement classes.
Infrastructure: The hostel is safe and secure, with a gym, Wi-Fi, and study room facilities. There is a 24-hour water supply, and no issues in the hostel. The food is moderate, with many dishes served every day. Playgrounds are available separately for boys and girls, with many games for all levels of competition next to the hostel itself.

Hello Vignesh,
Since PSG is a reputed Institute, you need to have a good cut off score. For biomedical engineering, your cut off should be at least above 195 and if you belong to OC then your cut off should be even more higher.
