Absolutely best college to enroll .
Placements: More than 96 percentage of the students were placed and currently working in respective companies.
The highest package offered is 5.5lakh per annum and the lowest is 3.5lakh per annum.
Zifo, Medtronic, CTS, TCS and Mindtree are the top recruiters. Associate engineer is the role they offered.
Infrastructure: We have smart classrooms with Wi-Fi connection all over the campus. We have a separate department library and a common library. The labs are quite good. Here they provide only vegetarian food with only egg. No non-veg is available in the campus. They give importance to sports and games. Medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: The teaching quality is at the best. Yes the course is curriculum relevant and very advanced. Yes they make the students industry ready to face new challenges.
The semester exams will be easy if you are attending regularly your class. Pass percentage is 50.

It is an excellent college for placements.
Placements: About 60% of students got placed in the previous year. The highest salary package offered is 11 LPA. Top recruiters are Zoho, TVS, TCS, L&T, and Hyundai. The top role offered in our course is app developer.
Infrastructure: Our college is fully furnished. It has a hostel and very good lab facilities. Each classroom is equipped with a digital TV for learning purposes. I am dissatisfied with the lack of connectivity to Wi-Fi since our college is located outside. Sports and games are good.
Faculty: Our college has very experienced professors. Everyone has 10 to 15 years of experience. Some courses are lab-embedded, which makes students grasp the knowledge both in theory and practice. Semester exams are quite easy, with a passing percentage of 50%.
Other: I chose this course to gain knowledge about machines and the design of machines. Since our course is lab-embedded, it's quite easy to gain knowledge about machines by doing practical work rather than theory.

It is the best college with green atmosphere.
Placements: Almost 80% of students with 75% attendance and no arrears history are placed and also minimum of 5 lacs to 15 lacs package is offered. Top companies recruiting like TCS, Amazon, Hyundai, Capgemini, Hitachi, pega, virutsa, Wipro, Infosys, mindtree, Zoho etc.
Infrastructure: In whole college, there is free Wi-Fi facility and also library books with knowledge of all engineering carriers and also journals and research papers etc. And all classrooms are under cctv monitoring and also with Android screens and also medical clinic with basic facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are well trained and also with excellent knowledge and being updated themselves to present and taught to students and sincere in their duty. College provide lots of industrial training, workshop, Industrial visits etc. Since it is an autonomous institution, semester examinations are almost easy to students because of well training of teachers.
Other: Biomedical Engineering the best course to work in the medical fields after BE and I wish to develop lots about in this field in our state. Sports day is conducted by the college every year to improve the students skills and also lots inner and outer related competitions.

I am satisfied with this college in all aspects.
Placements: The top roles offered were biomedical engineer, equipment functionality analyst. Around 50% of students were placed in our course. The top recruiting companies were Zifo, Episource, and Capgemini. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The lowest salary offered was Rs 12,000 per month, and the average salary offered was Rs 15,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was average. Some complaints were raised related to food. The food was average but the double menu was there. If students do not like one food, then they can choose another one. Catering service should change the service and food taste. The food was not good, but students can eat it.
Faculty: It is an autonomous college so the semester exams were not difficult when compared to Anna Universities. The semester exam question papers were designed by our college staff. Some question papers only from outside staff. Most probably, the question papers from college staff students will get.

It is worthy to Join REC because of its facilities and good placements in 2021.
Placements: REC is one of the top colleges in Tamil Nadu. It has excellent placement opportunities, especially for CS and IT departments. The average salary package offered is around 5 to 6 LPA. Core opportunities are fewer in the biomedical department. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Amazon, Cognizant, Wipro and Infosys. In the biomedical department, internships are offered from GE Healthcare and Capgemini, but it is based on the clearance of the exam.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good and has a green environment. Food quality is good. Hostel facilities are also decent. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Classrooms and labs are spacious and good. Medical facilities are available, and air-conditioned transportation facilities are available. Sports facilities are also available, including a basketball court and football pitch.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly. Teaching quality is good. They are very knowledgeable, and they make students industry-ready and keep them up to date. Attending the class regularly and performing well in the internal exams is enough to pass the final examination with good grades.
Other: I am from the 2021 batch. I was interested in both biology and engineering, so I have chosen this course. In this course, we can learn about all the aspects of engineering, including physiological sciences, circuits and systems and also programming languages. Events conducted is Recharge, which is an intercollegiate cultural fest.

No, without mathematics, how will you appear for the engineering entrance exams. In engineering entrance exams, you are tested for three subjects mainly physics, chemistry and mathematics. So, you need to have mathematics, as your one of subjects either in main or optional form.

Hello Sridhar,
As REC is affiliated to Anna University, the admission is via counseling where you need to have a good cut off marks. This score varies for each category like OC, BC etc. It is sufficient to have a cut-off of 190 and above to get BME.
