Kumaraguru is a good college for an overall experience. Enjoy college life with good opportunities.

Placements: About 70% of students got placed every year. Eligible students mostly get placed. But if you have arrears and did not opt for the campus placements, you will not get a chance to be placed in the campus interview. Top companies that recruit our students are Solitone Technologies, Delta Electronics, and more. As my college is located in Coimbatore, many companies from Coimbatore may come for the placements. There are many possibilities to get an internship. Our college faculty members provide more opportunities by giving information about the available internship offers, but it is your responsibility to grab them.

Infrastructure: Our college provides a vast green environment. There are Wi-fi facilities everywhere. Every classroom has projectors for PPT presentations. Our labs are good, but I would not say the best, i.e., mechatronics engineering. There is a central library with Wi-fi facility and library computers that students can use. There is a medical clinic present on the college campus and a free ambulance facility for transportation. My hostel life is good with well-maintained hostel buildings, Wi-fi facilities, room cleaning, laundry facilities, and gym are available. Mess food is good compared to other colleges, but it is pure vegetarian. Sports are encouraged in our college.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and supportive if approached. There is a feedback system in our college. For every subject, every semester, there is feedback taken at the end. Students can share their thoughts on a specific faculty or a specific subject. Our semester exams are based on the course outcome, which ensures quality education. The pass percentage is 50%. Apart from the basic curriculum, our faculty members encourage us to participate in more co-curricular activities like hackathons and events at other colleges.

Other: Our college conducts many events throughout the academic year. You cannot expect more from a cultural event. There is only one big cultural event called Yugam that happens in February or March. But there will be many technical-related events happening throughout the year. For extracurricular activities, there are clubs and forums in which you can participate and enhance your college experience. Our college provides its scholarship for students who are good in academics and excel in extracurricular activities. It also provides all information about the available scholarships, from which I also benefited.

Very satisfied, very low fee collected compared to other colleges.

Placements: I am studying in my first year in Mechatronics Engineering. As my seniors said, internships are provided to almost every student. The average package is about 6LPA. Almost 80% of students are getting placed in the past years. Many multinational companies do visit our college.

Infrastructure: As I am a day scholar, I don't know much about hostels. But my friends said that food is very good and they don’t provide non-veg in our campus except eggs. There is a separate lab for every subject. Food in the canteen is good and the price is also normal.

Faculty: The teachers are qualified and dedicated to their teaching. Teachers are easy to approach and friendly with students. Two interns per semester. Two semesters per year. Exams in the college are quite difficult. The pass percentage is 50%.

It is a wonderful college with a good crowd, infrastructure, and faculty.

Placements: Core placements are decent but IT placements are good. The highest salary package offered is 25 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Around 75-80% of students get placed in the mechatronics engineering department.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are top-notch. The quality of the food is very good. The library is a very nice place to be. Labs of the mechatronics engineering department have all facilities that are needed to study the course knowing every corner of it.

Faculty: Teachers are very qualified. The curriculum is very industry-oriented. There are two internal exams. The first internal exam is a bit tough but it will be easy once students get a hold of it. Semester exams will be very easy if students listen in class. Students cannot pass by studying on the last day.

Other: The Yugam is the best event in the surroundings of Coimbatore.

My second home. Kumaraguru College of Technology.

Placements: Placements were good for computer Science and information technology and average placement for Electrical, electronics and mechanical streams. Pretty decent for construction too. Average of 70% were selected but most of them are placed in service based companies.

Infrastructure: Kumaraguru College of Technology is known for its infrastructure. And it is getting better day by day. There is everything available in KCT. The duty of the student is just to explore them. Wi-Fi for all. Air conditioned library, neat and smart classrooms, best faculty members for all streams, sports and games.

Faculty: KCT has a mixture of young set of people who are well knowledgeable, qualified and also experienced set of faculty members. They use smart ways to make the student understand easily. Practical sessions, video lessons, prototypes. KCT never fails to surprise you.

This is an honest review of Kumaraguru College of Technology.

Placements: The placements of the college are very low which is the same as other colleges. Core companies don't recruit many students. About 50% of the students get placed, and others opt for higher studies. The minimum salary offered was Rs. 20,000 per month and the maximum was Rs. 80,000 per month. About 100 people get internships, and the stipend ranges from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 20,000.

Infrastructure: The main block is truly awesome. The new library is huge, it has huge database, and many books are available. Lab facilities are good. The classrooms are equipped with projectors and comfortable desks. Wi-Fi is available only in the cafeteria and is slow. There is a huge playground with many sports facilities. Only vegetarian food is available. Hostels are good.

Faculty: Teachers are friendly and explain the subjects clearly. Everyone has industrial experience. The faculty also prepare slideshows. They are also planning to have choice based subjects soon. The student to teacher ratio is about 20:1. The syllabus is standard like in every other college.

Other: Yugam is a cultural event that takes place in February. Lots of events, workshops and seminars are regularly conducted. We have more than 20 clubs.
