The college is very good for only study purposes, it is not for any extra activities.
Placements: About 50% of students were placed in our college. The highest package is about 25 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 10 LPA - 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Caterpillar, and National Instruments. Around 35% of students got internships from nearby companies. Top roles offered are assistant manager in plants, designer, and senior engineer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in the campus. Labs are provided with all facilities. Classrooms are good. Everything is well-maintained and clean. The library is available in a good manner. The library is spacious. The hostel rooms are good. Rooms are good enough. The food served in the mess is good. Medical, sports, and games facilities are okay.
Faculty:
Our faculty members are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult. Students who have good knowledge can score good marks. The pass percentage is 50%.

Other: A place where the air is filled with opportunities and leaves the grabbing part to students. The best part about the campus is the atmosphere and the facilities. It has industrial exposure as well. It doesn't spoon feed students and has an excellent library facility. I was fortunate to get a chance to be a part of the student's exchange programme and did one semester at the University of South Australia in Adelaide. That definitely had an additional input to my moulding.

Decent college to finish UG.
Placements: Almost everyone without a standing arrear got placed. The lowest is 4 LPA and the highest is 24 LPA. The average is around 8LPA. You get a lot of core companies every year like Caterpillar, Bosch, Exxon Mobile, etc. College has a great alumni network. You'll get a lot of exposure throughout your college life.
Infrastructure: All facilities are good. There is nothing to complain about. Except girls have a curfew at 6:30 PM. They have a hospital nearby, where students can have free consultations without any fees. Also, get free medicine if there is a letter from hostel warden.
Faculty: Most teachers aren't paid very well. So they might show their frustration on students. They update the course curriculum every 4 years. Listening to classes is enough to clear most of the papers. Clubs aren't how they used to be before. Still the exposure is reasonably good if you make use of it.
Other: It would be better if staff were paid better.

Q: What are the admission criteria for BTech and MTech in PSGCT?
A:
For admission to BTech at PSGCT, candidates must have passed in Class 12 from a recognized board with a minimum 45% aggregate. Admissions in the college are offered on the basis of a valid TNEA or (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) score followed by counselling.
For MTech, selections are done on the basis of TANCET or GATE but the first preference is given to GATE score. The candidate must have a degree of BTech/BE in a relevant specialization from a recognized board for admission in a MTech programme.
