It's the best college for a career, but the worst for overall development.
Placements: Almost 90-95% students are placed in campus placements with an average package of 6-8 LPA. Many students crack off-campus placements with impressive salary packages. College provides very good opportunities for those seeking a career in information technology. Top companies like Nvidia, PhonePe, Veritas, OneCard, Mastercard, BNY, etc., visit the campus every year. Very few students from the ENTC branch get paid campus internships.
Infrastructure: Labs are pretty good. The hostel is okay, but the college canteen is very bad. Sometimes pests are also found in college canteen food. The canteen is totally disgusting.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful for those seeking help, but are also not very interested in teaching the syllabus. Very strict about assignments and attendance. Sem exams are pretty difficult, testing our holistic aptitude and ratta-ability. Almost 98-99% students pass. Faculty is very strict.
Other: I chose this course because of the college's reputation and placement opportunities. The best thing about my course is that it pushes your limits every time in every sem exam. I think reducing the attendance criteria for theory lectures will improve the curriculum so that students can focus on self-study and skill learning. Very bad college from the POV of college events and fests. Only one fest (very boring) is arranged once a year, in which only freshers are interested (because they don’t know the reality). I promise you, everyone finds it boring in SY and onwards. The course is also hectic from the POV of campus placements, which are heavily focused on the IT sector.

About Pune Institute of Computer Technology, Pune shines at placements.
Placements: The percentage of students placed is 80% until now. The highest package is 60 LPA, and the lowest is 8 LPA. Recruiting companies are Amazon and PhonePe. 40% of students got internships. Software engineer role is being offered at the college. College provides full support in job selection.
Infrastructure: College provides very good facilities and infrastructure. In our IT department, teachers are highly qualified and very experienced. College also provides high Wi-Fi network in college and lab rooms. Canteen has hygienic food. It has medical facilities. It also has a small ground to play.
Faculty: Teachers are very experienced and also very helpful in understanding the topic thoroughly. They are knowledgeable and have done Ph.D.s in various fields also. Course is relevant and makes students industry-ready. College semester exams are tough with respect to syllabus.

PICT is a good college with a bad campus but a good technical crowd and above average placements.
Placements: My college is one of the best placement colleges in Pune in engineering tech field. It has about 80-90% placement rate for the non-core (CS IT) branches whereas for ENTC the rate is close to 55 to 60%. The average package in CS and IT is close to 10 LPA whereas in ENTC it is close to 6 LPA. Top recruitment company on campus has been PhonePe with 33 LPA. The percentage of students who get internships is about 50% with about 25% getting paid. Top roles ordered here vary but they are mostly junior developer.
Infrastructure: College has a very small campus area about 4.5 to 5 acres. Also, the infrastructure is not so great still they are making a few changes but building some new floors. The quality of Wi-Fi is good enough but the library is small and can't accommodate more than 25% of college students at a time. The quality of food in the college hostel mess is good enough. But there is no non-veg facility. The sports facility doesn't include all sports. It mostly focused on basketball and volleyball.
Faculty: Most of the department teachers are well-qualified along with proper experience in their field. They also have really good teaching skills. Although some new teachers are present in first year department who need to be a bit more experienced. The course curriculum has undergone a lot of changes, and it seems relevant to the current market. Semester exams for us are a bit difficult as our year is the first year of autonomy so we don't have any PYQs to practice from.
Other: I chose IT because of my interest in computers. It was the best course that I was getting in my MHT CET course compared to other colleges and Pune was close to my city. Talking about improvement in my course if I had gone sports round, I might have got CS but the fee would have been a bit more. The campus being small we don't have that great if extraordinary activities or fests they are the downside of my college. Also, there are a lot of changes in scholarship which are private or government.

College review of PICT of information technology course.
Placements: 90% of students are placed. The highest package is 50 LPA, and the lowest is 12 LPA. Average package is around 20 LPA. Top companies are PhonePe, Accenture, and Infosys. Roles offered to the students are in software development engineering.
Infrastructure: All classes, labs, and library have Wi-Fi. All are nice and tidy. The quality of hostel is good. It also has good food quality in the mess and canteen. It has medical facility. Sports ground is quite small, and combined for basketball and volleyball.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to students, and are highly qualified to teach us. The semester papers are easy compared to the unit test papers. The students are ready for the industrial area. The students are placed in Phonepe, and highly relevant to this course.
Other: Government scholarships are provided.

Everything is well defined.
Placements: At PICT (Pune Institute of Computer Technology) the placement record for our course has been consistently strong over the years. 92 percent students are placed in the most recent placement season, reflecting the institute's dedication to me.
Infrastructure: Our department offers smart classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, well-equipped computer labs, and a rich library. Hostels have decent rooms, hygienic mess food, canteen variety, 24X7 medical support, and excellent sports facilities for indoor and outdoor games.
Faculty: Teachers at PICT are highly qualified, approachable, and supportive. The teaching quality is strong, blending theory with practical insights. The curriculum is regularly updated and industry-relevant, focusing on core teach skills. Semester exams are moderately challenging but fair. With proper preparation, students can perform well. Pass percentage remains consistently high, around 95%, reflecting both effective teaching and student engagement.
Other: Everyone is part of the computer engineering batch of 2025 at PICT. I chose this course for its strong tech base and career scope. The fests, coding culture, campus crowd and extracurricular activities are great. More industry projects would make it even better. Things are good here.

PICT Pune – a perfect college for engineering students.
Placements: About 90 percent students are placed in 2023-24. the highest packages is approximately 48lpa and the lowest is approximately 3-4 LPA. Recruiting companies include Adobe, Atlassian, Barclays, Mastercard, TCS, Infosys etc. Internships are provided by Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant etc. Roles offered include Software engineer, data analyst, full sack etc.
Infrastructure: Proper facilities are provided by the college, like Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, spacious classrooms, and a library. The hostel is also sufficient for students, but seats are limited and are filled early. It is better to look for a hostel outside the college. Also, a sports ground is not present.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. From 2024, autonomy is followed. The syllabus is set to make students industry-ready. Exams are of moderate level. In college, semester exams of 30 marks and end-semester exams of 70 marks are conducted.
