Q: What entrance exam scores are accepted by RNS Institute of Technology for admission?

RNS Institute of Technology accepts national or state-level entrance exam to get admission. Aspirants need to qualify the course-specific entrance exam along with fulfilling of the eligibility criteria for admission. Below is course-wise accepted entrance exam:

Q: What is the structure of KMAT question paper?

The KMAT structure has remained unchanged since the past few years. KMAT exam will have 120 multiple-choice questions to be solved in 120 minutes. There is no negative marking in the KMAT exam and no marks will be deducted for questions not attempted. There will be three sections in the KMAT question paper, i.e. Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude. Each section of the KMAT question paper will have 40 multiple choice questions which will have four options each. One mark will be awarded to the candidates for each correct answer. The exam will be conducted in the remote-proctored mode. Before 2020, the exam was conducted in the paper-based test mode. But since the COVID-19 pandemic, the authorities changed the exam mode to internet-based test mode.

MCA RNSIT department Bangalore.

Placements: Placements are good, and we get a good scope. We get different companies with great packages and all. Good team of placement and all. We have got Infosys, Oracle, and other top companies, so that is good for a fresher.

Infrastructure: Everything is nice, and the rooms are good in the hostel. I don't live there, but I have heard from others. Timing is okay, we have to be before 8 PM inside the college campuses. The food and all are good, you get all unlimited, and the menu changes every day.

Faculty: Very good faculty. They are very supportive and all. They are good in their subjects and in research papers too. Tests are done on a regular basis, and all are done fairly, and no biases are applied here on the test and all. All is done fair and no cheating is done.

Placements: Placements are well offered to all students. Students are trained better to gain more opportunities. Companies such as Accenture, Bosch, Infosys, and Amazon are offering high packages for students. Approximately 70-80 percent of students get placed every year.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very beautiful compared to other colleges. The food court, library, and classrooms are spacious. Labs are well-structured. The hostel is good for students. The ground is very big for the students to play on.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-educated and student-friendly as they help students to gain their technical skills for the future. Exams are well-handled and strict.

Other: Events are always happening around the campus, like technical fests or cultural fests, which students enjoy both.

About the MCA branch at RNSIT.

Placements: There are a decent number of placement opportunities. Many reputed companies visit the campus for recruitment.

Infrastructure: The college has a nice and calm infrastructure. However, outside the college, a main road that can create traffic issues, and many accidents have been spotted. The canteen food is slightly more expensive, but the quality of food is good because of the strict and well-maintained cleanliness. There is also good Wi-Fi coverage across the campus.

Faculty: All faculty members, curriculum, and exams are strictly maintained and managed properly. Discipline is also maintained, and every faculty member is knowledgeable. They treat students with respect and guide them properly rather than considering them as rivals. Most students here are well-disciplined. However, sometimes teachers provide unwanted courses that do not belong to our field. They are not very useful because there is not enough time to complete them.

Other: There is nothing much to mention. But every student needs to study on their own rather than depending completely on teachers or subjects.

Placements: College provides good placement opportunities. The faculty members are supportive. The placement cell is good. Most of the companies will visit the campus for the placements. Impressive packages and good opportunities will be provided. Overall, the college is rated well.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good. Campus is well-equipped with Wi-Fi everywhere. The buildings are attractive and provide a good environment for studying. The library is well structured. Hostels are good, and there will be high security inside the campus.

Placements: I'm currently pursuing MCA at RNSIT, and I must say the placement support here is really impressive. The department starts placement training early, including coding practice, aptitude tests, and interview prep. Many of my seniors have secured jobs in top IT companies like Amazon, TCS, and Infosys. Even as a current student, I feel confident that I will get good internship and placement opportunities. The placement cell is approachable and constantly guides us, making the whole process smooth and encouraging.

Classrooms are spacious and comfortable, and the library has good reference materials. Great learning experience at RNSIT.

Placements: I am part of the MCA 2024-26 batch. At RNSIT the placement rate for MCA is around 70 percent. For the recent graduation batches the highest package offered is around 12 LPA while the lowest is approximately 3.5 LPA. The average package for MCA ranges between 4 LPA and 6 LPA.

Infrastructure: The RNSIT campus provides a peaceful environment for students to learn. The Central Library is a major highlight being fully automated with a huge collection of reference books and journals. The canteen serves good quality food at affordable rates.

What happens if a student fails internal exams in RNS Institute of Technology?

Students no need to panic. They get to write improvements to which they can study well again and perform well.

But sometimes in case when improvment tests are not provided they tell you in before hand. So you need to study well. It all depends on the scenario.
