The college needs great transformation to survive and excel.
Placements: The college hasn't given any decent placements in any highly recognised firm in recent days. Only marketing companies usually come for campus drives and in that case too, call letter is not guaranteed. You might have to try sitting in open campuses in different colleges of RGPV.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is presently not that decent and needs a lot of maintenance and improvement which it lacks. Among all the colleges of Radharaman Group Of Institutes, REC has the most sad looking building except for the Seminar Hall which is good. Especially, the condition of few labs is awful and many machines are not functioning.
Faculty: REC offers probably the best faculty for Mechanical and Civil Engineering but expect for that the condition is not quite good. The faculty is knowledgeable and helps in terms of course completion but sometimes, like all other colleges, course isn't completed. The quality of education is good but not well-equipped with labs for everyone.
Other: The annual event "VIHAN" is conducted on a good level and all get equal opportunities to willingly participate in whatsoever competitions or contests they want. The campus crowd is decent but in case of extracurricular activities, only Cricket and Kho-Kho are in regular practice.
