Not at all satisfied, poor.

Placements: Placements are so poor. We pay more than 12 lakhs in fees, even though it is a central government college still we do not get a 3 LPA job at TCS. College on campus is very poor. Companies don't come here and they send the CS department to Bangalore in 4th year in the name of exposure. But only we know what the reality is. Recently, a 3rd-year student did suicide but this college is shameless enough to even hold some sympathy.

Infrastructure: Construction is still ongoing on and only two academic blocks are there. Wi-Fi doesn't work properly even after complaining a lot they don't fix it. Library is good and classrooms are good too but still, there's a need for more enhancement. Talking about the hostel even after a hefty amount they clean our room only once in 15 days. Wi-Fi is very poor. Medical facilities are the worst in the name of health center, all they have is bitadine and cotton.

Faculty: Even the HOD for the CS department is from the civil branch. They do not have good faculty members who are specialized enough for particular CS branch. Faculty members are well qualified but they are not as specialized in CS. They don't even know how to teach good. Students have to prepare all on their own to get off-campus placements.

Other: No proper sports facilities are here, we are not provided with a proper coach to train us. College life is the worst even though they get a good amount from the government. Still fest life is bad here, no artists and nothing creative. Good thing we can talk about official sitting here eating all of our money.

A growing institute of national importance.

Placements: Nearly all students get placed in core branches. Tech branches are yet to pass. IOCL, HPCL, GAIL, Torrent Gas, ONGC, Byju's, Wipro, etc. recruit from here. Tech branch students get internship mainly in startup companies like Zenskar, Trust Hive, etc. Research internships are offered at IITs, IIST and foreign universities like the University of North Texas.

Infrastructure: State-of-the art classrooms are well furnished and air-conditioned. Expensive labs and abundant books and journals in the library relate to courses as well as other fields. Wi-Fi connectivity is present all over the campus premises. Hostel rooms are double-shared, spacious, and airy with proper natural light. Mess food is decent, with a good variety. The health center, ambulance and institute pharmacy are there to address issues relating to health. The canteen is open 24*7.

Faculty: All teachers are PhDs from IITs, foreign universities or other eminent institutes like IIEST, BHU, and DU. The CSD course is up-to-date and includes cyber security, IoT, and machine learning. Exams require consistent study; otherwise, they are too difficult to pass with good grades.

Other: There are diverse fields available to work in CSD, from software development to UI/UX design and game development. Kaltarang is the annual cultural fest, Urjotsav is the techfest, Pratidhvani is the freshers and Energie is the sports fest here. Students from all over India come here. The connectivity is good by rail and road. The locality is rural, with vast, expensive farms. A large number of councils and clubs, like S&T, Cultural Council, Sports Council, E-Cell, Social Council, ACM, IEEE, AICHE, SEG, SPE, etc., are present.
