Preferred college among tier 3 colleges in Nagpur.

Placements: Approximately 80% of students were placed with an average package of 4-5 LPA; the highest package was 23LPA and the lowest was 3.6 LPA. The top recruiting companies include D.E. Shaw, Nvidia, Porter, ZS, and CnR. Additionally, around 55% of students received internship plus PPO offers, with roles including SDE, SDET, and Platform as a Service Consultant.

Infrastructure: This college offers excellent facilities and infrastructure, including air-conditioned labs, Wi-Fi, and digital classrooms around the campus. The teaching staff is well-qualified. The boys' hostel can be rated as average, with rooms being quite small. The mess can be considered average to good, and other facilities, such as washrooms and water supply, adequately meet student needs.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified in technical knowledge and are very supportive. The course content can be considered average compared to industry requirements. Semester exams are generally excellent in comparison to other tier 3 colleges in Nagpur, with medium to hard difficulty levels. Some papers are more practical, focusing on case studies to assess students' knowledge of the subjects.

Other: I am from the IT branch and chose this course because I am eager to learn technical knowledge and practical skills. Additional practical knowledge and industry-related activities should be integrated into the course. Events and fests are well organized.

Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management

Placements: 80-90 percent of students get placed in my course. The highest package was 30-35 lakh per annum, and the average was 4-6 lakh per annum. Companies like TCS, Darwinbox, Accenture, Nutanix, Tata, and Infosys have visited, and 80-90 percent of students get internship offers, including HR internships.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is amazing. Every branch faculty provides hands-on experience. Practical labs are conducted regularly, and doubt-clearing sessions are held. Our college has separate hostels for girls and boys, along with a canteen, food services, and various sports facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are extremely helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable, with a wealth of experience. They clear our doubts and teach with the help of presentations, making it easy to understand concepts. Semester exams are based on what is taught in class.

Pretty average college. But offers better placements than any other college in the city.

Placements: Around 80% of students are placed with an average package of 7.5 lakh per annum. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, JP Morgan, Fivetran and TCS. They are all recruited as frontend developers, full-stack developers, etc. Students are offered internships at the beginning and on that basis they are given jobs.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is pretty average. The college also provides certain basic facilities like a canteen, library, and WiFi. Labs are also well equipped with up-to-date computers and lab assistants are always there to help you resolve the problems. College hostels have facilities of Wi-Fi, gym and mess.

Faculty: All the teachers here are well qualified. But there are only a few of them who teach well. Most of the time, students have to study on their own or with material provided by the teachers. The course curriculum is relevant to the industry and the exams counted are also of moderate level.

Other: I chose this course for the curriculum it offers . I was interested in coding and stuff. But I wish there were more practical subjects instead of theoretical ones. Events and festivals in college are pretty average; there are hardly any events happening though. RBU doesn't offer any scholarships to the students, whereas there is no encouragement for extracurricular activities.

Honest Review : Ramdeobaba University.

Placements: The placement scenario here is great, as almost 70% of the students get placed here, with an average salary of 5.5 Lacs. The T&P cell here is supportive and takes care that students are placed in well-reputed companies. Overall, the scenario is great and supportive.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great, with high-facility labs and classrooms with Wi-Fi connections and CCTV surveillance. With well-equipped labs and also the required setup, the new demands are well fulfilled. The lab staff is also very supportive and takes care of the lab very well.

Faculty: The curriculum might be outdated to some extent but now for the new batches it is being updated in accordance with the real-world applications and requirements. The semester examinations lie between easy and moderate level and the previous year papers could be of great help.

Other: Overall it is a great college and the faculty staff is much supporting.

Overall, A very good college, one can consider this if the target is placement only.

Placements: Decent placement, even in recession times. This year, the highest package was 38 LPA, and almost 70% of students got placed. The placement cell is working very nicely; internship opportunities are also provided. Competitive coding classes are allocated to make students ready for hackathons.

Infrastructure: Decent hostel, very good mess and canteen. The ground is not good. The canteen and mess are really good. Those who are not living in the college hostel can also join the mess, and the food is really good. The canteen food is decent too. The ground is really small, falling short of expectations.

Faculty: Very good; overall, the strongest point to consider in this college. The tests and exams are conducted on time, and the syllabus is completed on schedule. The curriculum is also good. There are not too many useless subjects in the 1st year, unlike other universities. The main focus is kept on skills.
