Things you should know about Sapthagiri college.
Placements: Students from the IS and CS departments do get placed at some good companies. But for biotech companies, we don't have such good placements. I've heard seniors get jobs that aren't even relatable to their subject. So the placement for our department is quite average.
Infrastructure: We have really good classrooms; the helpers here always wipe and clean the floors and railings. As I'm a day scholar, I don't know much about the host facilities. The library is indeed very knowledgeable and convenient to study in. We have all the books that we need through the completion of our course.
Faculty: The teachers in my department are highly educated. We know getting a Ph.D. isn't everyone's cup of tea. But here, almost every teacher has a Ph.D. So, we basically have 8 semesters in the span of 4 years. With exams in every semester. These exams are a little difficult.
Other: I chose this college because I heard the lab facilities here are really good and they didn't disappoint me. I would like to be successful in the field I have chosen for myself. And this college will help me with it.

One of the reputed colleges on the Bangalore campus.
Placements: 100% of placements are done in this college. The highest package is 35 LPA and the lowest package is 8 LPA. ISE and CS. About 80% in Software and 90% in hardware eg biochemical companies and Software development companies. Information design thinking and some other reach oriented etc. And some internships take outside they do not Train.
Infrastructure: They constructing a new canteen and there is no medical facilities and sport and games. Good but in some situations their time to wait and my college after 5 years can be autonomous. Vtu University avoids scams to fail the student. Don't they give touch.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and kindly their r friendly. The teaching quality is nice. S they need training and students r brilliantly to do their work in the industry. The exam will be slightly difficult but in vtu University r do their scams in evaluation. To fail the student. Pass percentage external 35marks percentage 50%. Everything is all right and in vtu department please give Chance to Wright exams like supplementary and don't do year back and some changes we need 2018 scheme and everything is good alright.
Other: This course is some reach oriented and interesting and it's biological and some things are best to understand. Education quantity more and more to improve and some donations and administration should be less. there are no fests and events and others are nice and valuable.

Faculty members are PhD holders and are very professional.
Placements: At present, I am in the 1st semester at Sapthagiri College of Engineering. The college has the finest placements. The top MNCs come to the college and conduct interviews. The highest package offered is 17 LPA. The college offers more research funds that will help us to find placements.
Infrastructure: The campus is huge and has separate blocks for each department. The library is huge and has about 22,000 books and volumes. It is a Wi-Fi enabled campus. The canteen provides pure vegetarian food. Medical facilities are provided. Sports tournaments are held.
Faculty: The faculty members are very well-trained and professional. They are PhD holders and help the students in every class. They will support us in the research. The course is very interesting. All the students learn biotechnology, and it is related to the eco-system.
Other: Fests and events are conducted every month.

Course and faculty members are best. Infrastructure is not well defined.
Placements: 1.30% of placements can be expected.
2. The highest package was 25lakhs /annum and the lowest package is 3lakhs /annum.
3. BYJU's is the usual company which places many candidates.
4. No core companies for biotechnology. Since no core companies came, students lack their interest in the job.
6.100% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: 1. labs are good but not very well-equipped. Wi-Fi facilities are provided in the college only after registration. Classrooms are well furnished with fan, digital screen studies, Projectors.
2. Hostel food is healthy but not tasty. Hostel facilities are improving day by day.
Faculty: Faculty members are a real gem. Best quality of education. Knowledgeable and always helpful in studies. Very encouraging in solving doubts. The course curriculum is fine but not in-depth. Since its field of life Science, more knowledge must be gained.
Other: This course is related to the biology field and best field for bio background students. Who are interested in engineering.

Has good teaching quality and well defined campus and infrastructure.
Placements: Placements are good enough for other branches but there are only three core companies for biotechnology and the package for placement is good enough and the highest package this year was 12.4 lacs per annum and it was for sales not for IT company.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are fine with good campus and classrooms are clean enough and labs are good and well defined library and has good sports and medical facilities and food in hotel is fine and the quality of food can still be improved in future.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and helpful with good knowledge and the teaching quality is pretty high and the course is curriculum relavent and our department does conduct industrial visit every for more industrial knowledge for future purpose which make students industry ready.
Other: Campus crowd is pretty huge and fest is conducted in a nice manner and college support extracurricular activities.

It is a good place for friends and college life, but not for a career.
Placements: There were no placements for Biotechnology. We asked the placements department to provide placements for us, but they said they would get the companies and did not. On top of that, we were forced to apply to teaching companies, which we were not interested in. We all went to college for placements and the betterment of our future careers, but this place did not work for that, only the IT department had placements, and even those were very less.
Infrastructure: When we were there, everything was average. Now, the NPS has taken over the college. I used to stay in the college hostel only. The food was average. At that time, it was only vegetarian food, but now they have started providing non-vegetarian food as well, so they also hiked the fees.
Faculty: It was not that good. We had a very small number of staff in our college for our department and, hence, the sections.
Other: Fests were good.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, good placements in 2021.
Placements: The biggest package is 27lakhs per annum, the lowest and the average packages is 3lakshs offered in your course. The placements were good that depends on your skills and communication. That's okay if your not good at skills they will provide a training to learn.
Infrastructure: In our branch the labs were very good with all facilities. Quality of the facilities in your hostel, the quality of food available in the mess and canteen, medical facilities, sports and games. Department Wi-Fi, Labs, Classrooms, Library's are good.
Faculty: Yes the teachers helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The semester exams in this college is depends on the subjects. The pass percentage will be depends on your studies but if study well you can definitely score good.
Other: Events, Fest, Campus Crowd, Connectivity, Campus Surroundings, Scholarship, Extracurricular Activities, are provided.

I'm dissatisfied with the infrastructure of our college.
Placements: The percentage of students getting placed depends on their academics. The highest salary package offered was 13 LPA and the lowest salary package was 3 LPA. Internships were provided to students. The role offered was biotechnologists in the medical field.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was available in our college. Classrooms were average. Ground was not available in our college.
Faculty: One or two teachers in our college were helpful to students. Teaching quality was average. The course curriculum didn't make students ready for industry. Our college concentrated on studies rather than other activities. Teachers were rude.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in Biology and I was unable to complete NEET exams. Events and extracurricular activities were not organised in our college.
