It's a good college! Satisfied with my department faculty members. Infrastructure is average.
Placements: About 75% of students got placed. The highest package offered is 35 LPA, and the average is around 6-7 LPA. The lowest offered was 4 LPA. Infosys, Wipro, Nokia, and a few others visited our college. The salary package offered by Kickdrum was 34 LPA. Our college provides two offer letters.
Infrastructure: The infra is average. It's quite old. Labs are equipped with Wi-Fi facilities and the library is provided with free books for reference. Hostels are average, the food quality isn't up to the mark. The sports club is active, and the college provides good facilities for indoor and outdoor games.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very helpful and well-qualified. They possess good knowledge but the teaching quality is average. The course curriculum is quite outdated. It's preferred to gain experience by internships. Semester exams are easy! Referring to model papers and previous year papers would do good.
Other: I chose the course because of HOD, HG Nagendra, who is well-qualified and one of the best professors. He and a few other teachers are really helpful in the department. There is a department fest in college every year, and the department has good connectivity. The labs are always open for students.

The college has a very good atmosphere and faculty members.
Placements: A good amount of students got placed from various branches like computer science, mechanical, biotech, etc. Roles like a research assistant and quality control were offered to the students. Top companies like Syngene, Biocon, Accenture and Cognizant had visited here. Placements were very good even in other courses like MBA.
Infrastructure: Library, labs and sports facilities were good, but the infrastructure could have been improved. Facilities for extra curriculum are good and very accessible. Many engineering courses are available here. Apart from engineering, management courses are also available.
Faculty: Teachers here were efficient and well-qualified in teaching and conveying the concepts. Teaching quality is great, and most of the teachers are very helpful and encouraging. Students are ready for the industry with the experience they gained.
Other: I have chosen this course at this college because of faculty members.

Placements in our college are above average, but most of the students get placed in IT companies.
Placements: The placements for Biotech branch were above average. 40 out of every 50 students got placed in the last few years. The average package offered ranges between 2-3 LPA. Companies like SynGen visit the campus to offer placements. Internships need to be arranged by the students themselves.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Sports ground is available for all the students to enhance their sports skills. Classrooms are reasonably spacious, and there will be no problem while attending different classes. A library is available on the campus. Students can issue a book for seven days. Hostels are good, and they have a cheerful ambience.
Faculty: All the teachers are well-qualified. They know their jobs very well. The teaching quality of most of the teachers is meeting the students' expectations. Industry exposure is a vital part of the curriculum for senior students as they visit research institutes in Bengaluru frequently.
Other: Both the department level and the college level events are organised. Campus surroundings are good. You can enjoy the greenery and the environment on the campus.

Short information about the college.
Placements: We have good placements in biotechnology in the core and non-core industries. Students don't have to worry if they have CGPA above 7. The students should have a clear concept about each topic. The placements will be based on their knowledge and their personal experience.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi in the college is fully accessed. We have projector attached classrooms, separate library apart from the main library, well-maintained labs with high-tech instruments like UV transilluminator, etc. The college also has airy classrooms with proper ventilation and first aid in case of emergency.
Faculty: All faculty members of the college are experienced with a minimum experience of 10 years. Some are PhD holders, and some are doing their PhD. They are student friendly faculty and has separate logs for each student. VTU prescribes the course followed in the college. The faculty can complete the entire syllabus on time.
Other: Periodic guest lecture, talks, and workshops are being held apart from research and investigation in the college.

Good infrastructure and teaching facility.
Placements: The placement was okay in my college but the placement cell offered a grooming session to the students before appearing in the final placements. Approximately 80% students were placed. The highest salary package for an engineer was 8.5 lakh but the average salary was 3.5 lakh. IT companies like Accenture, TCS and Infosys visited our campus. Apart from them, Mu Sigma, Amazon, Mindtree also visited our campus. Most of the students got associate software engineer position as a fresher. In between the summer or winter break, students have done their internships or training from various reputed companies like Dell, Samsung etc.
Infrastructure: The labs were nice with good facilities provided. The library is really big with lots of books as per the course which can be issued for as long as you want. The campus consists of a medical clinic, indoor and outdoor game spaces such as table tennis, football, cricket, long tennis, badminton, carom etc. Classrooms have enough space. The canteen is fine.
Faculty: Faculty members are really helpful and knowledgeable. They teach with thorough interest. Notes provided by them are worth it by exam point of view. Classroom instruction method is used for teaching purposes. Students get involved during the class. Most of the time, there are multiple industrial visits conducted by the college to expose the students to the corporate life.

Other: Sir. MVIT is one of the top colleges in Bangalore, providing good placement packages. Here you can find a friendly crowd hailing from both North and South India. Many engineering courses are available here. Best part of this college is we have a 230+ acre of campus area. Sports facilities provided by the college are excellent. In short I am proud to be MVITIAN.

Other: Good Biggest campus within the Bangalore region, teaching staffs are good especially biotechnology branch, sports facilities are best, Last but not the least place to watch the air show. Bad Fests or any other cultural programmes stop after evening(7 pm) proper security should be provided by the managing committee to ensure programmes should run at least until 11 pm. Language barrier as it happens for most of the north Indian people. No wifi zone in campus we have to dental college to avail the wifi internet facility.

Placement is average, faculty is also average and infrastructure is below average.
Placements: In SMVIT CS IT, ECE and even the core branch students got placed in IT company on an average package of 4to4.50 lack per annum. If u r coming for mechanical and civil then don't come. Amazon came last year took 2 or 3 students. Pega system, Infosys and some mass recruiter come to this college.18 lack is the highest package in this college.
Infrastructure: In SMVIT's hostel is the cheapest hostel compare to other colleges rooms are good, food is not good. College is spread in 133 acres. You will get Wi-Fi in hostel, gym was there but they demolished now and constructing new, sports facilities is good there is cricket, football ground and basketball court is also there. Library is here u can issue book easily, labs is there equipment are become old but they are changing now.
Faculty: Teachers from ECE and mechanical are little rude they don't give proper marks in internal but other branch's teachers are cool and helpful and teachers are qualified and they help you in the project. If you are coming for IT sector then you are welcome.
Other: I wanted to become an IT engineer so I joined this college and there is lot of jobs in Bangalore and everyone knows Bangalore is IT hubb. There is a event organised every year called kalanjali and an ethnic day celebrated in year called verb. College is 25 km away from main Bangalore but it is nearer to the airport.

Dear, first of all calculate your rank and then check it whether you are eligible or not because some other colleges are taking admission by the rank of students.

It depends on what your CET or ComedK rank is, not entirely on your board marks. There is a weightage given to your board marks only in CET not ComedK.
