Best college and period of my life.
Placements: Placement is not too good in my course. But some of my friends got placement, some of them went for Masters & Ph.D. Some are preparing for government services, like me. Many students are working in higher posts like me (Bureaucrats). Some of my friends got placed as content creators in top companies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library—everything is best over there. Facilities of the hostel are too good, and my hostel is located in a nice area. If you are in sports, then nothing is better than DU because it gives you the opportunity to represent at higher levels; I have also played in nationals.
Faculty: Professors of DU are highly qualified and knowledgeable, no doubt. Semester exams are not too hard; if you are focused in the classroom, there is no need to work hard for exams, whereas you can prepare for something else too. Pass percentage in my batch is approximately 80-85%.
Other: I was interested in history and wanted to prepare for UPSC, that's why I have chosen history and English as a subject. I wish I had taken economics too. DU is full of events, fests, and co-curricular activities.

If improved, the college can be better.
Placements: A maximum of 15-20% of students get placement in our college as the course is not that fancy and there aren't many career options in this course. The placed students got a placement of 4,00,000 per year maximum. Getting placed is quite rare in this course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good and fine; we've got a lift and a good auditorium with a fine canteen. There are different Wi-Fi facilities for the morning and evening, with the best one located in our college's library, which is another positive aspect.
Faculty: The teachers are good some are really helpful and great at their work, while others are not but the majority of teachers are cooperative and helpful. Some curriculum are relevant and some are not. The examinations are mediocre and the passing percentage is 40%, which is 4 CGPA.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in both English and history and wanted to pursue both. If given the opportunity, I'd improve the book facilities on our course. There are many society fests, but very rare annual fests with any celebrities.

Average infrastructure but good faculty. The library is decent, but the crowd is not up to the mark.
Placements: For arts students, there are not many placements; on the other hand, for students of commerce, there are a lot of placement opportunities. The placement cell works well to attract and invite companies for their placement fair. If you study well, you can get a really good placement.
Infrastructure: There's no hostel available in Satyawati College, but other facilities such as a library with over 80,000 books, a fully conditioned auditorium, a canteen, and a really good sports ground. Classrooms are a bit small but pretty good. The overall infrastructure is quite average.
Faculty: All the teachers are well qualified and helpful. When it comes to DU, the faculty stands out the most as they are all the best in their respective subjects. The exams are easy if you study well throughout the semester. The curriculum is vast and provides deep learning with options from other streams too.

All in all, this is a decent college.
Placements: Hello, everyone. I'm Akansha, a graduate from Satyawati College (morning shift), and I want to share information about the placement percentages, which are average in this college. To secure a good placement, it's advisable to opt for demanded courses like B.Com Honours or B.Com Economics Honours. Unfortunately, the chances are less for those enrolled in any B.A. Programme course. The highest package recorded was 12 lakhs per annum, the average was 7 lakhs per annum, and the lowest was 5 lakhs per annum. About 29 percent of students secured internships, and roles such as assistant manager, fresher, manager, and executive were offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average, falling neither on the good nor bad side. In my B.A. Programme, some teachers were consistent in taking classes, while others were not. The facilities like the lab and library are reliable, and Wi-Fi is also available. However, I found the food in the canteen to be subpar.
Faculty: The teaching quality at Satyawati is highly impressive. Many teachers conduct regular classes, ensuring they use your time efficiently and address all your doubts. However, having good teaching does not necessarily make a student job-ready. Semester exams are relatively easy; you just need to cover the entire syllabus during the classes to succeed.
Other: B.A. Programme was never my desired course; I initially wanted to pursue B.Com Honours or Economics Honours. However, during the course, I found it to be relatively easy, regardless of your 12th-grade background. Various events are organized during festivals like Diwali, Dussehra, Navratri, etc. The campus crowd, according to my perspective, is not very appealing.

It is an adventurous and decent college.
Placements: Students are placed in my course, approximately 60% of the college population. The highest package in my college is 43 LPA, the lowest package is Rs. 72,000 per annum, and the average package is 6-7 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Byju's, Wipro, and Tata Consultancy Services.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, with free Wi-Fi provided for all the students. All kinds of books are available, like for competitive exams, novels, and course-related books. The library, canteen, and computer labs are air-conditioned. A gym facility is also provided for college students.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are very supportive and very attentive, especially during the exams. My course curriculum prepares students to be ready for competitive exams and placements. Semester exams are average, and the pass percentage of students is approximately 85%.

Q:   Can I get into Satyawati College without CUET?
A:

No, Satyawati College admission to all the courses, i.e., undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, is entrance-based. While this DU-affiliated college accepts CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses, such as BS, BCom and BSc, admission to all the postgraduate courses is subject to the CUET- PG exam starting admission 2023. Satyawati College along with DU started accepting CUET UG starting 2022 and the CUET PG from 2023 session onward. Before this, admission to undergraduate was based on merit in Class 12 and PG admission was mostly subject to DUET exam previously conducted by DU.
