Be the best collection. A story begins now in Saveetha Engineering College. I hope go with feel good
Placements: 90 percentage placed. 27 LPA, 5.6, 6 LPA. TCS, Amazon, Flipkart. 80 Data analysis. I think about 97 percent students placed on the banners & flex shows. Companies like Qualcomm, Amazon, Infosys for computer-based courses. Not idea about internship right now. College looks like well active placements cell, seniors every time face tests of soft & coding skills every time.
Infrastructure: Well-equipped labs and surrounded with noise-protection glasses. Hostel has a part of two, one is new with full AC rooms, another one is mixed up of AC & Non-AC rooms. Hostel was cleanly maintained by crowd members. Mess with full AC dining, with North people catering service. Medical & technical were ready for 24/7 service. Sports are well supported for hostel students.
Faculty: Very good supporting mentor, absolutely. Flexible system. Faculty members are very friendly on & off the campus. Curriculum is so fast and learn new things because is flexi learning. Exams were conducted in every 45 days, meaning a semester. Ahh it's real. 90 days is split into 45+45. One is called skill-based courses, another one was called foundation-based courses.
Other: I am interested in machine learning AI. Excellent. All about the TNEA counselling matters, chose the college suddenly. It's good, AIML is developing field now. Every class we should change the classrooms and committed with new learners are. Clubs are active and link with seniors easier. They provide the merit scholarship. I enter with 7.5 reservation quota under TNEA.

SEC is highly recommended for those who want to enjoy their college life.
Placements: SEC maintains a strong placement record. The overall placement rate is around 97 percent. Our college offers more companies and provides training as well. They guide us very well, even though we have zero knowledge in our domain.
Infrastructure: My department is equipped with well-organized and well-developed labs. The hostel provides decent rooms with minimum hygiene. We have a very big building with perfect infrastructure. Our classrooms are very neat and clean. The only thing I dislike about our college is the restroom. It is not nice.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and well-educated. The course outcome is very relevant to our domain. Faculty members are very friendly and engaging. They help us achieve our goals. Now, coming to the semester exams, they are easy as our college provides the question bank.

Do not choose this college. Placements are the worst.
Placements: To my knowledge, literally nobody gets placed in my department. The worst part is they even drop the IOT department after the 2024 batch, which is horrible. As I said, nobody recruits for IOT. Same answers for top roles offered.
Infrastructure: There is nothing like IOT-specific infrastructure, but there is still fast Wi-Fi support with some lab experiments for IOT. The hostel is decent. They offer non-veg food all seven days a week. Hostel rooms are also good with AC.
Faculty: The main reason my course is dropped is that there is no proper teaching faculty with expertise in this field. The courses are relevant but focus more on theory than practical experiments. The semesters are easy. Students can pass the exams without much studying by writing relevant content on the pages.
Other: It is not at all value for money for this course. Maybe that is the reason why the course is dropped.

Overall experience is good. Great infrastructure and placements.
Placements: Placements in our college are really good. They specifically select students who have a good CGPA and strong skills and provide them with full semester training allowing them to focus on preparation instead of regular classes. The college emphazes strong technical skills and aptitude required to crack placements. Recently an IT student is placed in Qualcomm with a package of 33LPA and a core student is placed in a Japanese company with 22LPA. Overall the placement cell is very active and effective.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good. The campus is well maintained and the classrooms are digital with AC providing a good learning ambience. The hostel is also quite good and the food is better compared to many other colleges. Considering the amount we pay the facilities such as AC rooms and clean washrooms are satisfactory. The college also has a well equipped study hall and library with a wide range of books. During the rainy season water stagnates at the college entrance which is frustrating and makes it difficult to access buses from outside.
Faculty: The faculty members are really good and well experienced. My college follows a flexible learning system which means students can choose their own course timings and faculty members. The subject enrollment process is very poor because the server often goes down during enrollment making it difficult to register for courses. Another major aspect is that everything is digital even attendance. There is an application called My Camu through which we can access everything related to the college, including fee payment attendance and leave applications.
Other: I am a Mechanical Engineering student and I chose this course because I truly love the field. The college provides very good technical training for computer related courses but Mechanical students also need the same level of exposure especially for average learners. Toppers can manage on their own but more attention and guidance should be given to average students. The college conducts events workshops and industrial visits every month which is helpful but we still require more practical exposure to strengthen our skills.

To join under management quota you need to visit the college and make admission just by paying the fee and submitting the necessary documents. However, if you get an admission through counselling you will be asked to visit and confirm the admission by doing the same as in management quota.
