The last date for submission of the SRMJEEE 2024 application form was June 15, 2024. The SRMJEEE is the entrance exam for admission into a BTech and MTech course at SRM University Chennai. 
The university offers over 80 UG, PG, doctoral, and diploma courses. Admission for most of the courses is on an entrance basis, and university admission considers national-level entrance examinations such as CAT, MAT, XAT, TANCET, and NATA. 

To gain entry into the M.Sc. degree programs offered at the School of Science and Humanities, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), the university mostly accepts a valid SRM Joint Entrance Examination (SRMJEEH) score. This examination takes place for a number of postgraduate programs including those under the Science and Humanities faculties. Moreover, some courses may have their own entrance components, like the SRM Future Skills Test for some specializations such as Applied Data Science.

The mix of the coursework and preparation for the job market makes it ideal for students who want to study further in computer applications.

Placements are not good as the department doesn't provide support for placing their students. But overall college is good for MCA courses.

SRM Institute of Technology Kattankulathur MCA Highlights. As per the official website, the institute has concluded its placement drive for the batch 2022-23. The highest and average package offered stood at INR 44.14 LPA and INR 7.7 LPA, respectively.

VIT Vellore and School of Science and Humanities, SRM IST, Chennai both are renowned universities for B.Com. However, in terms of affordability, VIT Vellore is a better option since the total tuition fee for VIT Vellore is INR 165,000 - INR 270,000 and the total tuition fee for B.Com at School of Science and Humanities, SRM IST, Chennai is INR 18,000 - INR 390,000. In the total fees that students generally end up paying the university or the college, various other components are also included, such as the exam fee, application fee, lab and other charges.

SASTRA (Deemed to be University) and School of Science and Humanities, SRM IST, Chennai both are renowned universities for B.Sc. However, in terms of affordability, SASTRA (Deemed to be University) is a better option since the total tuition fee for SASTRA (Deemed to be University) is INR 200,000 and the total tuition fee for B.Sc. at School of Science and Humanities, SRM IST, Chennai is INR 75,000 - INR 380,000. In the total fees that students generally end up paying the university or the college, various other components are also included, such as the exam fee, application fee, lab and other charges.
