Our college has great faculty members but they can improve on giving placements.
Placements: Only 35% of the students got placed from our college. The salary offered ranges from approximately Rs. 25,000 per month to Rs. 45,000 per month. Top recruitment is done by TCS and Accenture. Around 40% of the students got internships in TCS and Accenture. Best role of a coder is offered. More jobs are offered in the computer applications category.
Infrastructure: Laboratories and the library are pretty good. Facilities are great as well. Although work could be done on the old infrastructure and the range of books available in the library. More focus can be given to the canteen as well. It needs special attention.
Faculty: Faculty members are brilliant. In terms of relevance though, it was average. The exams were standard, and the pass percentage is 30%. The exam standard could be raised to make students work harder to achieve better marks in the university examination.
Other: I opted for this course because I love the subjects. I'm very satisfied. About the social interaction part, they can improve. Fest and extracurricular activities are almost nil. That's the worst part.

Overall, especially for physics, our college is a very good option.
Placements: Few companies visited our college after our 3rd year for placements. About 50-100 students get a job opportunity each year. In the other subjects also, there is a similar opportunity. There is no scope for an internship. As it is a B.Sc college, so placements are not deeply available here.
Infrastructure: As I am a Physics (Hons.) student, our practical lab is fantastic with feasible lab instruments. There are 2 huge practical rooms, and the teachers are very helpful. The computer lab is fully air-conditioned with a government-sponsored computer and a good teacher.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful. They inspired us in each step of life and tackled our problems personally. Their teaching quality is outstanding, especially in physics subjects.
Other: An annual sports function is conducted each year. Many other competitions like quizzes and poster presentations are also conducted here.

There are good, knowledgeable and friendly faculty members for physics.
Placements: Some of the seniors of our department got placed well, while some are still searching for government jobs. Some are working in TIFR Mumbai, IIT Kharagpur. Nearly 10% of the students got internships from here.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is pretty decent in this college. Labs are well-equipped with new instruments. Classrooms have a sufficient number of benches, lights and fans. The central library has a huge collection of books ranging from arts to science to business management. But our college does not have a hostel. However, it has a canteen where the price of the food is reasonable. A common room is available beside the canteen, where carrom board and table tennis can be played.
Faculty: The teachers here are very helpful and inspiring. They always motivate us to read not just curriculum-based books but also other fictional books. Most of them hold a PhD degree in various fields, and their teaching quality is pretty decent. This course is mainly for students who want to pursue research in the future. Courses on classical mechanics, quantum mechanics, statistical mechanics and electrodynamics are mainly focused here.
Other: The only reason for me to choose this course is I love physics. The best thing about our college is there are friendly teachers. Every year Saraswati puja and Basanta Utsav are celebrated here. SVMCM scholarships are provided to students who meet the requirements. Campus surroundings are pretty calm, and the atmosphere is good for reading.

Totally satisfied with the college, faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: There are placement opportunities for students who achieve decent marks in university exams. 20 to 30% of students get direct placement opportunities in various companies like Amazon, TCS and other major or mid-level IT companies. Some of the top roles offered in our course are software developer, website designing and providing security etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is a key thing to mention. Overall, the college and our department do have good infrastructure. Laboratories have modern instruments, and they are really appreciable. There is Wi-Fi available, although the speed is quite low. Classrooms are classy with good quality lighting. The departmental library and central library are both good to go with a large collection of books. There is no hostel in this college. A canteen is there which offers quality food at pocket-friendly prices. There is a scope for playing indoor games like carrom, and it offers quite a few outdoor games facilities too.
Faculty: In our department, we have excellent faculty members. The teachers are very much helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and well qualified. More or less, every one of them has got the quality to teach the students well. The course curriculum is also very relevant these days. The new CBCS regulation is there to make the students industry-ready like never before.
Other: Choosing physics for B.Sc. course is always fun if you are interested in further studies. There are some skill enhancement courses included with our course, which makes it more relevant to the current time. I feel like the syllabus should have been reduced a bit, but it is alright. Extracurricular activities do take place in various events. Every year, we visit some new places for a picnic purpose. Events like Teacher's day and Republic day are celebrated greatly.

Our college management is strict about any malicious activity done by students.
Placements: Almost 2%-3% of the students were placed from our course. Salary packages are not offered in our course. None of the students has been recruited by companies throughout my course session. None of the students got internships from our course. Internships and placements are not provided for the commerce section in our college.
Infrastructure: There is a huge library in our college, and three librarians are available in the library. Almost every book is available for our course and other courses also. There is also a book store which provides books at very low rates (25% discount on the rate). Classrooms and labs are huge, but there is no Wi-Fi facility. There is no hostel on our campus. Bathrooms are available on every floor, and cleanliness is maintained. There is a canteen, but the food served here is unhygienic. Sports and games are organised in other colleges as the ground is small in our college.
Faculty: The teachers here are helpful and qualified, but only senior teachers are knowledgeable. Some of the younger teachers are irresponsible in their work. Overall, the teaching quality is good here. I think this course curriculum is not relevant. Students have to work hard apart from the college studies in their course.

The college has good faculty members, but I am dissatisfied with placements.
Placements: Very few companies are showing their interest in selecting employees from this college. Mainly final year students get the opportunity of placements. Only 30% of the students got placed in our course. In the last year, the highest salary package offered in our course was 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college has a well-equipped library with a spacious reading room. A good number of books of Indian and foreign authors are available for the use of students. The college computer center offers some courses in computer education for students of this college. The college canteen provides the best food at reasonable prices.
Faculty: There are six to seven professors for each honors subject. They are well-qualified and very knowledgeable. Teaching quality is satisfactory. Overall, faculty members are very helpful. The course curriculum is good. These courses are very relevant for future prospects.
Other: The behavior of the office staff members should be improved. Extracurricular activities like fests and competitions should be held on our college campus.

The college has really good infrastructure and faculty members.
Placements: As it's a general college, the college is not able to provide placements. But if you are a student from the science department, then your future is good. Some career counselling sessions are organised by the college, but they are not sufficient. If you graduate from SAJC in B.Com, you will get very good placements outside.
Infrastructure: SAJC has an excellent physics laboratory. The instruments have low errors, and all the instruments are checked every week. The college is affiliated to Calcutta University. If you don't get admitted in this college, you might miss a great opportunity to learn physics practically. Wi-Fi facility is available on the campus, and sports and games are also available. The canteen is not satisfying for me.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and their qualifications are not questionable. Physics, chemistry, math, and computer science departments are very good, and this college is known for B.Com course. I don't have any idea about the Arts department. You get analog and digital learning methods in the science department.
Other: The campus is very small, and events and fests are conducted.

I would not recommend this college.
Placements: There are no placement opportunities in the college for our course in Physics or any Science department. To my knowledge, no department in the arts provides job or placement prospects for students.
Infrastructure: The college is supposed to have Wi-Fi, but students are unable to use it. Presumably, the Wi-Fi is exclusively used by the faculty and staff members. There are projectors in the IQAC lab, which is air-conditioned. The library is also air-conditioned, but the facilities are very poor. Additionally, the other labs have old equipment, and many of them do not function properly.
Faculty: The faculty is a mixed bag, and I won't mention any names. Some of them were very good, while most of them were not great, and I did not enjoy their teaching. However, most of them made an effort to assist us before exams. Overall, the faculty was sufficiently qualified, with a few exceptions. The college follows the CU curriculum, which, in my opinion, is very poor.
