IITG conducted the GATE 2026 exam on February 7, 8, 14 and 15. The GATE result 2026 date is March 19. GATE Result 2026 Date: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has released the GATE 2026 result on March 19, 2026. The GATE result release time is 3 PM. Candidates who appeared for the national-level MTech exam can now check their results on the website, gate2026.iitg.ac.in. To access the result, candidates have to log in to the GATE GOAPS portal using their enrolment ID and password. GATE 2026 Result Date

The GATE 2026 result has been declared on March 19, 2026. Candidates can check their results for the marks, their subject cutoff and qualifying status. The authorities will release the GATE scorecard 2026, which will be available for download from the GOAPS portal itself. The authorities have announced the GATE scorecard date as March 27. Applicants will be able to download their scorecards till May 31 without paying any charges. After this period, the GATE 2026 scorecards will be available till December 31, 2026, by paying a fee of Rs 500 per test paper.

As we know, admission to the M.Tech programmes offered at NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs is done via CCMT counselling based on GATE scores. The conducting body for CCMT counselling changes every year. The CCMT eligibility is mentioned below: - Candidates must have a valid GATE score - A minimum of 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks must be acquired in the qualifying exam (For General and OBC). -
